Everything via the online portal, they don't call you even if it's important. They don't answer questions. If they do respond it's usually, "I don't know.", no follow up, or "I'll ask the doctor." 2. Overstaffed. They won't tell you this, but apparently Dr. Glass is the only current doctor working here. They may have a Nurse Practitioner, but I can't confirm this. 3. If you miss an appointment, expect to be billed, if they miss an appointment, expect a nasty letter saying you missed the appointment. Very unprofessional, Horribly managed, lack of care. Look for a better options.

I also got to know Lisa Zylstra and Katherine Moon during that time and found them both top notch as well in their knowledge, kindness and abilities. I started seeing her in April of this year for issues that I had regarding my health. After answering a series of very thorough questions she was able to read me like a book because after my lab results came back she was right on practically everything. I know several doctors in the Vancouver area who know of and give high praise to Dr. Workman. She runs a great practice and in my experience takes the time necessary to ensure that her patients are cared for and fully understand the issues surrounding their health. Her office is extremely busy but I guess when you are good at what you do it is to be expected. I was thankful that she was accepting new patients and I have recommended her to friends who moved here from other states who do not have a primary care physician. As more private practice doctors retire or get pushed into the managed care debacle I feel fortunate to have a good doctor who puts the well being of their patients as their top priority. Too much to cover over my time there - they are just not very nice, especially Ofc Mgr Fran. Just switching to a new provider this week because the new clinic policy requires a seperate "Med Review" appt now every six months to receive my simple med script. They used to simply renew for the entire year, as for the last 5 years, at my annual exam. No more, they want 2 addt'l appts, that are NOT covered by my insurance, or they will not renew meds. I'm otherwise healthy with no change in meds or health. It's just insurance churning and a way to increase their billings. That was the last straw - no longer a patient and that is sad.

As a result, I left without being seen. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a call asking if I could return, which I found unacceptable given the lack of coordination and respect for my time. This is not the first issue I've encountered. During my previous visit on October 24, 2025, the doctor ordered the wrong medication dose twice, and after waiting for an hour, I had to leave without treatment then as well.

The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? Ugh.

He is very thorough in his assessments and excellent in follow-up. He will try to find a remedy to every medical issue I have and so far he's good at it. He is a combination of traditional and modern medicine. Traditional in a sense that he doesn't just rely on blood work but he would recommend a double check just to make sure. He's a great guy to talk to, the type that you can be confident to tell your medical issues without reservation. Most of all, he cares for his patients.

I just saw Dr. Speaker recently and she didn't mention the new concierge decision. She is changing her practice to this new concierge model (basically only for the rich) which leaves us now without a PCP as of September. She could have told me in person when myself and my kids were there. To give me a heads up so I could start looking for a new provider (considering how difficult it is to get in with anyone these days and when you do get an appointment it is at least 6-9 months out). Now I will experience a delay in my healthcare and most likely be without my meds until I can get established somewhere else. I never imagined being a middle class, hard working person with decent insurance wouldn't be enough to keep basic healthcare at Creekside. I am shocked at this decision. I didn't think Dr. Speaker was the kind of person who would abandon her patients simply because they can't afford it. Shameful! I am shocked as I have never had an unpleasant experience with the office staff nor Dr. Speaker. They are always warm, gracious and helpful. Dr. Speaker is a teacher at heart, as well as someone who works above and beyond for the patient. I'm fortunate in that a I don't need to go often but when I use the portal monthly to get prescription refills she responds right away with answers to any questions about insurance and options, if necessary. When I have my yearly physical, Dr. Speaker spends so much time with me that I begin to feel uncomfortable that we're holding up other patients waiting to see her - she is that thorough and present. And often I will walk out with referrals to specialists or names of someone/something in the community that may help. In summary, I can't say enough about Dr. Speaker. I don't know for sure how long I have been seeing her - probably around 20 years. In my 78 years I have been seen by many doctors, Dr. Speaker is the best at listening, teaching, responding and overall empathy to my health.
