I received a call back within in a few hours and Sabas made an appointment with me at my convenience. Sabas was on time, curtious, and really listened to what I wanted. I had been wanting to add on to my bedroom and had met with other contractors but the quotes I recevied were way out of my budget. I mentioned to Sabas I wanted to add on to my bedroom and asked him what he thought it would cost. He gave me a verbal estimate and it was so reasonable so I asked him to give me a written estimate for the shower, floors, and the addition. When I received the written estimate it was very detailed of what was included and in the same price range he verbally provided. I made the decision to move forward and he connected me with a archetect/designer to draw my plans for the addition. The process with both the designer and Cruz Construction was seamless and communication was so easy. As I worked with Sabas and his company over time I added the painting of my cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, replacing the hardware on the cabinets, replacing a window, and re roofing my home. His employees were kind, hardworking, and reliable. They cleaned up after themselves, were quiet, and did superior work. I have worked with many contractors throughout the years. I have build 2 homes and completely remodeled another. This contractor was far by the best! Due to the amount of work I had done this company worked in my house on and off for almost a year. Sabas was always took my calls and responded to any texts or emails the sameday. He was helpful in picking colors and brought samples to me. Any issues that came up he handled immediately. He has a very calm demeaner, is very patient, and really listens. He has direct employees to do all the work and does not use sub contractors which made the projects go so much smoother and timely. Several of his employees are relatives which was nice as they too were kind, patient, and hardworking. The pride all his employees take in their work really showed. I never worried about leaving my home and them being in it without me present. They were trustworthy, clean, and respectful of my property. I am so happy with the work that was done and how my projects turned out! If you are even thinking of needing a contractor don't hesitate to call Cruz Construction you will not be disappointmented. We have already paid for the entire job, which is still incomplete and riddled with problems. The operations manager (David Mendoza) doesn't know what he's doing. He tells me the foundation is too low, but they designed the plans and installed it themselves. In addition, the drainage system was installed incorrectly, with no drains in the bathrooms, the kitchen ceiling lights are misplaced, there's no ventilation in the kitchen, etc. David provides me with a schedule that he never adheres to and says it's Eric Martinez's fault, who isn't paying for materials or labor, even though payment was made at the beginning of the construction phase. I hired them because they claimed to be professionals, but I've found out they don't have their own workers and subcontract everything. That's not the problem; the problem is that they hire inexperienced people, perhaps from Home Depot, and the worst part is that I've received complaints that they aren't paying them. Right now, my project is a disaster, and I don't know how I'm going to finish it. If I call them too often, they say I'm harassing them and not letting them work. Perhaps they don't care about the interest I'm paying on the loan or the rental income I'm losing. Please think twice before hiring them. I've signed two addendums to extend the completion date, and they simply don't care. Please think twice before giving them any money.

Management does not take this issue serious and has been unprofessional during calls to rectify the issues (doing other activities while on the call, not paying full attention, not available for screen share because they are driving or not at the office). During calls it is clear they do not take notes to capture what was discussed because they are often away from the desk, do not provide meeting agendas/follow ups (as the client we have taken this action), and cannot give a reliable work schedule. You may get a good sales pitch but you will not get good service.

Mac Precision builders were hired to repair the closet door in my apartment I've lived in for 4.5 years that was supposedly broken. When I requested the receipt (I had to request it), the invoice was for $450. It included 4 hours of work at $75/hour, plus $150 of unspecified materials including touch up paint that is standard for the whole building and had to be free after 2 years of residency. The door was hardly broken and was very much usable if a bit sagging as obvious from the pictures provided by the apartment management themselves. I've requested to see the results of the $450 worth of work and the door is not fitting (I was told by the management it was a custom door that couldn't be replaced by the $109 from the Home Depot). I've requested the material receipts from Mac Precision Builders twice via email and once via a phone call during which the gentleman on the line told me that they were instructed by the apartment manager not to talk to me (the fact denied by the apartment management in the subsequent email). To this day nothing was provided.

The second time was similar. We had a water line break and it damaged the entire bathroom in the master bedroom. We were displaced from our bedroom and the house was hazardous. Joe was already booked with other projects, but was able to rearrange some of his staff and was able to start fixing the house that very day. Three weeks later, we had a beautiful bathroom. We hadn't anticipated doing another bathroom remodel, and certainly hadn't budgeted for it.
