I moved out of Dunedin about 20 years ago but was looking for a repair for my walker. I went to many places and meant to call Medicine Shoppe. I finally did and they were amazing. I called, I went in and in 15 minutes they repaired my walker for a minimal fee. But most importantly was the friendly attitude of everyone that worked there. After a disagreement he started yelling in a language I didn't understand but after giving me the middle finger 4 times in front of his staff and customers I said, "Oh I get what your saying now try it in English." Long story short he has been filling controlled substances to my wife for years to me. He is required for every controlled substances to ask for ID. Never once do he ask me and for all he knows I could have been selling them in the streets. We get in an argument about the price of the drugs and he refuses to fill the script. After having him cuss me out and giving me the middle finger 4 times I leave. I go to Walgreens with the script and they not only asked for ID but called my wife's doctor and my wife. I didn't mind, I was treated with respect. The script was filled and the next thing I get home and my wife is in tears because this jerk threatened to call the Dea on her!!! She had a valid script and he is the one the Dea needs to talk to. You can't fill a controlled substance script without proper authentication and he is the one the Dea needs to look into. I filed a complaint with the bbb and his stores website. My review disappeared within hours. Beware of this guy. Could be part of something nefarious?

I purchased a great walker from these folks, but the purchasing process was a nightmare…read more I paid full price for the walker and asked my insurance carrier and Active Mobility for reimbursement. The insurance company sent the reimbursement check to Activity and they sent part of my reimbursement to me. They kept part of my reimbursement to "balance bill" which is against their contract with Medicare and Ultimate The math is simple. The walker cost me $260. I have a deductible of $52. The insurance company sent Active a check for $55.56 and I am owed 152.44. Instead, they sent me a check for $111. and I can't get anyone to talk to me about the balance. Up until this point, their customer service has been excellent but I am upset this process has taken so long.
