My review is Not specific to this particular agent but i cant figure out how to leave a general review for Geico. I opened a claim at the end of september(Claim # 886-944-071-0000-001) because my vehicle was hit while parked and i didnt have any of the other vehicle/driver's information. I filed a police report and paired that with my claim. The resolution of the claim/investigation was that my vehicle had this damage prior to me even opening my policy with Geico! When i call to get more information on that ridiculous conclusion, that specific department can not be contacted by the public...Convenient!! so i am left to pay to fix my front drivers side bumper myself. Wont be renewing my policy when it ends ! to call Geico a subpar agency is an understatement. Thats so awful al i can do is laugh. read more

GEICO cancelled my auto insurance without notifying me. I was on autopay for a full year and had no idea anything was wrong. Went in went to register my truck today I discovered I have been uninsured for 8 MONTHS!! This could've absolutely ruined my life. They then declined to reopen my policy because I use my truck to drop oysters off at the market for work so it's now considered a "commercial vehicle" Geico is astoundingly incapable of taking care of its clients and I am shocked at the lack of communication for a company of their caliber. read more

Total regret switching over to this company. The saying is very true, "You get what you pay for" and even then, their prices are not that cheap. Someone hit my parked car. Filed the police report, gave them all the info, still doing all the leg work that other insurance companies do, and they will not help and will not file action against the other party. I was in a car accident over 6 years ago and the other vehicle was going over 60 mph in a 30 mph zone, I was knocked out unconscious, I had pictures that showed if the other vehicle was doing the speed limit that our cars would have been interlocked. Their vehicle was over 70 feet away , pictures to prove. Geico did not go to bat for me and they suck. The reviews are correct, cheaper until you get into a car accident as they do. It care. After this is over and I over paid $25,000 dollars I am switching. GEICO SUCKS AND THE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! BEAWRE !! read more

I have been a customer of Geico for over 17 years with my auto insurance, which does not include my apartment insurance. The parking garage where I work placed a barrel to deter drivers from going around the gate which needs a pass. When I took the right to go into the garage, there was a barrel that was placed there overnight. In order for me not to get into the outcoming cars, I had to drive around the barrel and then quickly get into the right lane. Unfortunately, I swiped the side of my car. I offered to pay the claim directly with the auto body shop since it was less than $3k. The CSR at Geico told me that they would take my years of a customer "17" combined with a perfect driving record and no claims for 17 years. Guess what? They raised my premiums for the next 3 years by $400 which coincidently covers their costs since I paid a $1,000 deductible. What is really outrageous, is if you want that 17 years to be considered, you have to "pay them" for accident forgiveness. WHAT A SCAM these insurance companies do. read more

I had a really bad experience with their home insurance division. Like others have mentioned, they gave a very low initial rate and then basically doubled it once I had signed on for 6 months of business. I would definitely not recommend them for their homeowners insurance division. read more

These guys are fine if you've never had an accident. I haven't had an accident in 20 years...then slid into a snow bank, got some bumper damage, and my insurance DOUBLED. Gieco explains I lost all of my safe driver discounts...and without the discount their rate is pretty much the highest in the industry. Not to mention they raised my insurance the day I called them, no investigation. If I'm the only car involved, it's my fault according the Gieco. My insurance has doubled and my car hasn't even returned from the shop. It's just bad business if you ask me. Now I need to switch insururers and appeal the at-fault...waste of my time. read more

geico is the worst company. they charge too much then don't cover the full price of your car if totaled even with full coverage and i was not found at fault. i ended up paying $6000 from my own pocket to pay off the rest of my car. never use them! read more

Geico is not what they advertise , my son recently got stopped in my car. Thay towed it for lack of insurance and in Mass they pull the registration. I knew I had insurance. I had changed from progressive to Geico back in November 2018. Progressive reported cancelled but Geico never sent in their start of insurance. Then come to find out Geico had the wrong VIN number. I researched and found my car buying information, had the VIN# which matched Progressive. But somehow Geico h as d 2 of the numbers wrong. I called they checked, yep they have the wrong #. I asked to be reimbursed for the ticket my son recieved towing and storage fees over 500. The person talked with her supervisor who said no, we don't do that. So I asked to speak with her, she came on asked for the whole story all over again. I asked weren't you working with the agent? All of a sudden she said hello hello is there anyone there, and she hung up on me! I was not on a cell phone I a look was on my desk phone. The next day I called back went through everything again, nope we don't psy that.also I reviewed the new paperwork to go to the registry with that the agent the day before sent me. Well the new paperwork now had 2 numbers in the VIN wrong! So I told them all of this the agent sent me to her supervisor, who investigated and the answer finally must have been me telling them the wrong number. Because the keys on their keyboard are not close to each other for them to hit it by mistake. Well in my world the 5 and 6 are next to each other. The answer was no cannot pay anything. I asked for the supervisors name from the night before and of course no we cannot do that either. I am so frustrated, cost 500.00 and my son has to take a day off from work to go to court.
