I will say this hospital and their staff are AMAZING! I brought my poor beautiful sick dog one day and unfortunately he did not make it, but the staff really showed they cared and were aware that our pets are part of our family. We cried like crazy but they were so kind, empathetic and so loving towards us and our beautiful dog . We wanted different results but they helped us get through it as best as they could and they knew how much we loved him. Megan S. is also a wonderful person/triage technician that anyone who comes across her will not be disappointed, she really cares. I'm thankful to her & CASE hospital, their techs and doctor! We brought our dog here in his final hours. While I appreciate the staff's condolences and the doctor's honesty, the overall experience felt incredibly transactional. When you are in a moment of deep duress, faced with sudden, heavy decisions in the middle of the night, you need empathy. We were the only patients there, yet the care felt as cold as the human medical system. We felt backed into a corner with no good options: either take our dog's lifeless body home to wait for our regular vet to open, pay around $250 just to hold his body for a few hours, or choose their cremation service through West Coast Pet Memorial. We were handed a total bill from West Coast Pet Memorial for the cremation without a transparent breakdown of the hidden costs from CASE Animal Hospital --we weren't told the clay paw print was $67, the individual cremation was $300, and the urn was $0, bringing the total to $372.87 (before shipping). At CASE we were given this pamphlet and nothing more. On top of that, we had to choose between a $30+ shipping fee or driving all the way to Temecula for pickup. I thought I was making the most compassionate choice by not taking my dog's body home to wait, but I regret it. For context, The Animal Doctors - Anaheim provides a beautifully thought-out, reasonable package (when our cat passed, we received a lovely wooden box with a gold lock, memorial canvas tote, and a clay paw print included). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I had the most HORRIBLE experience ever!!!! Dr. Esther Yang. I highly advise you to reconsider your position! This woman LIED and ABUSED my cat! My cat Steve has been having issues with his private area, he over groomes the area until the skin is bleeding. And he won't stop so he's been wearing a pillow cone. I was worried that night because he reopened the wound again and this has been happening for a little over a month which has been a bit long. He's also has a history of urine issues, stones in his bladder. He didn't pee that day and I was worried so I take Steve in, he gets admitted. The doctor comes in, she quite literally lies to my face. And she's very condescending as she speaks to me. She says she did an ultrasound on Steve and shows me random photos on her phone of an ultra sound, no name of the ultra sounds or anything, no professional photos on a computer or tablet. It honestly looks like they were from google. she said she did an ultrasound on Steve but there was no leftover gel or moisture on his stomach, she also said that she did not see his wound on his private area, which it's big wound, you literally can't miss it, it's bleeding and everything and then she told me that it was a me problem because she did not see it. How did you perform an ultrasound on a male cat of his bladder, which is on his quite literally near his private area and then you tell me you did not see a big wound of blood and raw flesh on his area??. That and she said that Steve scratched her... Steve is declawed (was not my choice) So tell me, how did Steve scratch her? She said she was not going to help Steve or even take a look at his area after I protested I would help because she wants to consider her safety. I told her that I am willing to hold Steve if it means that she will treat him so bring him in the room so I can help him. Then she has the audacity to tell me that no she will not comply with that because it's for my safety as well as Steve is "violent". Cats are often misunderstood because they are terrified but that does not mean that they should not get the help they obviously need! I was so upset and angry. I asked for my cat back, AND IT GETS WORSE!! When she was handed Steve back to me, he was in his carrier, but his carrier is only designed to hold him, it's not snug, but it only fits one cat. When he was returned to me He was stuffed in there with a large towel and a large plastic cone. He was practically stuffed in there like a stuffed animal or pillow or toy. I couldn't get the towel out or him out through the opening so I had to take apart the whole crate just to release him. When I did, Steve was being choked by a leash that was wrapped around his neck. I was crying at this point cause I felt like a terrible owner, taking him to this awful place! So they didn't look into him. They lied to me about attempting to help him, but they didn't , on top of that they wanted to put him on anti anxiety meds, an antibiotic, and other forms of chemical sedative and depressants for his bladder. It made me so angry because how are you going to "treat" my cat but you're trying to give him a bunch of chemicals without proper evaluation??!! Unfortunately, I had to pay for the admission which was almost $200 but I took him and I left. another note is that when the nurse was charging me, she did not charge for an ultrasound. So that prove to me furthermore that he never had an ultrasound. And the doctor came out as I was trying to leave and tried to persuade me to buy the medications and kept going to Steve carrier trying to touch him. So tell me if Steve is as "violent" as she said and Steve "scratched", why in the world would you try to come near him?? They never looked at him. They never treated and they were still trying to give him unnecessary medication. I called to make a proper complaint and they said they would get back to me. PLEASE BE AWARE!!! read more

I recently had to make a difficult decision to put my dog down. So grateful I chose this animal hospital. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so kind, welcoming, and compassionate. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and gently talked us through every step of the process, which made something so painful a little more bearable. A week later, when I came back to pick up my dog's ashes, I found a heartfelt card from the staff with his paw and nose print. It truly touched my heart. Staff here is really nice. A stray/lost dog appeared at my door early one morning (430am!) And I spent hours walking my neighborhood trying to find his home. I found that CASE is open 24hrs so around 6.30am I drove the dog over and we scanned him for a microchip. No luck :( but staff let me sit in the lobby awhile so I could fill out some social media posts about him. I posted on pawboost and next door and the ring camera app. I have my own dogs at home so it was hectic trying to do it there. The lobby was very clean and it was surprisingly well staffed for being before normal business hours. I now know where I can go if my own dog has an emergency. read more

Located near St College at the 91 fwy (adjacent to actual freeway) in an industrial area, this office was easy to navigate to. Plenty of parking. Nice lobby and staff. They got our dog right in and started treatment for anaphylaxis. They gave him IV treatment and oxygen after to help him calm his breathing. They monitored him for a couple hours. I went on a Tuesday around lunch. The facility was super nice inside and the vet techs were super kind. The actual vet himself told me I either had to pay 3k for an ultrasound or my cat would die. Amazingly enough, I took my cat to Mexico spent 300$ (for 4 days of care,meds, and a real answer) and she survived a bout of gastritis and constipation. The techs are awesome, but to try and charge someone 3k and essentially say it's life or death is asinine. The vet preyed on me and my husband's emotional distress and I witnessed it happening to others. That is simply poor business practices for the customers and pets. I couldn't recommend this place less. If you care about your pet and your wallet. Do not come here. The border is about 2 hours away. Make an adventure out of it and drive south. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. They play games and make you believe your pet needs things they do not need. We went in on the fourth of July 2026. Our dog child Kobe Bryant was extremely shaken by the fireworks. He was struggling to breathe and we rushed him to the nearest emergency room. Unfortunately, Case Animal Hospital was the first thing that popped up on Yelp. They took him in the back and the Veterinarian came out a few minutes later saying that he had to be put on oxygen to live. He then said that they would have to start an IV for CPR if he needed to be resuscitated. We asked how much this would cost, he said he would be back in a minute with the summary for services recommended. When he came back, he said that Kobe Bryant needed to be on oxygen, however when he was leaving to do the summary of services for us, I heard the technician in the back say the Kobe was stable and didn't need oxygen. The summary for services said that if we took him home, he only had a 50% chance of living through the night and that if we do the services, he recommends that he would have a 90% chance of recovery with the estimated fee being $5,600. We asked him to give us a few minutes to talk about it because the fee was so high my wife and I had to discuss. My wife and I decided to take Kobe Bryant home and that if he was going to pass it would be best at his home instead of an animal hospital. When they were bringing him out for us to take him home, the young technician said that he was over heating and that is why he was breathing so hard. I searched on chat GPT on how to fix overheating for an English Bulldog on our way home. It said to put him in a Lukewarm bath. When we got home, we immediately placed him in the bathtub. Within three minutes he was breathing much better, within ten minutes he was breathing normally and showed signs of improvement, we slept next to him to hear if he would stop breathing in his sleep. In the morning, he was up and moving, a little lethargic but no more struggling to breathe. Today he is moving around as if the incident never happened. The Veterinarian at Case Animal Hospital is a crook praying on families in the weakest moments. I pray that you never bring any animal to this place. read more

I just left and had the most wonderful and heartbreaking experience. As is often the case when you need to enter those doors, you know it isn't always going to go well. This was one of those times. Rushed our 1 year old cat in, he is the runt and very small, the moment we walked in, they yelled they needed help. Someone came right to us as we enter and took him, someone else asked questions, ran away and someone else helped us. It was an intense scene like you see on TV and I am so grateful they saw the seriously of our situation. It was only a minute or two before they came back out, they were doing CPR (which I had already approved) and I asked them to stop. They ran back and said he had a very faint heartbeat and did we want to see him? My daughter and I went back and when I say there was so much going on, WOW. There were...5...7 people there working on him. He was so tiny they had trouble getting an IV so we watched for a few moments and went to a room. We agreed it was best to assist him with leaving this world. As horrible as my visit was, there was not one thing I would have asked for them to do differently, unless they had a magic wand for my little guy, I told the caring vet that I was so grateful to have someone to take him. I didn't have to think about it, make an appointment, I was able to get in the car and go! THAT is so valuable. read more

I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. Losing a pet is already heartbreaking, but the way we were treated made the experience even worse. From the beginning, everything felt cold, rushed, and like we were just another transaction instead of a family grieving our pet. Ali Haghnazary showed very little compassion toward us. When we asked questions because we were scared and confused, we were met with a dismissive and passive-aggressive attitude instead of understanding. Throughout the entire process, we were not kept updated. We had to ask for information ourselves instead of being informed about our dog's condition. After our pet passed away, we were immediately expected to handle payment. I understand that veterinary care costs money, but the way it was handled felt extremely cold and lacked compassion. Don't bring your pet here. My 5 year old French bulldog was brought in due to sudden paralysis of his legs. They advised us that in order for them to proceed with anything we had to pay between 13k-25k depending on the diagnosis. We payed. And they took TWO weeks to give us any results because apparently they have to be shipped to New York! We payed approximately 16k to keep him there just to be under medication, which we could be giving and taking care of him at home ! We decided to bring him home and this hospital FAILED to give us his proper medication ! A Doctor called us saying the staff should have given us his medication !!! How do you send a pet home without proper medication ???!!! They wouldn't accept insurance and said we had pay full and have a balance of zero and then invoice it to the insurance. WTF DO I HAVE INSURANCE FOR !! Finally after what felt like an eternity we went in for the results. All the said was they could not do anything ! They were quick about taking our money though!! And any time we would call the specialized doctor wasn't in......and there wasn't a way of getting ahold of them. We went to another specialist who was kind enough to explain what he had and what was going on. She showed compassion and empathy knowing our dog, Odie, wasn't just a dog, but our family member. Unfortunately Odie was diagnosed with Glimoa cancer. He has a tumor by his disk which they say is in an area that can not be surgically removed. The good, the bad, the ugly... The good: my wife and I we're referred here by another clinic that was not able to help us. The girl that answered the phone when my wife called was very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to bring our dog in. The staff at the reception desk seem to be genuine pet lovers and were helpful. The waiting area has a mini fridge filled with water bottles and a coffee machine for family members to enjoy while they wait. The bad: $1,160 for a consultation, x-ray, and "miscellaneous medications ($250)". Even if you tell them you have pet insurance, they tell you to pay the bill in full first and give you an invoice at the end showing a $0 balance and tell you to submit a claim with your insurance after you have paid the bill upfront. We met with the veterinarian and he said it could take a few hours to sedate our dog and get X-rays, so my wife and I went home. When we returned to pick up our dog we were given some medication to give to our dog and one of them included pain medication. We asked the girl at the reception desk to give us an estimate for the surgery and it came out to $8,455 for a broken leg. The ugly: our dog was in a lot of pain and the side effects of the pain medication were so severe, that my wife called Case twice after picking him up after the x-ray and they just told my wife to double the dose. Luckily, my sister-in-law is in nursing school and noticed that our dog was curling his paws and that the medication was having more negative effects rather than helping him so she told us to take him off the pain medication and his condition improved drastically. Summary: this clinic has shady practices, look at both invoices where they try to charge us twice for the same charge "Extremity Radiographs (view 2-3)" and when I asked the staff member she told me it could be for different views? There is no transparency and they just write down items on the invoice that we don't fully understand. For example, an x-ray falls under radiograph. Then, what is "Radiologist Interpretation STAT- Radiographs"? Did you just charge us $382.80 to read the x-ray results? Also, what is I-STAT CHEM8+? We paid $93.54 for what? Didn't you already charge us for the "Extremity Radiographs"? Where is your moral compass? I thought doctors were supposed to save lives and heal the wounded. Not make a fortune off the sick, whether it's humans or pets. I thought doctors/veterinarians took an oath to do the right thing and be held by ethical standards. read more

I was down in Orange visiting from Los Angeles when one of my dogs had a medical emergency. I quickly searched for a close and highly rated ER and when I saw CASE's reviews, I immediately decided that's where I'd be taking my Josephine. I am on the board of a dog rescue and have been a foster for years. I have seen pretty much everything there is to be seen when it comes to veterinary hospitals- the worst of the worst and the best of the best. I was really, really relieved at how wonderful the team at CASE was. The doctor was kind, other doctors commented on how cute my dog is (always makes me feel good), the techs were all great, and best of all: the front desk staff was amazing. The emergency hospitals here in LA are very hit or miss but what sticks out the most to me with all of them is the behavior of the front desk staff. So many hospitals can have the most incredible doctors but are ruined by uncaring, unsmiling, unfeeling people working as the face of the company. Not here! Everyone I interacted with at the front was compassionate, helpful, and positive. The hospital also followed up in a timely manner regarding a refund I was owed which I really appreciated. I told my OC family to take their animals here if they are even in an emergency, and I recommend everyone else do the same. read more

Between one of their specialists, Dr. Green, and his team of student vets, they identified the issue in one visit and were able to provide us a prognosis, and long term plans for care. We visit with Dr. Green every month and after a long year+ of treatment, we have our baby feeling better with more energy than ever, like he was never sick. I brought my baby boy here in a dire emergency where he was on the verge of dying hardly able to breath after heart failure and fluids filling his lungs. My heart was breaking and in need of help so I came here in trust of these vets to care and help us. They did, the exceeded care and empathy when I was emotional, distraught and was not myself in a crisis, that of which I am deeply sorry to the staff for my false accusations that they werent there for us in a time of need, which was far from the truth after I was able to settle down from the worry of being able to approve the care because of the costs. I am very sorry to the staff for not being polite as I should have been but thank you for handling us with grace and empathy and understanding and actually being there for someone you dont even know in a desperate time of need. The staff allowed us have our sweet baby boy have the care he needed in the last few moments of his life rather than turning us away and him passing with suffer because of the costs that were at first beyond our affordability, they worked with us to find a solution. Thank you, from every fiber in my existence, thank you for providing your services, facility, care, empathy, staff, resources, doctor and so much more for us and allowing us to afford the care. My girlfriend and I visited here frantically the night of July 4th as the sky cracked and fireworks cast bright lights along our route. We were greeted promptly out in the parking lot by a very kind and compassionate employee (a uniform trait across the entire staff) who gently took our newly adopted rescue inside. Instructions for paperwork were clear and we were seen promptly by Dr. Tran who patiently accepted the morsels of scattered information regarding our dog's health who rapidly declined during the week. Dr. Tran provided clear reccomendations based on the concerns she had and within 5 minutes, an itemized list of diagnostic options were laid out for us to review. I really appreciated how we were not at all pressured / pushed into making any decisions and were afforded time to discuss as a family about next steps. Though unprepared to leave our baby overnight, we trusted everyone at the office and we're kindly given the opportunity to say our goodbye to our baby. They started our girl on IV fluids and despite it being 12:30am at the next day, had been provided a phone call update for the results of the imaging as promised. Later that same morning, we were given an update that our girl was doing well. I was very pleased to hear that they let her lay on the bed as staff stayed close by as she suffers from severe separation anxiety and is not at all one to be confined ( cage / small spaces ) without the ability to freely roam about. I woke up this morning having to write this review as it weighs so heavy on my heart. However, my experience must be written and read. After driving from los Angeles to Orange County the last week up to yesterday. I practically ran in carrying Leo, who was suffering from lack of oxygen, a heart in aphib, with an unknown illness. I'm sure you can see how desperate I was. I handed Molly Leo's paperwork from his vet, where he had been seen his whole entire life. I told her they couldn't help me after a grueling week trying to figure out what happened to Leo so rapidly. Leo was no dog that wondered unloved. He was well looked after! Molly, so graciously, assisted me, and within seconds, someone took Leo from my arms. They immediately put him on oxygen. Molly had my family and I in a bright yellow room. I needed that bright yellow ! It was taking me to a time Leo and out would be out in spring full of life. Molly walks in, informing me that the doctor will give me a treatment plan. I told them to do whatever he needed. We got financials out the way as a cash client. Labs were being done, and a chest x-ray was done. Doctor Ali Hanhnazry walks in he gathered Leo's health history. He mentioned it would take 3 hours for results. He gave me time to allow my husband to get there so we can handle it as a unit. No sooner than he arrived by 2 pm in walks Doctor Ali Hanhnazry, he pulled up Leo's chest x-ray and he had terminal lung cancer. I am full of questions about how his primary vet overlooked this. There was no time for all that. Leo needed me to do the right thing. My family and I decided to lay Leo down to rest Case, Molly, and the entire staff being ever so helpful as we were grief-stricken. We were transferred to a blue room so leo would have oxygen. We were given as much time needed to say our goodbyes. We each held him a few moments. They were very patient and thorough. My daughter's emotional support dog was sick and my daughter was a mess. When we got there they took the dog back and later the veterinarian was good about explaining every thing. We lost our little dog today, Thanksgiving Day, of all days. His trachea collapsed. He had had problems with this in the past. This time it collapsed all the way and he was suffocating. The staff and vet could not have been kinder. The vet kindly and thoroughly explained our options. We gathered around our sweetheart and said our goodbyes, tears streaming down our faces. In the saddest of times, to have such compassionate staff and careful, thoughtful medical care is much appreciated. It makes all the difference. Worst place to go to for an emergency/urgent care. You pay for an emergency rate but you have to wait at least 3 hours for a 5 mins assessment. If you love your pets and you want to help them feel better stay away from this place. read more

Hands down the best care we could have asked for for our doggy. She was in pain, unfortunately we took her elsewhere where she ended up getting paralyzed. Brought her in to see Dr Gorgi and he worked swiftly to help her recover. Now, a few months later, Bella is running around like she used to. Dr Gorgi was compassionate, patient and treated our case as if we were family. I couldn't say enough about positive things about him and his team. Would definitely recommend. read more

She had been struggling with gastrointestinal issues, in and out of the hospital, and I finally realized it was time for an emergency visit. I drove two hours to get to CASE, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. The CSRs were so kind, the doctor (Dr. Rafia! He knows his stuff!!!! He's a keeper! Dont loose him!)took his time explaining a thorough treatment plan, and the techs walked me through everything I needed to do--without any pressure. They truly understood my girl, knowing exactly how to keep her comfortable (including the much-needed booty smacks to lift her spirits!). The love, care, and knowledge from this team are unmatched. Front staff is patient and kind. This place was able to get us in quickly for the specialists when others couldn't, which I appreciated. We made two appointments in one day due to wanting a second opinion for our fur baby. First appointment was with Dr Green an internist. He sounded knowledgable during the appointment but when I called back with a question, he passed it on to the oncologist when it was not a question for that doctor. I called back again asking him to specifically call back and he didn't. Very disappointed wouldn't refer him, hence the overall 3 star review. Dr Mary Kay Blake on the other hand, the oncologist, was great. I give her 5 stars. She was very compassionate and kind in answering our questions. She treats with chemo but we opted not to go that route. She was helpful in prescribing medicine to keep our baby comfortable. The dosage had to be changed a week after. She and the front staff went above and beyond to update the dosage and call it into pharmacy despite my frequent follow ups and calls. The place is clean, efficiently run for the most part, and quick to get in. I recommend for any emergency or needing specialty appointment. read more

8/10/24 Last night I had to bring my cat Chaba in because he was struggling to breathe. Dr. Mendez found a tumor too large to operate on that would bring him back to health. Ultimately I had to say goodbye. From the moment I brought Chaba in, they responded quickly, professionally and with compassion. Everyone worked as a team and worked to give Chubs as much comfort as they could until the end. If I ever have to bring any of my other pets in for an emergency I will bring them here. read more

today was one of the most stressful days with my cat having urination troubles, overall i've been to about 7 different hospitals and vets and they all were no help or overly expensive one of the hospitals said that the checkup would be $200. NO THANK YOU! CASE Animal Hospital was not the case :) they were so amazing, gentle and kind to my Ollie. The doctor was incredible he explained everything with exact detail to me about what he might have and some possible solutions to resolve. Experienced a very scary situation where my doggie had an allergic reaction. It all started with my Tommy began to vomit and become lethargic. He suddenly would not get up when we called his name and would not get up to play with his toy. We then knew something was wrong with him. We were referred by our Vet to go to CASE since they're open 24/7. As soon as we arrived the staff was caring and made sure Tommy received care right away. They took him within a few minutes and had us wait in a room where it was very clean. They kept us updated once they knew what had happened which was about an hour. I understand that this was an emergency situation so figured the pricing would be pricey. In the end he didn't need a certain procedure done and right away refunded us some of the cost. read more
