All the paperwork now is digital. The x-ray machine is new and fancy - spins around your head. There are free snacks and water in the waiting area! The meh: Multiple times I have gotten a filling here, only to have it fall out within a month. It has happened to a friend of mine as well. I don't know if they were using a certain polymer, but wasn't my favorite thing to have to reschedule follow up appointments. The good news is - they were always willing to fix it, and never charged me for those follow up appointments. If you have great dental hygiene, you'll never have this issue :-). I personally just don't know if I really want to return. Nothing bad, but it hasn't been great. They also double book one hygienist each day of the week so she's constantly between two rooms cleaning - just seems like whoever that is gets pretty stressed out! I would be too!

In addition, the cleaning was not thorough. So, I began looking again and I found Comfort Dentistry. I do have mild anxiety during procedures, and they claimed to be one of those offices that made things as relaxing as possible. I booked an appt, and have now been there for years. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I am taken back for my appointment within 5 minutes of my appt time. Only once have I had to wait longer, and it was about 20 minutes. My hygienist is wonderful and personable, and takes her time. I've become so comfortable with their manner, that I now bring my son with Autism to this office. He has anxiety and sensory issues, and they follow his lead in comfort. We started out just my hubby and me going, with kids at a pediatric dentist now, and the whole family goes. Oh, and once we had friends in from out of state and a crown fell off (or he had some kind of tooth issue). Hubby was waiting at the dentist's door when they opened that Monday morning, and they fixed it for him, no problem! Anytime we've had a procedure that had large out of pocket expenses, they worked with us on payments. The office is always really good about working with me about how to maximize our benefits so we pay as little out of pocket as necessary. Of course, I would never expect him to work for free, as it seems another reviewer seems to. I certainly don't work for free and I doubt she does either. I would highly recommend this dentist. I am so glad we found him.

Recently I had a cavity filled and had some trouble. She told me I needed a root canal. I was treated awful by a dentist here in Savannah and Marcie stayed in touch with me until things were right. I was lucky to find someone great in Savannah to o the root canal. But I appreciate Marcie and he helpfulness. I wood highly recommend her and her staff. They are awesome!

Went to Florence location for extraction of a loose tooth and an exam…read more Given a "treatment plan" for a tooth extraction, cleaning and repair of a cracked filling and advised my copay with insurance would be $362.80, which I paid. Now after 2 cleaning sessions and a very simple tooth extraction I have been billed an additional $657.00 with no advisement or explanation. Aspen is not a member of BBB. Many nationwide complaints. I am currently disputing the upcharge. I will contact my insurance company.

Aspen Dental had an appointment available at 10:30 which I jumped at. this was a complete waste of my time. it took 2 1/2 hours for a couple of X-rays and a brief exam. After messing with my mouth, my pain level was so severe I left crying. The only thing the Dr. would give me for pain was ibuprofen which I cannot take as I'm on meloxicam. I have a 6 hour drive home, can't eat or sleep, and can't get an appointment at home confirked as all of the dentists I called are all closed for the holiday. anyone who has ever had a severe toothache knows the intensity of the pain. I had a root canal 3 weeks ago and had an infection there. I started an antibiotic but developed the stomach flu so I couldn't keep anything down. I went several days without taking the drug until I was able to again. I believe that because of that, the infection never cleared up completely and starting up on a holiday weekend of course. I did ask for an antibiotic which the dentist agreed to. Im 66 years old, and a cancer patient. I believed that a doctor or dentist are there to help. all I wanted was to make me comfortable until I get home. they told me to take extra strength tylenol which is exactly what I've been doing which did nothing. i wasn't asking for a specific pain drug, just something for the next few days until I can try and get into a dentist. what complicates the matter is that we just sold our home, moved out of Illinois to a cottage in Michigan while we wait to move to South Carolina next month. I need to find a new dentist in Michigan to help me but can't schedule a new patient appointment because all the dental offices I called are closed until Tuesday. I'm desperate so I called every dentist I could find around our small town. that means I have to deal with this excruciating pain for who knows how long. I can't believe the lack of compassion to let someone suffer until who knows when. on top of everything, this was a substitute dentists as the normal dentist had a family emergency. Because of that, they couldn't take any insurance which I still don't understand. They only charged me their coupon special of $29 which I appreciated. what I just went thru did nothing for me. I can't believe they would allow me to suffer for not only the ride home, but until I can get a hold of a dentist next week. Now I understand the one and a half stars for this location. Avoid this location if at all possible.

I switched insurance last year and had to find a new dentist at least for a year. I'm very happy with the practice and don't plan on leaving now.
