I have been seeing Krista at Dr. Trask's office for several years. I cannot tell you how excellent her work is. I feel like I am in very good hands. She is clear and direct with me, she is very thorough, and she has answered all of my questions in such a manner that I am able to learn from her, which I really appreciate. She taught me how to recognize potential melanoma or other irregularities on my skin versus something that is likely normal. This is really good because in between check ups I don't have stress. It's also good because if something did occur I know to call the office and get an appointment earlier. I've always found the folks that work with Krista are really wonderful as well as the administrative staff. In order to be treated as a new patient, they told me I had to see my general practitioner, get their chart notes, and get a referral to their office. Never in my life have I ever had a dermatology clinic tell me that. I even told her what my condition was and I will tell you it's very very common. If you want to know why our insurance rates are so high, doctors appointments cost so much money and take so long to get an appointment... This office is a prime example. What a waste of the system. I called another dermatology office and got an appointment. Ridiculous. read more

One of the employees literally shouted at some City of Medford public employees for parking in their parking lot so they could count traffic in the intersection. The people she decided were the #1 enemy of the business were super polite and apologetic, and before they even had a chance to leave she came back out and even more hysterically shouted at them some more. She nearly drove one of them to tears. Completely, painfully, outrageously unprofessional and unnecessary. I can't believe this person thought it was appropriate to behave this way, even if the city employees weren't there on official business. This wasn't the kind of thing where she was polite at first and they ignored her. She came out swinging. Shameful. read more

I've never personally seen a provider care so much about his patients. From the front office to the back office their office will provide complete and wonderful care. Additionally, Krista Smith, PA I as also amazing very knowledgeable and made me feel very cared for. I would highly recommend there office. read more

This review is for whoever I spoke with on the phone when I just called to try and get an appointment. First she was rude. Second they were booked through October for appointments (and it's April now). Third she was completely incompetent in being able to tell me why they would not see me. My doctor had referred me to this dermatologist because of my psoriasis. But he told them I have psoriatic arthritis, which is true. But this doctor would not see me until I had received laser treatment or light therapy for my psoriasis. With the previous 3 dermatologists I've had, no one has ever told me that my psoriasis requires light therapy. But yes, Dr. Trask refused to even see me or see the current status of my psoriasis without receiving this treatment that I may or may not need beforehand. When pressing the woman why this is, she just said "I'm not arguing with you. Call your primary care doctor back" and hung up. Nice. Way to go Dr. Trask and office people. read more

What I liked about seeing Dr. Trask was his no-nonsense actions and his specific answers to questions. Not having been seen by a dermatologist before, I was hesitant. Dr. Trask told me what he was seeing on my skin and recommend having a biopsy of two areas. Imagine my surprise that before I was really prepared he had already given me a numbing shot which I barely felt and had removed a small skin slice to send for a lab analysis. WOW, I thought this was nothing to fear and I'm so glad I saw him rather than any other dermatologist. Just great service. read more

I am a nurse and have worked with doctors all my nursing life 40 years. I was referred by my physician and was promptly seen. He was kind thorough and professional. I had skin cancer and he made sure it was promptly taken care of. I know they are busy, because he is good. I accept that other people need to be seen as well as myself. If it is not an emergency we all must wait to be taken care of. I scheduled my next appointment in a timely manor. The nursing staff was nice, the front desk people were pleasant, and I had a great experience. I talked to several people in his office that were waiting, and everyone sang high praises of Dr. Trask. Dr. Trask is who I trust to find skin cancers. It takes a long time to schedule an appointment but planning ahead insures skin checks are on time and his checks are thorough. If there is an emergency, I am sure he will see his established clients quickly, even if he has to stay late. Not every office person has a sense of humor but I don't go for them. Have been a patient for years and always received lovely treatment and service. Recently saw a doctor who was taking his patients while he was away. The technically correct but exorbitant billing shocked and seemed way out of line to me... after emailing his office, I was contacted the very next business day; my feedback was reviewed and Dr Trask directed his staff to reduce the charge to an extremely reasonable total.
