I have high pain tolerance and I told them that. They told me they wouldn't be able to see me that day and that I didn't sound like I had anything serious. I called Back to make an appointment and never got a response. I continued to have a great deal of pain and when it turned into fever, I went to the ER and ended up with a burst appendix which had been going on for a week. I spent a very long time in the hospital with sepsis and a long recovery and never went back to this practice.

Instead of addressing my worries, Dr.Gutierrez was dismissive and worried about her staff being overwhelmed with the request. She stated due to lack of staff, she would require me to pull the heavy grunt work with calling insurance, providing details, of what it will require to be approved. Despite me already doing that and informing Dr.Gutierrez that insurance states they need a prior-authorization request; she would not take the step forward with me to send in a pre-authorized referral due to the amount of time irk it will be for her staff. When I pointed out my dissatisfaction with the service, Dr.Gutierrez bluntly told me, "If you don't like our service, you can go somewhere else." I was shocked by this unprofessional behavior. A healthcare provider should prioritize patient care and empathy, not push patients away. I will definitely take Dr.Gutierre's advice and find another doctor who actually cares about their patients. I would not recommend Dr.Gutierrez or Memorial Care to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more compassionate and professional healthcare.

She copied and paste and said some derogatory things because we didn't recall or knew anything about. She told my wife she wanted $30-40 for missing said appointment before we make another. On another occasion they withheld my blood pressure medication until I had blood tests done. There is no professionalism....Thats how they inform you it's time to come in for a visit - When you need your life saving medication most!! There is something very wrong with that don't you agree ?!!! His staff exhibits no compassion, no grace, nothing but combative Rudeness. I will not be back. Lack of Compassion After Loss…read more My family had entrusted Dr. Arora with the care of our loved one (my father) during a critical time. My father was a patient for over 20 years. Sadly, after his passing, we received no follow-up, no condolences, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. The absence of any communication felt extremely cold and dismissive, especially given the seriousness of the condition and the time spent under this doctor's care. Not to mention my father was on several unnecessary medications due to his artial fibrillation. After his diagnosis, he was removed from all restrictive and so called " necessary" medications by a different doctor and was never in a-fib again. Kickbacks or payments given to healthcare professionals, such as doctors, in exchange for prescribing or recommending specific drugs is truly unethical and quite disgusting and can have long-term negative consequences for patients. While medical expertise is important, compassion and humanity are equally important and vital in the healthcare profession. A simple message of sympathy or closure would have meant a great deal to our grieving family. I hope this practice reflects on how they can support families during such difficult moments.
