They guarantee certain things and they do not honor their promises or word. If your service times goes past the two years originally quoted they charge you extra and make you sign a new contract. Their practices do not seem to be honorable or honest. Certain covering dentists are extremely rough and have zero empathy when hurting a child. I am glad I have video proof of how my daughter was treated and I will be submitting the evidence to the BBB and filing a complaint. I do not recommend this place to anyone! I ended up paying much more money than originally quoted and they made certain promises of services than later backed out. Personnel is extremely hard to reach and anytime you call you have to go through their answering call center. I went to Denville location due to the good treatment my daughter received at their Hackensack location. But this location is very disappointing. Will be submitting all my evidence to BBB asap and filing a formal complaint with the dentist who treated my daughter so poorly during her visit. My daughter was crying for hours and shaking due to being traumatized after being treated so rough during a visit. Long story short do not go to this location. Pay a little extra and take your services somewhere reliable.

In the end after insurance was sorted out, they owed ME money due to their negligence. The office is extremely rude, the dentist is rude and even ruder to her employees. Most of the times during the appointments, I had to remind the staff what they said they were going to do. Insane!!

My daughter was freaked about being called brace face, metal mouth, or any number of names kids will use and I was kind of freaked about the pain she'd be in and the cost. Dr. Newman put us at ease quickly as he explained everything to us about what she would need - palette expander then a couple-three years of braces- and this for a kid whose teeth weren't really that bad. Dr. Newman's staff, and his waiting room, are awesome...I mean how many doctors' offices have an arcade video game in them...especially ones with great 80s and 90s arcade games?!? Anyway, throughout the last 3 1/2 years or so Dr. Newman continued to be as great as he was during that first visit and our daughter's teeth look absolutely great. She had a couple of days of pain throughout the process, usually from the major adjustments, but my daughter is very happy with the results. I wish I could get her to wear her retainers like Dr. Newman wants her to, but that's another story...

They billed the insurance over $400 for this and told me he needed four fillings. When I got there with him for the fillings, they told me that my insurance only covers $1000 a year so my out of pocket expense would be over $500. But, they told me he also needed another four fillings that they did not realize he needed the first time I was there. They did all of this in front of my son. When I asked why they did not call me about this before the appointment, they said that they are sorry, they should have. I have some serious questions about the second set of fillings that they just happened to spring on me when I was already there and of course would not get them done without another opinion. It would seem that they wait until a person takes time off from work, takes their kid out of school and then they spring new ways to make money off of them. To make matters worse, as we were leaving and I went to pay them, I saw my son's medical record sitting on the patient side of the reception desk. I asked how long it had been there and the receptionist did not even know what paper I was talking about. The dentist had simply left privileged health information out in full public view for at least an hour. I feel bad for the one really good dentist who is working there. The owner is disgusting and is simply ripping people off. DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS A SCAM.

A dental assistant named Nicole was completely out of line. I had to deal with her twice giving the benefit of the doubt the first time. She emotionally dumped all over me with personal and professional complaints both times. She insulted my teeth, asking about stains (most people ask how I get my teeth so white) and making me feel bad on purpose. She constantly crossed physical boundaries, leaning directly over my body and pressing up against my chest during a procedure, which was entirely unnecessary. Furthermore, she spent the appointment complaining and trying to gaslight me into thinking I was the problem, when I was simply trying to relax and get my teeth cleaned. I actually had to sit up in the chair and tell her to please stop talking and focus on cleaning my teeth just to get through the service. She passive aggressively scraped the plague in a forceful manner so I could hear all her hard work. When I complained to management about Nicole's unprofessional behavior, nothing was done. No apology or anything. The billing practices are also dishonest. I was told twice by the office staff that bringing my daughter in would incur zero out-of-pocket costs. Instead, I was hit with surprise bills totaling over $300 each time. When I brought this up, the office manager offered nothing but excuses and attempted to guilt-trip me for holding a basic boundary regarding their staff's lies. To top it off, the actual dental work was sub-par. A crown put in by the owner fell out multiple times shortly after completion, forcing me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket at a new practice to have his mistake entirely redone. They constantly pester patients for 5-star reviews, but this practice does not deserve them. Go somewhere else.
