I had an amazing experience at this golf course! From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch. The course itself is beautifully maintained, with pristine fairways and fast, true greens that made every hole fun and challenging. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. The pace of play was perfect, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed but still professional. My friend who's a beginner at golfer said he wanted to go to a course but the only times he can go is after work. Luckily I found out this course has lights when it gets dark so we can play later in the day! Par 62 course - the greens have a bunch of divots and bumps, a lot of the tee boxes are pretty dirty (maybe have some sand in the carts or sand at each tee box so people can fill divots), fairways are next to each other so keep your head on a swivel, I feel like pace of play could have been better (there was a group of older men playing each hole at the back end of the tee box in front of us when they couldn't hit the ball well). We started at 3:45pm and ended around 7:10pm for $40 each. You can't find much courses to play at night in OC - so I can't complain! read more

This is a very fun small course for beginners, or someone who wants to work on their short game. The greens were very nice and fast, but the tee boxes were kind of beat up a little bit. The pace of play was about four hours, so we got held up a little bit for such a small course. The food and drinks were really good, and they offer a really cool members program. The service in the pro shop was nice and quick! I'm not sure of the cost of the round because my buddy purchased it, but he said it was a good price. It also had lights on the course so I believe you can play at night, so I will definitely come back for that. read more

Solid local golf course at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. I joined as a member so I can get unlimited buckets of balls at the driving range. The membership I got also allows you to get unlimited balls at Huntington Beach range too. I'm a basic golfer, so this course is more than good enough for me. Only gripe I have is the driving range: There's so much damn noise when you're trying to concentrate. People yap so much around here. Huge Vietnamese population, so you'll be hearing a lot of convos in Vietnamese. To top it all off, employees keep driving through here with gas motor carts. That includes the caged cart that collects balls from the driving range. If you need peace and quiet, this isn't it. But it's convenient. And good for uncompetitive golfers like me. read more

I like the challenge and offerings of this course. Since I live across the street, it's very convenient. The only negative, it's pretty expensive, even for walking, for a par 62 course. Either get twilight tee times or a golf now hot deal and it's worth it. I wish I could play here more. The golf range is okay. Staff are chill. Carts are clean. Greens aren't great, lots of divots and bumps when I was there. Good combination of yardages for a smaller course, and challenging hazards. Some of the par 4 holes double back, so lots of "fores!" And also lack of "fores". Walking and cart mixed together. Saw a few entitled people, which isn't the gc fault, but expect that. To me, not great value to play during the day. I think it would be better value to do walking night golf since they seem to have decent lighting. The squirrels here come up close begging for food while you're waiting at the tee. There are some fearless ducks sitting in front of your tee taunting you . There are definitely places where someone could slice/hook it on to the main street or parked cars. read more

The course could be maintenance better and the fairways are narrow, but it works. Overall, this is a very laid back course if you want to play golf on a budget. $46 for a Sunday round on an executive course with no cart is just too pricey, especially given the condition of the place. The driving range is a joke. They may as well put in astroturf since it's mostly dirt with tiny patches of actual grass. The sand traps are rock hard. The tee box placement is all over the board. The greens are filled with ball marks. The fairways are green enough and the surface of the greens are all right but no one repairs their ball marks and, clearly, there is not enough staff to do each day. Very slow play, no marshal to be found. I'd much rather play Newport Beach for half the price or hit a full par 72 course for that money. read more

It's been a while since I've played and for two reasons. They have drastically increased the price and the field was in need to maintenance. I recently played again for $38 online deal which is still high relative to other courses which offer better pricing and much better courses. The last time I played was at night and it was not a good experience. There was not enough lighting making it very difficult to play even with glow in the dark balls. On this day, and they have made upgrades, but the course was so lit. Not only the greens but the whole fairway. The course was well maintained, green and not brown. This is an easy and quick course to play if you just want to get a few hours of play before work. If they continue with their upkeep and possibly lower the price a bit, I'll be back. read more

Really fun executive course. The bang for your buck is incredible as most of this course is really well maintained. Longest round I've had is 4 hours being behind a family of 4 with 2 young kids. Tee boxes are pretty good, the fairways are well maintained and the greens are good and challenging. Only gripe due to the affordability of the course some groups lack etiquette (divots on the greens, carts driving close to greens, bunkers not being raked). They have marshals that are around and do a good job informing groups about these things but understand they can't catch everybody not respecting the course. read more

This driving range is close to our home, and the membership fee is reasonable. This is not a fancy driving range, but it is functional. Golf balls are usually available for us, unless we go at the busy time of the day when they can run out temporarily. There are a few things we dislike about this driving range. First of all, they're not many places to sit for elderly folks like us. They're are a few benches for the patrons, but they're usually occupied, and they also appear fragile and unstable. Most of the wooden benches are rotten, and bends down when you sit on them. There are also many young people just hanging out at the driving range, talking out loud, laughing, and using profanities, which can be very disturbing. Last but not least, some patrons smoke cigarettes nearby, which cause my asthma to act up. We have complained multiple times about this to the golf shop, but we have not noticed any changes made thus far. read more

Do not expect integrity or honesty out of the cart guys or dudes at the shop. Left my range finder on the cart at 10pm and pulled it into the garage right when the lights went out, called the next day and they said they didn't have it. So the crew cleaning the carts at the end of the night and/or the crew the next morning never saw it? A buddy had a similar experience of one taken from his cart while in the restroom and somehow it was in the employees desk not the lost and found...... This review is for their wedding reception hall NOT the golf course. Definitely check out David L Baker for your reception if you're ballin' on a budget. They were able to fit our budget well within reason and had all the amenities that my, now, wife was looking for. They were great at communicating with us throughout and helped us plan this stressful, but joyous(!) time. Amber gave us the first walkthrough and Julia helped us in more detail afterwards. Julia did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator. IF anything terrible happened during the wedding... I definitely never found out! So good job to both of them I guess! One of the worst courses I have ever played in my life and I've played a lot of courses. Half the course is dead pan like the driving range (which has zero grass). They stack the times making it slow. The bunkers are rock hard with almost no sand. The greens were the worst thing I've ever seen. They have a bird problem where these geese eat up the greens and poop everywhere. Even all the lakes are full of algae. Place would be fun if they actually kept it up. I'm not at all a good golfer, but this course has the absolute worst pace of play I've ever experienced. It is an executive course par 62. The course itself isn't terrible but waiting 15 minutes at every hole just to tee off is insane especially when no hole is longer than 300. I asked an elderly couple playing behind me if it's always like this and they smiled and said "Yup" I give it 2 stars instead of one because the course itself isn't bad, they have a cart service on the course, and the hole design isn't terrible. Let me start by saying that I am not a good golfer, and by no way am I trying to compare this golf course to a really nice one. I was excited to play here. It was relatively easy to get a tee time and ~$60 for 18 holes plus a cart is a fair/good price. The course was decently maintained. Fairways were good, rough could get dicey and had more hard dirt spots than I'd prefer. Greens needed help. You could see where the last few hole placements were as the grass never healed and people seemed to not fix their divots which made putting difficult. It's an executive course but a long executive course so you get to use all of your clubs. The first major concern is this course is tight! Narrow fairways and holes are very close together. So it's very routine to land in the wrong fairway or hear someone yell "Fore!" No worries there as I stated I am not that good and was just as guilty as any other golfer there. When we showed up at the first tee the range guy was super polite and gave us the narrow course and look out for others talk. Seemed very lighthearted. But two holes in, they are complaining about our pace of play (not bothering to take into account the times we had to wait to tee off because some other group was hitting out of our fairway, etc. They asked us to let a group play through and we're super polite about it. They let us practice on a nearby green that wasn't in use and we were happy to do so. (Of course it didn't help that the group was just as bad as us and we ended up waiting about 20 min!). In retrospect it was the wrong hole to ask us to wait on because they had not finished the previous hole and it was a par 3. The right move would have been let them catch up (probably after our drives on the par 4 and let them play through. This poor decision by the range staff set us on a poor trajectory for the rest of the day. There were tons of delays with people just driving on to your fairway to look for their ball as you're about to hit without waiting or looking. And it you go on other fairways, you had better watch out as most golfers will hit anyways. I have to say that most courses I have played the golfers are actually the friendliest people and that was not the case here. Then another group needed to play through. And let me say that absolutely yes this group should have. They were only 3 people and were way better than us. It amazes me it took them so long to catch us. Also, we marked our balls and let them hit and they were through that par 3 in a few min. And to acknowledge nice people they apologized to us for delaying us while letting them play through. Unnecessary but respected. They were very polite. The range guy however was a complete AH. Instead of the polite way he asked us to let the previous group play through. He was quite rude in the way he told us to mark our balls and get out of the way. Anyways we continue playing and there's some other jerk golfer behind us that seems to be playing by himself and would just drive his cart right up to our tee box while we are in the act of hitting and stare at us, never saying a word. Then, while we were walking on the green of a short par 3 to putt out, this (word edited) hits a shot onto the fringe of the green (feet away from me) and didn't yell fire or anything. First the nerve of this guy* to hit at a short green he expected to reach while 4 people were on it... mind blowing. The fact he hit it and didn't warn anyone made me want to be violent. Or throw his ball in a water feature. Instead we maintained our composure and putted out and went to our next hole. But between the terrible play, tightly packed holes, poorly manicured course and the rude staff and worse golfers, I'm happy to never try that course again. That said the lady working the snack shop was an absolute gem and super nice lady. Figured I would end on a positive note read more

Great place to go golfing at night. At night, they have large night lights that illuminate the course. Green conditions could be a bit nicer. But overall, for the price, you can't beat I highly recommend picking up some glow in the dark balls in case you get caught in the dark. Lots of fun read more

After reading some of the reviews I was expecting a slow round of golf with a poorly kept course. But I will say that I had the best time golfing with my three other friends and found the pace to be right about 4 hours, on a Saturday. My husband and I utilized this venue for our vow renewal and all I can say is wow- I can't imagine having had it anywhere else. Starting with the staff, we worked with Julia as our event coordinator and she was wonderful. I had many many questions and requests, and she was always prompt in answering and facilitating my inquiries. They truly work with you in ensuring you have everything you need. For example we were granted the ability to bring and park our trailer there for the purposes of getting ready and having a spot for our infant godson to nap/a place for our dog to stay before and after our vow renewal ceremony were approved. And yes, our dog was allowed to be in the outdoor ceremony, no problems at all. She assisted in coordinating some vendors and worked well with all our outside vendors. Spencer was the bartender for the night, and he KILLED IT. It was just him behind the bar with our 120 person guest count, and everyone had wonderful things to say about him. My husband and I also visited the venue several times before the date and he always took time to chat with us and answer all of our questions. We had a rowdy crew (many service industry folks, if you know you know) and he handled them perfectly. There was also a small serving staff who were wonderful throughout the night. The pricing is transparent and we were able to make changes to our contract, as we first did not commit to the ceremony space but were able to add it after. I highly suggest using their vendor for draping curtains in the bar area- they were also a 10/10. This venue was perfect for us, and has a great staff all around. Recently came here to the driving range to hit some balls with my friends. First the positives. Yellow range balls, a great invention that lets me see my shots better in the dark. Something I haven't seen in other ranges which definitely is a plus. This location also isn't the busiest at night during the weekdays which makes finding a spot easy and stress free. Now the negatives. The tee mats are in horrid condition. Most are pretty beat up and not in a good state. The tee box areas are also not guarded at all, so any stray sideways balls are coming right at you. Also the grounds themselves were not very well kept, seemed like a lack of staff or a lack of cleanliness. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap place to play and relax on a night after work, this place is the spot. With food places around, you can have a good time here. I look forward to coming back and trying their courses out outside the driving range as I heard good things about the courses. read more

Overall, the course was not bad I played it under three hours. Par 62 were I shot a 72 for the first time. Never saw the cart girl and the pace of play... people there didn't understand but you can't blame the course for that. Probably need a Marshall out there. Otherwise everything was green and the greens were pretty good rolling about a 10 to 11 Teebox are pretty good a little muddy after the rain.. the best part of the golf course I do believe was the lights at night ....well lit other than the last hole. I played this community golf course for the very first time. The carts included was about $35. My father got a senior discount. It's a decent golf course with nice practice range and relatively well maintained course. They just sand sprayed the entire greens. It was very difficult to put. Most of the courses were short and wide open. I only lost one ball. It's good place for a weekend golfer. read more

DLB is my go to for twilight golfing. This course is well maintained and is great for beginners to mid handicap players.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. I have inquired about hosting our ceremony in September 2023 to October 2023 for our wedding ceremony and was taken care by Amber the sale director. Who directed me to Julia the event planner. It didn't seem like Julia is in house with David Baker. It seems like she has other venues to manage. It was hard to reach her directly even though numbers were provided. Not very happy with their service. Booked our wedding ceremony with David L. Baker for March 2024. Initially when booking with Amber the sale director, she was bit flexible with our time. We could have had our ceremony at 2-3pm as long we clean and finish our ceremony by 3pm. However, on our day of wedding there was 35% chance of rain. Julia did contacted me about renting a tent but we decided to chance it. End up raining a 100% at ceremony and we were unable to host our ceremony. Deep down I know I wasn't going to get my money back. I have contacted Julia about possible refund not the full amount I was expecting but some good customer service because I know they did set up the tables and chairs for us that day. We even spoke on the phone on our day of wedding, she said she can probably give us something like a discount to the golf course. I waited for a full month for Julia to get back to me about it. She didn't even bother to follow up or reach out to me. I have to tried to call several times with no luck of reaching Julia. Finally email her and she finally responds. And her response was, "Ceremony day as requested up until I was notified 15 minutes prior to the start time of your contracted ceremony time that you would like to cancel. Due to the fact that we had staff on hand as well as a chair rental ordered and set out we are not able to issue a refund. If you have any further questions or would like to talk to my director Amber." If you want terrible service and get brush off? Then book your event with them. read more
