The response in itself is a sales pitch! This guy uses every opportunity to sell. When I asked the lines drawn on my x-ray were digital or manual and he said they do it manually. When I compared the lines and superimposed, start and end points were not aligning at all. He deliberately does this to make a point that you have a spine issue so he can charge more. Couldn't be happier with this choice. I've never had a chiropractor take X-rays and take the time to see what is really going on with my spine. I was hit by a car in 2015 and broke both legs, hip and sternum.l, so I've gone through some stuff. I've also had migraines since I was a teenager and my jaw clicks and hold tension. On my second session, after the evaluation conversation, Dr. Hibbard was adjusting a spot on my neck, pressed a spot and it literally hit the nerve where I get my migraines. Understand that my neck curves a certain way that triggers that migraine spot and the jaw pain has been such a relief. It has been a really fascinating process learning about why my daily pains happen. I've learned more about my migraines and the adjustments and traction process has been helping so much with only a month of sessions. This has been a life changer for me! I have a condition called Ehlers-Danlos. I have had multiple hernia repairs. My spine was crooked but modern medicine sent me to physical therapy who told me that they can not treat "scoliosis". I was told by multiple doctors to stop walking for exercise since I was harming my body. I could only walk less than a mile without excruciating pain and the need to rest. I've had issues with my back/neck/shoulders for as long as I can remember. I've been seeing Dr H for a bit under 2 years and there is such a huge difference in my life. The treatments started making a difference within the first month. Prior to seeing Dr H; I couldn't get off the couch without struggling to actually stand up straight. My lower back was so painful I couldn't stand for long. I went to Disneyland with my nieces and couldn't make it through the day without sitting down after a few hours and at the end of the day, I skipped a couple rides because I just couldn't walk. This past November I went on vacation which included lots of physical activity which I would not be able to do without major issues over a year ago. I literally came back to my next appointment and gave Dr H a hug and cried when I explained how much I appreciate him and how much I was able to actually enjoy my vacation and not have to spend time stretching and using my back roller the whole time I was there. In fact, I actually gave my back roller to my boyfriend's dad because he ended up having back issues. I just wanted to express my thanks and appreciation for the wonderful treatment and care you and your staff have shown me. Before I came a patient of yours I was in a head on collision witch totaled both vehicles in 2012 causing severe neck pain and shoulder pain that was so extreme only people who have suffered or are suffering from nerve pain can understand the pain. I was examined at the hospital and was told I only had a minor concussion and was sent home. I am a NASM Certified Trainer and have been in business since 2005, so I assumed that I would be able to fix myself with corrective exercises, after all I do this for my clients. After several years of rehabilitating myself and having setback after setback, I finally went and had a CAT scan. The scan showed that my cervical spine was pinching 3 nerves and surgery was necessary to relieve the pain. I knew I had to change my strategy and avoid surgery at all cost. I was going to see if traction would help. That is when I found Limitless Health and Dr Tom Hibbard. I had an x-ray done in his office and from the x-rays shown the issue with my neck and why I was having setbacks. my neck was not shaped properly! Nice office, nice people but my request for information on my insurance and their policies were problematic. They said they took my insurance but not if they were in network, saying I had to come in person to speak to someone before they could tell me. Upon making the appointment for an initial consult to get this going, they asked me to pre-pay $25 as a appointment guarantee. I hadn't even met the doctor or knew if insurance would cover the visits. They agreed to make the appointment without the $25 but that was very offputting -- asking for money before I'd even been in the office. Then, when I got there, the person handling insurance was working remotely and they could only send my information and wait for her to reply, expecting me to pay for the visit out of pocket in the meantime. I was only changing chiropractors because the one I've had for years is no longer taking insurance, something I told them on the phone. I would have no reason to work with them if I wasn't going to be covered there. I did insist that I get an answer before visiting with the doctor, which they managed, only to find out they are out of network. They did offer specials and discounts for my first couple visits but that was pointless as I was looking for an ongoing practice that would take advantage of my 20 covered adjustments a year. They wasted both my time and theirs by not having a system that could determine coverage ahead of time and not listening and responding to the situation logically. I hope this review pushes them to reevaluate and change their policies and processes. read more

I love this place, the people, and the concept behind it all! I have been going to this chiropractor for 3+ years now and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a little spine love, anyone who has a one time injury, and more importantly for anyone looking to work out lifetime issues that have never found the root cause. First, a little background on me and my situation... In 2012, I was driving to my crappy retail job and got into a pretty gnarly car accident on the way. A very precious, (and very dumb) 19 year old little girl smashed into my fancy-schmancy 90's Mercedes-Benz at approximately 60 MPH. I was last in line at the stop sign at the bottom of a freeway offramp and homegirl exited the freeway without bothering to slow down. Her car was totaled, my car was totally boned. Although I was thrilled this precious little princess got me out of my closing shift at the mall, I was not happy with the inevitable trip to the ER and never-ending-pain from hell, cycle of doom, gloom and painful misery that soon incurred. This accident gave me multiple herniated and bulging discs in my c-spine, I had headaches every single day, I was in pain and thought I was going to/wanted to die. SO, between 2012-2015 I went to countless appointments with every medical doctor, hippie-dippie-woo-woo witchcraft whatever, physical therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, orthopedic surgeon, spine-guy, massage therapist, and everyone possible within a 50 mile radius. I did yoga, I took lots of drugs, I followed everyone's directions and zero therapies resolved my issues. After feeling completely defeated and having too many awkward visits with a creepy Westlake chiro, (who constantly pet my face and would awkwardly rub biofreeze on me), I accepted that I was probably going to live the rest of my life either really uncomfortably or moderately/heavily medicated. What did I do? I gave up. Fast forward to February 2016. One of my dear friends, (Jennings) referred me to this magical unicorn of a chiropractor named "Doctor Tom" and told me if I didn't make an appointment immediately she would straight up dump me as a friend forever. I didn't believe her and continued to suffer and feel miserable everyday. Then, finally, after a 15 day headache and serious immobility I made the leap and made an appointment with Dr. Tom. GAME CHANGER. It was spinal-healing-feel-good love at first sight! I am a huge fan of Dr. Hibbard, his staff and practice. I was hooked from my first adjustment and booked my second appointment before I even left the first one. At my second appointment, Doctor Tom took some X-rays and went over my condition with me about a week later. He explained my diagnosis and treatment plan in great detail, yet in a way that was easy for me to understand and comprehend. I started seeing Doctor Tom regularly and each visit I feel like I am hanging out with one of my friends, who also happens to be a very knowledgable, funny, kind and healing man of magic. I suffered from chronic pain that was consistently rated a 8 or 9 out of 10 for several years and within eight months, Dr. Tom has brought my pain level down significantly. So my wife and I recently had our second son, and Dr. Hibbard treated my wife all the way through her pregnancy. I have to say that his treatment made all the difference in the world! With our first son my wife's back and hips were constantly going out on her and she was really uncomfortable in the third trimester (I know, duh, right?). With this kid she wasn't able to exercise as much to keep her strength up, but Tom made sure she stayed in alignment and she experienced WAY less pain this time around. Dr. Hibbard is amazing. I too found him based on these great Yelp reviews. After 4 different chiropractors, Dr. Hibbard was able to diagnose me with multiple spinal issues and we are now 2 months into my treatment. The other chiropractors took little time to diagnose me and only treated me quickly since I was so "young" (I'm in my 20s so no one believed I had back issues). Dr. Hibbard is professional, friendly, and attentive at all times. His treatment is focused on the overall body; he isn't just focused on where the pain is at but the how and why the pain is happening. Currently my treatment is involved 3 times a week for at least the 3 months which my insurance doesn't cover all the costs. He has very flexible payment plans and of course he accepts credit cards. Know that he is willing to work with you and make you as comfortable as possible. His staff is phenomenal as well; they are friendly and courteous at all times. Due to my busy work schedule, they are able to change appointments literally 30 minutes before (now this isn't professional on my end so I am not advocating you do this on a regular basis). Actually I had a personal issue that involved me leaving town so I completely forgot to reschedule. They called the day of to make sure I was able to make the appointment which of course I had to cancel indefinitely until things were sorted out. They had called back 2 weeks later to ensure things were ok and offered to help me if they could. I have never had a doctor's office treat and care for the patients at this level. I know I have been gushing about them this entire review but you have to go to his office to experience what I am talking about. The initial visit was for my 8 year old daughters leg complaint - When I called to make the appointment 'front desk Ruth' informed me a consultation is free (sweet!) and the doctor can see us the next day! (super sweet!) Meeting Dr. Hibbard was awesome, he was super patient and took his time to address my daughter directly.
