My wife & I hosted our joint 50th birthday at Timeless Venues (Terrace package: open bar + photo booth) and it was an absolute win. The venue is seriously beautiful--the fireplace + lounge area feels upscale, and the nighttime pool view is chef's kiss. Tons of parking, a private room to get ready, and plenty of space (we had 70+ guests and it still felt roomy). Shoutout to the dance floor: inviting, spacious, and the perfect size for our group once the open bar inspired some "creative" dancing. One suggestion: maybe close off the stairs to encourage elevator use... because a few of our "extra celebratory" guests somehow didn't realize the elevator existed. Even though I had visited this charming location on several occasions, I had never taken the time to explore the enchanting terrace option; I had only enjoyed the beautiful outdoor spaces. The view from the terrace was nothing short of magnificent, offering a stunning panorama that served as the perfect backdrop for such a momentous event. While organizing the ceremony, our communication became somewhat fragmented, with multiple individuals reaching out to the same point of contact. To simplify the coordination process, we all decided that it was best to delegate the responsibility of communications to our class president. This decision ensured that messages were streamlined, preventing any confusion and allowing everything to progress smoothly. With the guidance of our planner and the venue's coordinator, the ceremony unfolded beautifully. As I entered the elegantly adorned space, I was impressed to see that it comfortably accommodated 250 guests comfortably. The culinary offerings were exceptional, with a diverse array of delicious options, and the drinks selection was even more impressive, adding to the festive atmosphere. Given the value of the package we selected, I was pleasantly surprised at how seamlessly everything transpired on the day of the event. From a planning perspective, coordinating aspects like decor and seating arrangements proved to be a bit of a challenge at times. However, the coordinator was incredibly helpful, making the process very accessible and ensuring that every concern we had was promptly addressed, which alleviated much of the stress involved in planning such a significant occasion. The venue offers 3 different packages all at different pricing. You can choose between asian, Mediterranean, and Mexican. We went with the Mediterranean option. If you're considering booking your wedding here, I highly recommend doing thorough research and speaking with multiple couples who have gotten married at this venue before signing anything. While the space itself is beautiful, our experience behind the scenes was far from what was promised -- and it added unnecessary stress to what should have been a joyful day. We were required to use certain in-house and preferred vendors, including lighting, sound, bar, and catering. Unfortunately, the lighting vendor we were forced to use was unprofessional and unprepared. Even after we paid extra for their "premium" lighting package, the technician did not know how to operate the system, could not get the lights to the agreed-upon color, left without telling anyone, and was allegedly fired during our event. As a result, all of our reception photos were washed in the wrong color lighting, something we had specifically worked to avoid. Other issues included: * Poor communication from the venue staff leading up to and during the event * Inadequate staffing for the dinner service, causing food to be served over an hour late and forcing our wedding planner to step in and help set tables * The bar staff being aggressive with guests * Disorganization in managing the timeline and vendor coordination After the wedding, the venue offered partial compensation -- but only if we signed an NDA. We declined, because we believe couples deserve to know what happened so they can make an informed decision. I wish we had known about similar experiences other couples have had here before booking. A wedding is a major investment, and for the amount we paid, we expected professionalism, reliability, and care. Unfortunately, we did not receive that here. read more

Brides + grooms, beware! While this space may seem equipped for hosting events, save yourself the additional headache when planning your wedding. They are not ready. My husband and I booked with this venue space in January of 2023 for our June 2024 wedding. Throughout the process, there were some red flags that popped up like changing pricing or what they were saying to us from week to week but we genuinely thought the place was gorgeous and what we were looking for with the inside ballroom and outdoor space so we figured it was a pay off as it was more of a newer space. Closer to our wedding date, we were introduced to the wedding coordinator that was hired through their staff who was sweet but there definitely seemed to be a lot of miscommunications between the owners and the coordinator herself. She did try her best to accommodate us and our wedding. But it was obvious that the venue did not have nearly enough knowledge about working with vendors, hiring appropriate amounts of staff for large scale events, or providing appropriate documentation when requested. Lo and behold, come time for our wedding, one week prior, we were told we had to move it to a COMPLETELY NEW SPACE. In one week's time. Because they were not able to host our wedding there anymore. During this entire process of moving the wedding and even in the subsequent months after as my husband and I reached out to them, the owners of the venue and sports center, though saying they were sorry for what we went through and that they would never wish this on a bride (yeah me too), they never truly took accountability or ownership for their role in the entire disaster of our wedding getting moved so last minute. Their mismanagement left us with a huge financial burden and time that we will never get back with our friends and family in the week leading up to our wedding. We are very lucky that our dream day turned out the way it did thanks to the kindness and hardwork of our new space and our sweet vendors. It is becoming more and more clear that there have been issues with other brides as well as people who have tried to book with this venue but were met with poor communication and poor experiences. Long story short: * Unorganized and ill-prepared for weddings that require the coordination of different vendors and timelines in a timely and efficient manner * Lack of professionalism and honestly courtesy * Lack of communication and transparency * Inconsistency with pricing or what they agree upon Do yourself a favor. It's one of the biggest days of your life. Save yourself the trouble and don't book it here. Find a place you trust that will do everything in their power to make your day special. Please do your research before booking here. Venue has a history of cancelling weddings, the week of. They were booking weddings without proper permits. In doing so they would cancel weddings that they booked months prior. Venue manager is not on the premises on wedding days because "she doesn't work on weekends" which is ironic for being in the wedding industry. All the in house vendors that we used had some type of issue and the venue tried to blame us for it. Even though we were not allowed to hire outside vendors. With all the issues from the in house vendors, we were forced to extend our wedding an extra hour which obviously came from our wallets with no reimbursement. Any vendors that we hired we met with pushback from the venue. For example our ceiling draping vendor. Our vendor was forced to use their scissor lift because of "permit restrictions" even though he had his own. When our vendor got to the site the lift was out of battery which kept resetting to ground level when being used. Venue kept rushing our vendor and said we will have to charge you for staying open if you don't finish on time. After our vendor was finished the venue said he has to redo it because the draping was blocking the cameras. Isn't that something that the venue should have told us before he started putting on the draping? After the draping was finished the venue went behind our backs and talked to our vendor to keep the draping up permanently for the cost of my wife and I. This was only one of our vendors as well. There was issues with lights, food, and bar to name a few other ones. We were emailed after our wedding for apologies, admitting fault for vendors, and reimbursement. We got married in May and till this day we have received nothing. Also couples are reaching out to us and saying timeless is deleting their reviews on Yelp and Google! Be careful everyone. read more

My fiancé and I really wanted to like this place. On paper, Timeless Venues seems amazing-- however, our experience was anything but that. Before booking a tour, we received the wedding packages available. However, we weren't able to receive a personal proposal/quote, because we were told we could discuss catering options only during the tour (which we thought was strange). However, we continued on. Looking back, we actually didn't even really discuss catering options in detail during the tour since we were sent the catering packages after the tour anyway. Unsure why they couldn't just send them in the first place so we could receive a proposal before the tour to get a better estimate of cost beforehand. Firstly, booking a tour here was already difficult. We booked a date, got a call just a few hours before our scheduled time, then were told our tour was cancelled because of a tournament held at their sport sites that entire week. Why confirm our appointment for that week if it wasn't possible in the first place (which was booked several days in advance), and why call us only a few hours before to let us know of the cancellation? However, because we were still interested, we booked another tour for the following week. When we arrived to check-in for the tour, the room was filled with several tiny flies. My fiancé pointed this out and noted that it wouldn't be a good first impression to both guests and ourselves. Before the tour started, we noticed that Irene asked us questions we already confirmed beforehand while booking the tour (e.g., asking us which venues we wanted to tour). She guided us through and we toured both the terrace and the garden/court area and truthfully, both areas were modern and appealing. However, the garden/court area absolutely do NOT resemble the photos included in the wedding packages they send out, so if you're expecting that in person, do not get your hopes up. We understand that decorations would need to be accommodated/paid for, however, the area itself was not even close to what was picture. You'd have to completely transform the area to get even remotely to what was advertised. Despite all of this, we were still willing to make it work somehow. However, after the tour is when it got worse. Be prepared for several underlying fees that they do not inform you of prior to the tour. We were sent the wedding package again to review and Irene made her own edit on it and included that the ceremony fee would be an additional $1,500. Additionally, you're required to pay to use their in-house light/sound system, with the standard package starting at $1,700. They do not allow the use of outside equipment. One thing that we were made aware of before the tour was the requirement of a professionally licensed day-of coordinator, however, even that seemed pretty excessive and continued to increase the cost. We were promised a proposal/quote two days after the tour, and we did not hear from Irene for several days after. When she finally did reach out, she notified us that she was out on bereavement those days. We were willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, because we understand life happens, and again, she promised that we would receive an emailed proposal "tomorrow". It's been weeks since then, and we have not received the proposal nor an email/text from Irene since. Overall, the process of considering and communicating Timeless Venues has not been welcoming. We really tried to like this place, and it's unfortunate, because the wedding package proposes a seemingly dreamy venue, but our experience fell very short of that. We're glad we booked a different venue, because we expect that the lack of communication and professionalism would continue into the wedding planning process here. We do not recommend working with this place. read more

Very nice venue. I had my wedding at their Terrace and it was the first wedding held at that balloon room in last Sept. I love the space and atmosphere there but had many troubles during my happy day. They did not provide plates and utensils and blamed on their in-house catering. My wedding coordinator had to deal with on-site supervisor and had such a hard time to get what we need. Is that ridiculous without utensils for a party? The food was not warm-up well. I picked the most expensive course on their in-house catering and the food tasted really good when we went to the food tasting BUT not the same on my special day. They had no high-chair, so I had to bring my own in. The elevators did not work at the end of party -around 10pm. I was very happy when seeing the beautiful venues on project paper and booked it right away even it still under construction. But, I was really unhappy on my day, they were not professional even my wedding was the first event here. read more

I've been trying to get a proposal from Irene and the team for about 3 weeks now. I've called multiple times emailed multiple times seems like none cares to respond. They're not upfront about their costs, they don't want to share all the extra charges that are not included in the venue rental. But they just keep asking me to come in for a tour. Why would I travel all the way to see the venue if I don't know the total price or what's really included? The one time the phone was answered I was told av and lighting is a separate package and requested that to be sent to me. Followed up couple times but gave up since no one responded. We recently attended a vow renewal party at this venue. The event was extremely well organized, with sumptuous decorations, amazing ambiance, delicious food, spectacular lighting and great entertainment. The venue is large with high ceilings and has flexible areas for staging multiple themes. Despite last minute rain, the event staff was able to keep approximately 300 guests entertained with continuous appetizers service and an open bar with a good assortment of mixed drinks and wine. As soon as the skies cleared up, the staff expediently dried the outdoor seats and guests were invited to witness the vow renewal ceremony which took place in wondrous pomp and circumstances. We were then treated to a lavish dinner and spread of assorted dessert and all night dancing with famous entertainers backed up by great musicians and sound systems. Welcome this new large event venue to Fountain Valley! It comes with a beautiful outdoor area, which has a big stage at one end. The outdoor area is big enough for a big tent if one opts for that. Usually, this type of event venue would be tucked in a shopping strip mall, but this one has its own separate area with lots of parking. So, I didn't feel like fighting for parking with other shoppers or walking through shops to get to the venue. Could be perfect for a red-carpet event. The event I went to had amazing decor. I am sure the 20+ foot high ceiling could easily accommodate any crazy decor ideas. However, it was built out of an existing enclosed basketball arena so it's not like a new castle or building specifically built for events. But that's cool too. read more
