After the product arrived at the store, the installers, Kevin and Matthew, made arrangements with us to begin the install. It actually surprised us how quickly they were able to start. After a thorough clean up of the carpet and subfloor, they very professionally began installing the new floor. They were very meticulous in their work. It was amazing to watch. By the way, they were both very personable as well as professional. As the laying of the flooring was proceeding, the appearance was taking on a look that did not fully jive with what we had seen in the pictures. Kevin did not like it either. On his own initiative, he called the home office from his truck. He then informed us that he was not satisfied with the results and that we would get a call to arrange a time to choose a different flooring. Upon arrival of the new flooring, Kevin and Matthew picked up the original product and laid down the new flooring and finished the project. The end result is simply fabulous. Everyone at The Flooring Department was most concerned with fairness, caring, doing the right thing, and professionalism. I am looking forward to engaging them in the near future for addition projects. I simply cannot say enough good things about them.

The work was scheduled for a few weeks later. The original estimate seemed high, but we agreed to the terms. The employee did a good job for the first day. Then we were told to complete the last project would require a change with a small increase in price to use some 4 x 4 instead of some 2 x 4 lumber.The work was completed on the second day by the employee and was satisfactory. The problem is when we received an $800 increase in the final bill. When we questioned why the final bill was increased by such a large amount, the owner did not give a reasonable explanation that we felt was acceptable . When the job was finished, they said that if the issue comes back Victor Furniture would fix it under warranty. Well... a few months later, the same wrinkle re-appeared. It took multiple calls to get a response from Amanda, their contact. When I told Amanda they originally fixed it, she said we would have to pay AGAIN. Finally, after explaining we were told it was covered from a repair this year, they agreed it was under warranty, but on the service date no one showed up. They I had to spend multiple calls trying to get someone to come out. When they did, they told me that it would be hundreds of dollars to fix. I'm really disappointed with their service.
