Dr. Medina is my new Dr. I didn't know what to expect, but I went to my appointment and filled the paperwork for new patients. Then they let me into a room and I waited for Dr. Medina. She came in and was very nice! She listened to my concerns and I felt super comfortable with her. She then gave me some referrals and a new prescription. She cared about my problem and took her time. Very surprised with all the negative reviews! My wife and her parents are long time patients of Dr. Medina. My wife has been a patient for almost 20 years. The doctor has always been a very caring, friendly, and supportive doctor. She is professional and understanding plus she answers all our questions and concerns. Her staff has also been very helpful and friendly as well. There have been times in the past when something has not been done, but when we follow up they apologize and get it done. Yes, wait times have been long once in awhile. Dr. Medina is worth waiting for, though, in our humble opinions. Nowadays, there are too many doctors who do not care about their patients. Medina is not much of a problem she can improve on getting paperwork done in a timely manner tho especially important forms. staff is very unprofessional and rude you can never get them to answer any phone calls they wouldn't even pick up another doctor phone call when it was an emergency regarding medication smh you would be lucky if they even pick up the phone and when she does you are on hold for who knows how long I just wonder if anyone knows how to report this unprofessional behavior. i wouldnt recomend this doctor to anyone first it took a few phones call to finally schedule an appointment. once insaw her she ordered a few things i requested and till this day i have called to be able to get results read to me and has not answered any of my calls ot messages. i finally got through and yhe gal with the res hair answered and said she will you for the results shortly after we hung up and i mean seconds after i called right back ans not once have a i heard back from them and ive left a fee messages to call me back its been its been two weeks since my resukts came in and she has not bothered to contact me. thankfully i can view my results on the portal. i found out through there i was pregnant and yet she hasnt called to notify me. thank god i went my route and looked for an OB was not going to wait for her real bad service read more

Staff is totally rude and unprofessional. In my experience it took me a few days to reach someone who would help me schedule as I am (was going to be) a new patient, the woman who answered the phone was short tempered and placed me on long holds numerous times. Due to the trouble I went through getting in touch with them I decided to KINDLY ask if it was common to have a challenging time scheduling appointments. To which she replied "You have a PPO plan, if you want someone to pick up the phone right away you can call somewhere else." - Needless to say that is exactly what I'll be doing - I see many reviews stating the same experience. I definitely won't be seen by a doctor who isn't checking in with her staff and allows them to treat people who are looking for help like this. I've been going to Dr. Medina since I was a teenager. I will acknowledge the fact that sometimes they do have a long wait time due to their walk-in policy, but that is also why people come back, because you can come in if you need urgent care. I have Lupus, and when I have a flare-up, I need immediate help. Dr. Medina has great authority with the hospitals in that area, and when she says get her a room, there will be a room ready that same night, or the next day. I trust her with my life, because she has saved me on so many occasions. So I will do a trade off for the long wait, in exchange for a Dr. who still cares about my treatment. read more

Dr. Medina is our primary physician and we have used her for several years. We have found her to be very professional and goes out of her way, even with a busy schedule to give each patient the proper care. She is a very professional doctor and has a serious concerned bedside manner. Both my wife and I would highly recommend her for your family care! Keep in mind, you will have to wait when you go to her because of her time she spends with each patient. The average wait we encounter is about 30-45 minutes. But, it is well worth this to see a competent doctor. She has helped my wife when she was severely sick and referred her to an excellent specialist. Dr. Medina is great. She's very nice, friendly, motherly and she cares about her patients. I just wished she had a different group of staff that was more organized and caring like her. The office staff that I've encountered weren't mean but scattered, preoccupied and didn't show compassion like Dr. Medina did. Granted, it did get busy when I was there, but the few times I've been there it just seems like there's no method in handling patients vs the phones and whatever else came up. If Dr. Medina had better staff or a good office manager, I think it would be more pleasant to come there. read more

Horrible Doctor and very unprofessional. Her tech/ secretary openly expressed personal opinions of other patients. Including saying " no one wants to be their dr because they are so annoying" The dr and tech spoke right in front of the room I was in with the door ajar in another language which seemed to sound like a personal conversation. Usually doctors/techs knock on the room door before entering not only was the door left ajar the entire time no one ever knocked. Dr. Medina is incredibly generous and accommodating. The reason there is a wait, and there usually is in ANY clinic, is because she will take in walks in for anxious and worried patients. And so the reason there may be a wait is because she accommodates those who beg for a last minute appointment/walk in. Dr. Medina also makes sure her patients are completely satisfied and all their questions have been answered and that is why she takes her time and does not try to just rush out patients. Avoid at all costs. Although Dr. Medina is great, the receptionist (Lita) has no idea what she's doing. She's completely unprofessional and has made doctor visits a complete drag. Avoid this office. They never answer the phone, you page the doctor she doesn't call. Her staff is rude, when they do answer the phone they put you on long holds and come back they clearly forgot you were on hold. They take a 2 hour break, getting and appointment is always a problem. They just don't care and take on more patients than they can handle, or so it seems. I'm switching doctors as soon as possible.
