Dave was phenomenal! My brother graduated with his MBA from Fullerton, so we visited. The family that lives in Nor Cal went to So Cal. Dave was so kind to all of us. There was a little one all the way to an 80 year old. First, he got great shots of the actual commencement. He got a perfect one of my brother crossing the stage. I'd never have that shot because we weren't close enough for it. While we moved towards the spot he first scouted, he asked us to excuse him and he scouted additional spots for photos. I then heard from David about 1 month out from the wedding date, asking for details regarding the photos we'd like to have taken. He asks for specifics in terms of family names, relationships, and if there are any tricky family situations he should avoid (an issue I, thankfully, didn't have to deal with but just an example of what a thoughtful and seasoned creator would remember to ask). The next time I spoke with David was two weeks out from the wedding. Together, we collaborated on a timeline from the beginning to end-of-day. We discussed getting ready pics, first look pics, family portraits, bouquet toss, etc. An hour later, David emailed me an outline I could follow so that I could maximize the time we had with him at the venue. The day of the wedding, David took the time to drive to the park where we planned our family portraits to be taken. David's creative eye found a beautiful spot that encompassed greenery with enough space for everyone to fit in. Unfortunately, there were sprinklers surrounding us, but David took out EACH and EVERY one. He also took the time to Photoshop my little sister throwing my veil in the air because we just couldn't quite time it out right. This right here must have been absolutely tedious, but David made mention of that. He jumped over rocks and waterfalls to get the best shot he could! He even drove us back to the venue so that we could save some time getting back.
