I don't know if they were using a certain polymer, but wasn't my favorite thing to have to reschedule follow up appointments. The good news is - they were always willing to fix it, and never charged me for those follow up appointments. If you have great dental hygiene, you'll never have this issue :-). I personally just don't know if I really want to return. Nothing bad, but it hasn't been great. They also double book one hygienist each day of the week so she's constantly between two rooms cleaning - just seems like whoever that is gets pretty stressed out! I would be too!

I got the feeling that they are all about the money. They must be overcharging the insurance company. I called Hamburg Expressions and explained my situation, they were able to get me in the next day. From the time I arrived until my visit ended, my experience was amazing. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and kind. The atmosphere was relaxing and the space I was in was clean. I received a very thorough cleaning, I did not feel like they were rushing me out the door, like I have felt at other places. Even my 8 year old who was with me said, she wanted to go there too! I can definitely say I found my regular dentist, I scheduled my 6 month appointment, and can't wait to go back! I would highly recommend!

Most night guards, crowns, retainers , etc can be made without the need for traditional impression materials. The saying " a picture is worth a 1000 words" holds true when you see a leaking filling or a fractured tooth on the screen when a special intra-oral camera is used during the exam. Maybe best of all, dental injections can be avoided when cavities are diagnosed and treated early using the dental laser. Everyone in the office is knowledgeable and caring. She never pressures you into any treatment and listens to your concerns. I had several cosmetic issues I wanted corrected and a number of dentists throughout the years rolled their eyes at me like I was being so superficial. After getting my braces off over 10 years ago, I had number of yellow stains on my teeth that were very bothersome to me. Two previous dentists told me there was nothing I could do and I should have flossed better as a young teenager. The damage was done and I was stuck with these stains. Dr. Hayden was the first dentist who was willing to help, and not only that but she explained how simple it was to correct the problem (honestly, it took her 30 minutes). I've also had a problem with Novocaine wearing off on my upper row of teeth. Other dentists acted like I was faking the pain I was feeling. Dr. Hayden explained that it's not uncommon for some patients to metabolize the Novocaine faster than others. Whenever I'm in a procedure with her, she always checks on my comfort level and administers more Novocaine before the pain sets in. I liked her so much that I brought my four year old in to see her and he actually likes the dentist! Can you believe it? Also, when you refer a new patient, you get a set of professional grade teeth bleach for free! They are awesome! All of her bleaching procedures are done at cost and are shockingly inexpensive. Thanks to Dr. Hayden, I'm no longer afraid of the dentist and I'll be a patient with her until she retires!

I was apparently her first new patient and she took the time to explain what she was doing and why. This was probably the most amazing dental exam I've had in my life. My old office didn't even keep up with their X-rays (which I found out how overdue I was at this office) and they didn't seem to explain much or listen to my concerns. After that, Dr. Carmen said that my anxiety was annoying him, and that it was my fault that I was not sedated-- despite me following the procedure given to me at the pharmacy. So yeah, it could've gone better. I called later that afternoon to apologize. Everyone else who works there is truly a gem. Everyone there, except for Dr. Carmen, was understanding of my condition and was patient with me. This place could be a great place to have work done. Maybe I was just unlucky and caught Dr. Carmen on a bad day. Maybe give this place a chance. Although, if you suffer from mental illness, I would strongly encourage you to specifically ask for Dr. Weigel, or anyone who isn't Dr. Carmen.
