Dr. Jordan Bolles is one of the best endodontist in the Pacific Northwest!…read moreWe are so fortunate to have him and his staff locate in Yakima. I have had numerous root canals done in PNW large cities and Dr. Bolles ranks on the top! Selecting the Best endodontist is important for everyone, since we all want to be able to save our teeth and have them for the rest of our lives if at all possible. What I truly respected about Dr. Bolles is that he explained up- front that my tooth could be cracked and the only way he would know for sure is to go inside and look at the tooth canal with his operating microscope. This microscope greatly enhance his ability to view the tiniest details inside, and because of his expertise in diagnosis and treatment he was able to save my tooth. Selecting the right endodontist I feel is so important. My selection is based on 4 things: the doctor's education and the schools he attended for his specialty---all were excellent; his staff has experience, and most of all a caring attitude; his dental equipment is state-of-the-art, and his price is fair and reasonable--please compare I think you will surprised with the savings. Just recently received my first root canal with Dr. Bolles and was totally pleased, and tomorrow my second one will be done. Always getting the numbing injection is the hardest part, but Susan allowed the numbing gel to stay on the injection site by leaving the long Q-tip on for a while---I was able to hold it right where I needed to, for me pain is no gain. As you can probably tell I am beyond pleased by the whole experience!

Very impressed! Where do I begin…read more I thought about writing about my horrific experience with my previous dental office (Gentle Dental) that led me here, but this is where I want to Praise Dr. Elkhal and his amazing team. Long story short I was told that I needed a tooth extracted and that I needed to have implants in place at the cost of 4k. First they said they could retreat and then later decided it wasn't an option. I needed a second opinion and sought out another dental office. I ended up at Rose City dental. (Highly recommend Rose City as well) They referred me to Endodontics Limited. I had been in a lot of pain and was told that the only way out of my pain was extraction. Dr. Elkhal worked me in same day due to my special circumstances with pain. I noticed the difference immediately. The friendly receptionist who cared about my visit. Not just processing paperwork. The calming environment was a change from other offices I had been to. Dr. Elkhal brought me in and performed an evaluation and agreed that there was an infection but due to incredible swelling and current pain he would recommend to wait until the swelling went down. His evaluation led him to believe that the root canal could indeed be retreated and he wanted to save the tooth. I was prescribed antibiotics and we scheduled. The procedure went extremely well. I have had a few root canals and this one was by far the best. Dr. Elkhal is a true professional. It comes through in his explanation of the process. He explained step by step what we were doing to and why. I have never experienced this level of service from anyone in this industry. I am a Service Manager of an automotive service department and appreciate and recognize what Dr. Elkhal and his staff are providing. If you are in need of a root canal, I highly encourage you to seek out Dr. Elkhal! You will not be disappointed.

Who wants a root canal? I think we can safely assume that no one really wants one…read more That said, I've had four over a couple of decades, most recently yesterday. I had been putting it off for almost a year but knew that the longer I delayed, the more problems might crop up. I called Endoconic Specialty Group in Gresham on Tuesday. They schedule me for a consultation the next day. After going over the process and answering all of my questions, I was able to schedule the procedure for the same day as the office had a cancellation for later in the afternoon Everyone in the office was courteous and efficient. X-rays were taken to make sure everyone knew what was ahead and I was perfectly numbed by Dr. Vaughan. (I've never had such a totally painless experience.) A protective dam was installed to help with keeping it all clean and I was offered an option when I initally tensed up at the process. (I have a pretty strong gag reflex but the dental assistant worked gently and slowly, making sure I was comfortable with the device as she installed it.) The process took about an hour. I used my earbuds and music to distract me while they drilled away. I had mentioned problems that I had endured during previous root canals and it appears that Dr. Vaughan was able to get the job done without a recurrence of these problems. I was given specific post-op instructions on pain management and we discussed when I should call my regular dentist to schedule crown prep and cleaning -- in a couple of weeks. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this office to anyone needing a professional and painless root canal. One day later, I have no pain. Thank you.

Terrible communication and poor customer service!…read more I made an appointment for 1/21/25 back in August, because it was the soonest available new patient exam. Upon the lead up to this appointment, I received only text confirmations from the office, to which I replied "yes, I confirm." I was sent the paperwork to fill out one week before the appointment, and as I was at work, I filled out the sections I knew off the top of my head, but since it was January, I didn't have my new 2025 insurance card with me. That section was not marked as required (unlike others), so I figured I could grab my card at home and bring it in to the appointment, like ALL OTHER OFFICES allow. Next thing I know, it's Friday afternoon (and Monday is a holiday) at 2pm and I receive a voicemail from the office stating this is my final chance to give them my insurance card. Final chance? When was I informed of previous chances? I'm at work; I don't have it, and I'm not able to call them immediately. At 3:30pm, I receive a text saying my appointment has been cancelled. After waiting four months, I have been cancelled because they couldn't wait longer than 1.5 hours to get my card. I looked at the online system, and it said the next appointment was 4/30/25. I left work early - they're open until 5pm - to call them at 4:45 to try to get this fixed, but there is no answer after 15 minutes on hold. Monday is a holiday, and nobody calls me back Tuesday morning - the morning of my appointment. So I call them AGAIN and wait 15 minutes on hold. The lady is not understanding or apologetic at all. She now says their next appointment is for the end of June. How did it go from April to June if they haven't been open or taking new appointments? Why can't I just have my original time? How did they fill it within 15 minutes? I just said I wanted to cancel, and I'm glad I did. I will now find a dentist with better policies, communications, and staff. Good riddance!
