He said it's not going to live and that he would not help. I went to another veterinarian who not only saved my cat as he had an inner ear infection, but only charge me $283. If you ask me, nobody should go to Somis vet the lack of compassion and to let an animal suffer longer is more than enough for me . Update I see you're quick to write a rebuttal Brittany, but in fact I never once gave me a bill at the time of service your veterinarian instructed me to go somewhere else . Nobody called and said there was an outstanding balance nor was anything mailed to me. Usually once service is rendered payment is expected again I was never given a bill from this establishment.

Dr. Richard is a literal angel who saved the life of my pet when every emergency vet and equine doctor from solvang to Culver City wouldn't see me. In fact, dr. Richard wasn't familiar with my animal at all and when I originally called the facility in a panic hours before showing up I was told them couldn't help me as he didn't have the experience I specifically needed. Fast forward five hours, three different vets and the last place offering to euthanize my animal... Dr. Richard took a chance, made it clear he couldn't guarantee me a positive outcome and saved our pet's life. Not only did he take a chance when EVERYONE told me no, his office staff sent me daily updates of them all loving on our animal... cute feeding videos, etc. The price was beyond reasonable, the facility and grounds looked clean, the front staff was warm and empathetic to my situation and Dr. Richard saved my Boomer's life. He suggested that if we didn't put her down that night, then we should take the horse back to the unsanitary barn where she got the infection and let the other Veterinarian come out to the barn to check on the Horse whenever we felt necessary... WTF? He was so concerned about not stepping on the toes of another local Veterinarian that he was willing to give up doing the right thing for my daughter's Horse. Completely unethical, unprofessional, and inhumane When we realized Dr Giacapuzzi wasn't willing to do anything to help our horse, we immediately trailered her to Alimo, a specialized medicine hospital in Los Olivo ca.
