His bedside manner is not the greatest. 2/3 of the way through and he cuts me so badly that the blood won't stop pooling in my mouth. At this point he's in and out of the room, I assume with other patients. I have to communicate with the assistant using the note function on my phone to let her know I cannot hold anymore blood in my mouth. He finally comes back. Informs me that if the bleeding doesn't stop I'll have to go to the hospital. Then complains (jokes?) that I ruined his Friday night. This went on for hours. I did not get charged for the butchering (gee thanks) and received 2 follow up phone calls for two days after. 3 weeks later the wound isn't healed yet. Accidents happen, but this turned into a nightmare. I tried to see if I was overreacting, but my insurance carrier assured me this was abnormal and worth reporting and filing a complaint. I had one appointment prior and that was uneventful, besides the pressure to have the extraction, which i should have denied. Tried to go for a deep cleaning and had to cancel due to childcare. No other appointments available for months. Probably for the best.

We saw Dr. Tahari today and she was so gentle, friendly, and calm. Then April, hygienist, did the cleaning and flouride treatment and was also very gentle and friendly. I was so surprised at how calm and forthcoming my daughter was during the entire visit. My daughter's first visit back in Mar was challenging as my daughter was crying and scared which was expected due to the new environment. During that visit, the staff were great as well, Dr. Matt worked quickly to examine her teeth, and the hygenist managed to get in a quick brush and flouride treatment. Staff were supportive of me, the mom, knowing how hard and stressful these milestones can be. Highly recommend this great office!

I can truly say they put your comfort above all. I came on a Friday for a consult with the doctor. I saw Dr. Shannon Ellermeyer and she had outstanding bedside manner and was kind and honest. She explained possible treatment options and they printed me pricing for both possibilities with a breakdown of insurance contribution. I scheduled with the front desk for the following Monday to actually come back for the work which could be either a filling or a root canal. They told me nitrous was complementary because my comfort was important. My mind was blown. I had literally never been offered nitrous, even when expressing anxiety about numbing injections to previous dentists. When I came back Monday, the appointment took about an hour but most of that was spent making sure I was comfortable before she started! With the nitrous I didn't even feel the injections and then she checked before she started the work. Outstanding. She told me what she was doing. I was lucky and it was just a filling and it was quick and efficient. The assistant even had chapstick and applied it for me when my lips got dry during! That was a really nice touch and one more way they made sure my physical comfort was taken care of. It was pouring the day I came and along with the umbrella I got as a new patient (that I had forgotten, OF COURSE!) they have a stash at the door for you to use and bring back the next time you come. I got back in two weeks for a cleaning and I can honestly say, I have no worries. Not even bad news could take away from how pleasant this office is. Even the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I'm glad this place exists.

A dental assistant named Nicole was completely out of line. I had to deal with her twice giving the benefit of the doubt the first time. She emotionally dumped all over me with personal and professional complaints both times. She insulted my teeth, asking about stains (most people ask how I get my teeth so white) and making me feel bad on purpose. She constantly crossed physical boundaries, leaning directly over my body and pressing up against my chest during a procedure, which was entirely unnecessary. I actually had to sit up in the chair and tell her to please stop talking and focus on cleaning my teeth just to get through the service. She passive aggressively scraped the plague in a forceful manner so I could hear all her hard work. When I complained to management about Nicole's unprofessional behavior, nothing was done. No apology or anything. The billing practices are also dishonest. I was told twice by the office staff that bringing my daughter in would incur zero out-of-pocket costs. Instead, I was hit with surprise bills totaling over $300 each time. When I brought this up, the office manager offered nothing but excuses and attempted to guilt-trip me for holding a basic boundary regarding their staff's lies. To top it off, the actual dental work was sub-par. A crown put in by the owner fell out multiple times shortly after completion, forcing me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket at a new practice to have his mistake entirely redone.
