    Our wedding colors were black and white so having pink and purple lighting was not what we wanted

    If you're considering booking your wedding here, I highly recommend doing thorough research and speaking with multiple couples who have gotten married at this venue before signing anything. While the space itself is beautiful, our experience behind the scenes was far from what was promised -- and it added unnecessary stress to what should have been a joyful day. We were required to use certain in-house and preferred vendors, including lighting, sound, bar, and catering. Unfortunately, the lighting vendor we were forced to use was unprofessional and unprepared. Even after we paid extra for their "premium" lighting package, the technician did not know how to operate the system, could not get the lights to the agreed-upon color, left without telling anyone, and was allegedly fired during our event. As a result, all of our reception photos were washed in the wrong color lighting, something we had specifically worked to avoid. Other issues included: * Poor communication from the venue staff leading up to and during the event * Inadequate staffing for the dinner service, causing food to be served over an hour late and forcing our wedding planner to step in and help set tables * The bar staff being aggressive with guests * Disorganization in managing the timeline and vendor coordination After the wedding, the venue offered partial compensation -- but only if we signed an NDA. We declined, because we believe couples deserve to know what happened so they can make an informed decision. I wish we had known about similar experiences other couples have had here before booking. A wedding is a major investment, and for the amount we paid, we expected professionalism, reliability, and care. Unfortunately, we did not receive that here.

    Recently was invited to a grand party for a friend's anniversary where the couple were renewing their vows with a beautiful garden ceremony followed by a huge sit down dinner . Very impressed by the large indoor space and multiple ingress and egress and easy access . It has an exclusive feel I think because it's located on the far corner of Los Cab Racquet Club . Also like the immediate outdoor space where they held the ceremony. I can imagine other outdoor events that could be planned in this space .

    Very nice venue. I had my wedding at their Terrace and it was the first wedding held at that balloon room in last Sept. I love the space and atmosphere there but had many troubles during my happy day. They did not provide plates and utensils and blamed on their in-house catering. My wedding coordinator had to deal with on-site supervisor and had such a hard time to get what we need. Is that ridiculous without utensils for a party? The food was not warm-up well. I picked the most expensive course on their in-house catering and the food tasted really good when we went to the food tasting BUT not the same on my special day. They had no high-chair, so I had to bring my own in. The elevators did not work at the end of party -around 10pm. I was very happy when seeing the beautiful venues on project paper and booked it right away even it still under construction. But, I was really unhappy on my day, they were not professional even my wedding was the first event here.

    The Timeless Venue is the place to be to have your event!! It is a hidden gem. I can put this venue on the level of an extravagant turnkey home. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS!! MY experience being an event planner, decorator, and caterer look for many things in a venue prior to me referring my clients or even myself to venues. This venue has exceeded my expectations. I cannot say enough about this place. The Event Manager Irene is thebomb.com!!! Irene was always accessible, approachable, more than willing to work with you regarding your planning and ideas, a woman of her word, timely, very resourceful, and more than willing to accommodate myself and my team anyway she could. What I loved the most about Irene is with my 2 events I had to deal with difficult clients, Irene remained professional, and she had so much patience with them making her a remarkable person!! I would highly recommend you asking for Irene to be your go to person when booking this venue to assist you with the planning of your event!! They were very easy to work with and maintained great communication throughout the whole process, which made planning so much less stressful. Unfortunately the food was not authentic, I wish they had kept the chefs when they bought the Seafood World restaurant. I had been in this White Palace 2 many times before when it was called Emerald restaurant. This venue is the best, it was really a beautiful night club serving Chinese food. They had New Years eve party every year and I will miss these forever. So if you are looking for a restaurant for your wedding reception, this is it. Most people are not that fussy, I notice people enjoy the ambiance and the beautiful décor for a memorable experience, I speak from my experience, my sister had her big birthday party and everybody I asked just loved the food. VACF requested a donation of $60 pp. The menu was very short, not your usual wedding menu. 1) The appetizers just had some chewy seafood, fried dough and oranges not the usual cold cuts and other delicacies. 2) The only good dish was the fried prawns in special sauce over noodles. 3) They did not even have a beef dish, the tofu was so bland I could not eat it. 4) Hainan chicken was so chewy, very fatty/greasy and bland the green sauce that came with it was also bland. 5) The fish was filet not whole fish like in many weddings I went to but it was tasty. 6) The fried rice was so bland nobody ate it, don't they try to put a little more soy sauce, there was hardly any eggs or char siu, not even enough onions for flavor. When my sister had her birthday party, she ordered the full wedding menu w lobster and only 3 out of 10 dishes were tasty. I'm writing this for my sister and cousin to take note, I will not attend my cousin 3rd live concert at WP, their sound system was loud and had echos, the sound is better here at WP2 but the food is the same recipes, not delicious and not worth the $150 I usually paid. I will of course attend next year VACF to support cancer survivors including myself. This year VACF throw a big party here. Dr Bich Lien, the founder husband just passed away of cancer, my husband just had a craniotomy so I feel her pain, she is a wonderful oncologist and accomplished humanitarian. She organized this annual event, she gave a heartfelt speech to open the reunion, God bless her, we had photobooths, raffles, entertainment with a show w singers, karaoke and an amazing ballerina. I could not believe I won a raffle prize. I'm looking forward to this annual event, the food to me was not important,it's the ambiance and the vibes that count and that added 1 star to my review.

Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth made a difficult time so much easier, and I am beyond grateful for the experience. The venue itself is stunning, elegant, light, airy, and uplifting, which was exactly what we wanted for this occasion. The room's clean, timeless aesthetic required little decoration, yet it felt warm and intimate. The table spacing was perfect, offering both comfort and closeness for our guests. The accommodations were top-notch. The team provided a large screen and laptop for our video montage, a cable to play personal music through the in-house speaker system, as well as a microphone and podium. They even supplied an easel for our loved one's portrait and an additional table for photographs, ensuring that every personal touch was seamlessly integrated. The linen selection was extensive, but we opted for classic all-white linens, which complemented the elegant setting beautifully. The service was impeccable. Ana and Bryana were not only responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating, but also genuinely kind and authentic, a quality that extended to the entire staff. They ensured that everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The water and tea pitchers were always full, plates were cleared discreetly, and the overall hospitality was second to none. The food was exceptional, our guests couldn't stop raving about it! While everything was incredibly delicious, the Waldorf salad, fresh vegetables, warm rolls, chicken and cookies were particular standouts. It's almost impossible to find a meal of this caliber for just $30 per person, making it not only a beautiful event but an outstanding value. Logistics were effortless. The club's entrance was easily accessible, parking was a breeze, and the staff even allowed me early access to set up table centerpieces and our photograph table. Set-up and breakdown were seamless, handled efficiently and professionally. If I had to describe this experience in one word: EXCEPTIONAL! The level of care, service, and quality provided by Mile Square Golf Course exceeded every expectation.     Our family recently celebrated our son's HS graduation party at XO Lounge. We had a wonderful…read morebeginning-to-end experience that included incredibly responsive, thorough, and professional communication with Jamie--the main contact in charge of booking, planning, and operational oversight. On the day of the event, Hope, Hai, Lola (bartender) and the remaining staff were unbelievably helpful, accommodating--and integral to our efficient set-up and smooth execution of a successful celebration. XO Lounge is a very posh venue with modern décor. The nightclub vibe and setup provided the core foundation--that minimized decorative needs for our graduation-themed event. Our event hosted approximately 150 guests--that we comfortably housed in the smaller nightclub event area. Despite opting out of seated dining, our area easily accommodated our guests with the use of the booths and lounge-style sofa set-up for central-space seating. We still had surplus space leftover--that was allocated for the dance floor and bar area. The nightclub further opens into an enclosed courtyard--allowing for additional cocktail tables, bar stools, and lounge-roaming for our guests. Our party featured a standard photo-booth setup with an 8-ft props table--as well as a 360-spinning video-booth in the front entryway lobby area (just to the left of entrance). Our 360-video-booth included an inflatable enclosure--that successfully fit in the entryway alcove. Our rented XO Lounge space features a stage with a floor-to-ceiling TV-grid. This large multi-screen TV--along with dozens of TVs lining the entire room-walls--cycled a slideshow of our graduate's photos throughout the evening. XO Lounge further features a full PA system, DJ plug-ins for surround sound (you must provide your own DJ/music/equipment), full nightclub equipment (e.g. spinning disco-ball light machines, fog machines, laser strobing, etc.), full bar & bartender staff, etc. I LOOVED that XO included all the needed tables of various lengths and sizes--with fitted fabric *tablecloths* included. Fabric tablecloths may seem like a minimal feature, but fitted cloth coverings elevate a sophisticated aesthetic while alleviating the patron from the added costs for these supplies. Hope oversaw our function and was so attentive--always offering to help with literally *anything*--to reduce stress for the hosts (I really appreciated that!). The venue was surprisingly affordable--with a nominal outside-catering fee; the staff were professional and delightful; and the party space and outdoor-courtyard areas fit our guests, photo/video-booths, food vendors, Welcome table, Sweets table, and largescale Balloon Arch. XO Lounge features one-stop-shop booking and planning services for all party needs, (i.e. catering, decoration, DJ, photo-booth vendors, etc.)--though we did not partake of these additional offerings. Hosting an event on this scale is stressful (IYKYK), but this venue and staff minimized the stress and streamlined our experience for a fantastic celebration. Our family would definitely book with XO lounge again for future event planning needs--and would highly recommend to our friends, family, and others. Our guests had the BEST time; and we had a GREAT PARTY celebrating our newest grad!

The attention to details, executing on the vision were flawless.- the DJ playing a mixture of hip hop, R&B, and EDM. The microphone for karaoke. The cake, the balloon setup, the dessert station, the video/photo gallery, the Photo Booth. The collaboration to bring smashed burger (forgot their name) was well seasoned and juicy, and cooked to order at the club! Wow I can go on and on! But mostly the stress free element needs to be highlighted over and over (as my husband can be a lot to handle, I know that from experience) Core memory! LFG
