Recently after sending me to get some bloodwork done, I waited for a month before they got back to me with results on lab work (would have been longer if I hadn't called twice myself) and the PA never even considered prescribing pain medication while making me wait with back problems. Ultimately I find out that they never received the results. Thankfully I prompted them to get them. They don't have any system in place to follow up with patients automatically and they should! Do yourselves a favor and seek another doctor. I will finally be doing the same! One's health should not be put on hold. I'm switching doctors and staying away from their network.

He's still an awesome doctor). I have been a patient of Dr. Malouf a little over two years now, after my work insurance changed & then after being laid off while on leave after being injured. Luckily I was able to carry him over and am blessed to still be able to see him. I still thank my aunt who used to be an RN and had worked the same hospital he had been at years ago for referring me to him. I am not a fan of going to the doctors, AT ALL! Especially, after finding out online, after a year, seeing my previous one, that my most recent nd long term doctor was on probation and how he pretty much decided after taking cash for services, that he was no longer going to handle my care, in the middle of it. With zero warning. Even though I was still technically under his care. This is where a good doctor definitely outshines a crappy doctor! Dr. Malouf on the other hand, has been nothing but patient, accessible, kind and friendly, which for me, means the world. Some of us have a very hard time talking about our health and vulnerabilities. While he will take the time to listen, he will also give pretty sound advice and recommendations if needed. He will treat you with respect. His office staff is great. There are times they are overbooked or busy and you might be rushed through or asked to follow up with another appointment for any secondary diagnosis due to work load, but that doesn't mean he will not follow up, nor respond to your calls or messages. He is the first doctor I have ever had that didn't make me wait a week or more for an answer to a question or concern or for important paperwork to be handled. If I needed a form filled out or anything else, he or another doctor in the group he is with at my home location were quick to help out if he were not available to do it himself. I was seen by my doctor 30 minutes after the actual appointment time and had to wait for the nurse to come back in the room for my paperwork for 5-10 minutes. Sadly, after his passing, we received no follow-up, no condolences, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. The absence of any communication felt extremely cold and dismissive, especially given the seriousness of the condition and the time spent under this doctor's care. Not to mention my father was on several unnecessary medications due to his artial fibrillation. After his diagnosis, he was removed from all restrictive and so called " necessary" medications by a different doctor and was never in a-fib again. Kickbacks or payments given to healthcare professionals, such as doctors, in exchange for prescribing or recommending specific drugs is truly unethical and quite disgusting and can have long-term negative consequences for patients. While medical expertise is important, compassion and humanity are equally important and vital in the healthcare profession. A simple message of sympathy or closure would have meant a great deal to our grieving family. I hope this practice reflects on how they can support families during such difficult moments.

The person on the phone suggested I call back a week later to check for any cancellations that might allow me to see him sooner. I followed their advice and called a week later, but this time, the lady on the phone told me it wouldn't be possible for me to see the doctor earlier because his schedule was fully booked. Since this was not an emergency and just a routine change, I was completely fine with waiting. However, today, less than 24 hours before my long-awaited appointment, I received a call from the office notifying me that my appointment was canceled because they do not accept my insurance. This has been a frustrating experience. I would appreciate it if your office could handle these matters more professionally and avoid wasting patients' valuable time. Michelle and Dr. Le (pronounced Lay for those of us that need the reminder) are top notch people and very well versed in how to communicate with patients. First, I would like to acknowledge how easy it was to contact them, leave a message, and I heard back from them ASAP. I actually was able to get into see Dr. Le the same day; :) I'm so grateful, too. Furthermore, the care that was shown to me was extraordinary. I don't think I've had the same experience with anyone else. I really liked how they charted my history and Dr. Le used a white board, which is so brilliant because I could visually see all of my options (versus remembering them).
