The only problem is I was not prescribed an amphetamine. She suddenly discontinued my medication and put it in my medical records I was non-compliant. I was then treated like a drug addict and criminal by a member of the front desk staff when I called to follow up. All Nicole had to do was google if Ritalin is an amphetamine. She had multiple opportunities to speak with me about my negative drug tests but chose to try and catch me in a "lie". At best this is human error, at worst this is plain negligence. If Nicole wasn't comfortable or familiar with prescribing ADHD medication, she shouldn't have taken me on a patient as I told her getting my ADHD treated was my main concern. I wasted a year of my life trying to get adequate treatment from Nicole Carr and she failed me. I now see Katie Padberg at Sunny Day Psychiatry who has been compassionate and never once made me feel like I was a druggie or "medication seeking" Stay away from Nicole Carr if you go here.

Now, there is no one can prescribe my daily Thyroid medications. Last time I saw my doctor was in May 2023. Then he left the facility and I immediately made an appointment with a new doctor. The closest option was March 2024, so I picked that date. Now, I ran out my daily meds already, and they refuse to prescribe them before seeing a new doctor. I have to take my Thyroid meds every day and they supposed to prescribe it until my annual check up. They do no care about patient care. I do not recommend this place.

I asked for confirmation and she only repeated my first name, which still did not sound correct. Upon being taken back to get my labs done she asked which arm I preferred. I wasn't sure and took about 5 seconds or less to think and she told me to "hurry up and pick one - there are people waiting to get their labs done in the waiting room". I was taken aback and so surprised by the rudeness I could only stare back and was barely able to get out "the right arm". She was wearing a mask and it was hard to understand her without seeing her face, but I could tell she never smiled with her eyes. The taking of the labs which is usually no big deal was replaced by a very painful experience. I've never hurt that badly before when taking labs. My arm is very sore and bruised. The first letter of my last name on the vial was covered up, so when trying to confirm it was correct I had to confirm but pointed out that part of my name was covered up and unreadable. I left feeling disappointed and saddened that someone would treat a patient this way. It may seem like a small thing, but for whatever reason it made me feel bad and makes me not want to return for fear of having the same person with the same experience.

That is pretty rare to experience at a doctor appointment. I think they even started my appointment 5 minutes before it was scheduled, so there was zero waiting time. Dr. Boutwell genuinely wants to get to know her patients, and even asked about my hobbies and general life, because she said she "likes to tie things together." I can say without a doubt no doctor has ever inquired about my general life ever before. She was very thorough in her questions, and offered explanations for every question I asked. She was very knowledgable and even threw out a few jokes - I have 100 bug bites currently after a recent trip, and she said "Apply this cream twice a day, and when you get to the 100th bite the first time, you'll probably be ready for round two." I don't know, I really appreciated that she seemed like a real person instead of someone just trying to get me out the door. I should also say, she spent 45 minutes talking with me. My previous doctor took about 7-10 minutes after I had waited over 35 minutes on average to see him.

Dr. Norfleet's nurse, Christie, is delightful, and does the weight, bp, temp . . . all those things that must be monitored and regulated. Yet, Dr. Norfleet is a personable and non-judgmental physician who is very encouraging related to lifestyle management and upkeeping good health. And she's funny and approachable, too. I am diligent about keeping her abreast of news or changes with my specialists. Everybody's gotta be onboard. I know people who are very fragmented with their physicians. Every doctor has their own little slot, and there's no sharing. Because the sharing must come from the patient. And these folks have suffered medically and physically for non-full disclosure. Not a good approach. Dr. Norfleet practices at the Central Medical Group (14th floor) in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Center for Advanced Medicine at Kingshighway Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway.

I have taken all kinds of medication, tried a chiropractor, acupuncture, etc. and nothing seemed to work. One of my co-workers recommended I try to get an appointment with Dr. Padda because he has a special technique that he does specifically for migraine headaches. Much to my surprise, I was able to get an appointment the very next day. The office was packed when I arrived but the staff were friendly and efficient. I had to wait about 15 minutes and they got me right in. Dr. Padda asked me tons of questions regarding the frequency of my headaches, severity, health history, etc. He recommended that we try an SPG - (Sphenopalatine Ganglion Block). Of course, I had no idea what that was so he explained it and it sounded EXTREMELY scary and intimidating. However, given all the pain and discomfort I have went through, i decided to try it. I came back a few days later for the procedure. it was quick and painless and for the best news - it totally worked! I still see Dr. Padda on a regular basis for follow up's and sometimes get Botox, which also helps my headaches immensely. He is a life saver for me. Highly recommend Dr. Padda - If he was able to help my headaches, I am sure he can help treat any type of pain.
