There is a lot of product used and my stylist asked if it was okay, so there's your consent! Being in the chair, I was confused as to why there wasn't a mirror... until I was swirled around at the end and shocked by the result. Beautiful styling making my untamed, frizzy hair into a shiny, glossy look. It lasted all night and for days afterwards.

We are in town from AZ and my 17 year old daughter had the urge to cut her hair after a couple of years of no cutting. I went on the around me App and David Perez Salon was the first on the list, and a two min walk from our hotel, The L'Auberge. I called the number and David answered and was able to accommodate us, even though he was away from the salon. We met him a short time later, for what we thought was just a hair cut, but turned out to be much more! He was very attentive to both of us, and was excited to try a new styling method as well. He was so positive and funny. We had a good time laughing and watching him do his magic. He taught my daughter a new styling method, actually letting her try it in her own hair for a few times, so she could feel comfortable doing it at home. Along with the cutest and good conversations, we laughed and interacted about his new product line, and ended up purchasing it. The cut and the product he produced where both amazing. So amazing that we are going back to say hi, grab a few laughs, and purchase more product to take back to Az! Go see David! I moved to San Diego from Tarzana 3 months ago and was looking for a colorist and stylist closer to my new home. I had recommendations from friends but none seemed to be what I wanted. He colored, weaved, conditioned, cut, and blew dry my hair; I felt like a new person. He is an amazing colorist and gave me a new look that I love. What a blessing it has been to find David Perez Master Colorist. When I met David my hair was damaged, breaking and had a very strong "ash" tone as a result of searching for a stylist who specializes in color. I cannot believe the miracle he pulled off during my very first visit. For the first time in 1.5 years my hair was soft, healthy and had 3-4 different colors which gave it a natural look I had only admired in the magazines. I had just moved to the area and didn't have any references on who was a talented hair stylist. I trusted him and told him a vague idea of what I wanted (a dark purple and a trim). Been going to David for over 20 years. I have always used Sunin on my hair and David only cut it. I unfortunately decided to bid funny hair red. It was horrible. I went to a friends salon, not David, and my hair got worse. I went to David to fix it and he did a remarkable transformation. He knowledgeably said we needed to go through a few treatments to not further damage my hair. After the first I was very grateful for his master blending skills. I went to two other salons before him trying to get the cute layered asymmetrical bob hair cut that was so adorable in pictures and no one seemed to know what I wanted until I went to David. Took my friend here for a haircut and David added a split end treatment that left her hair incredibly soft. It looks so healthy and pretty. And the split end treatment lasts much longer (6 more weeks) than the deep conditioning one. Would definitely come back here to get my own hair done. With staffing issues and supply chains breaking down, I am impressed at how miraculously Michelle and her team have managed to continue to provide professional, quality service with the most kindness and compassion as possible. All the stylists at this salon are highly qualified and superb, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I would never trust my cut and color to any other salon!

I would highly recommend Rebecca. She is incredibly talented, funny and her hands are like magic. This is my 2nd time and I booked a hair treatment previously which made my hair super silky and shiny. Her head massages are otherworldly. She even has cute business cards. The salon is hidden away tucked behind the flower hill shopping center. The salon is so beautiful and it felt like I was getting my hair done by a good friend of mine. She is so incredibly talented I couldn't recommend her enough.

From the very beginning, we shared a few laughs, and she gave the most incredible head massage. It set such a relaxing, positive tone for the entire experience, and I already felt so cared for before we even started the cut. As soon as she began working on my hair, I could tell I was in amazing hands. The techniques she used showed such skill and intention--I could actually see the vision coming together, which gave me so much confidence and trust in her. That meant a lot to me.
