However, recently had a disappointing interaction with the front desk staff that I feel needs to be addressed. During a phone call, I was trying to explain my situation regarding a $3,000 payment within a month and discuss possibly rescheduling while contacted my dental insurance. Unfortunately, I wasn't given the chance to fully explain, as l was frequently interrupted. I was also told that I was being rude and raising my voice, which was not my intention. I did not use any inappropriate language or yell. When I asked to speak with someone else, I was told that I would not be transferred. At one point, I also felt dismissed as a customer, which was frustrating. Again, the dental care itself has been great, but this experience with the front desk left me disappointed. I hope the office can improve communication and customer service moving forward. I would recommend not going to place that doesn't understand spending 3000 dollars in a month is a lot

At the point where one of my daughters became more complicated to treat, instead of working with us, Dr. Nastea made no attempt to develop a treatment plan and instead just booted her from the dental practice while still being clear that she wanted our business for our other daughter. NOPE! Sorry. Dr. Nastea appears to be well-prepared for routine uncomplicated preventive care, which is fine, but if other issues arise, she doesn't have the skills/interest/time/desire/training/equipment to deal with them. She'll just eject the patient from the practice. No bueno.

This office is small but pretty clean and located close to my work. I have been for 3 visits now and it just feels dry and without personality there. I am used to some music in a doctor/dentist office, a TV, something to distract me from the chilling sound of a metal pick being scrubbed against my teeth. Even some casual chit chat with the lady cleaning your teeth- but no, not at this place. Literal silence other than your breathing and a metal pick cutting into your gums like its picking for gold. The staff here is kind but quiet. "Bedside" manner is a bit dry and you literally won't have any mental stimulation at all. I'm not sure why this bothers me so much but for a lot of people, going to the dentist is awful and they don't really sweeten it up at all in terms of making people feel comfortable. They do well on your teeth it seems but the cleanings last around 20 minutes tops and then you are out, which is a good and bad thing in my opinion.

I've been a regular for about 2 years now and with each visit, my admiration grows. Not sure if the team is just simply that cohesive and happy or if they've undergone tremendous amounts of training. After multiple appeals, insurance still denied coverage based on medical necessity criteria, leaving us with a large balance. Over time, the messaging shifted from confidence that it would be approved to comments that our insurance was "the worst," and eventually we were told the PPO contractual adjustment counted as a "discount," which felt misleading to us. As an aside, a different dentist later completed another crown for me that was approved by the same insurance, which made the earlier comments about our insurance being terrible harder to understand. Separately, this office recommended approximately 10 fillings for me personally. I later obtained a second opinion from another dentist who agreed with 2 recommendations. That large difference made me uncomfortable and contributed to my decision to seek care elsewhere.

You have to wait a while if your appointment is in the afternoon but if you have an early appointment, they will see you immediately. The wait doesn't bother me as much because once I'm with my dentist, he spends time explaining what I need. They are also compassionate to my financial needs and are open to negotiations, will definitely recommend this dental office. Staff is really nice and very knowledgeable. I called one time and got the voice message and didn't leave a message because I had questions. Surprisingly, I got a return call. Great service and they will text you reminders too. Dr. Bogacki was all business which is exactly what I needed. I was still in shock but his professionalism calmed me and made me realize that I was in an establishment that cared more about providing the right service vice promises of hearts and rainbows. The crowns that broke were badly done and threw off my bite for the last two years. I'm so excited that I'm going to see the crown artisan next week to get crowns that fit my mouth and restore my confidence. My previous dentist had found nothing wrong with my teeth/gums + I am regular with my dentist visits and have had x rays taken before. I guess I will have to keep looking for a better dentist's office in the area. Update: Note that you may be bullied by the office manager if you leave a bad review. Here is a brief summary of his bad work; 1) used a drill to remove the glue for braces thinning her teeth, 2) placed small short crowns over back molars, 3) shaved down her molars to a lopsided bite, 4) 2 of the crowns cracked within 3 months. I have no idea why he keeps a 4.9 rating, apparently he does know how to do good work. The only explanation is that he chooses not to give equal attention and quality of work to all. Since I can't read his mind, based on those penning excellent reviews, just stay away if you are not white and/or belong to any hyphenated group of American. I am working with insurance company, now that the list of cracked crowns, unhealed implant (2years) issues have grown beyond cosmetic. I have to list tooth number, the date replaced (some twice) for everyone he treated who is facing the same issue. This is not a cosmetic dentistry, not even mediocre for basic crowns.
