I went through Yelp to look for a reputable contractor to repair my broken garage door springs. David was the first to respond. He was knowledgeable, professional and patient when I asked many questions. After reading his Yelp reviews and his reviews on some Other sites, I was satisfied that he would know what he was doing. I was very pleased that he was able to work around my work schedule and came to my home after I returned from work the same day that we spoke. He arrived around the time that he said he would. He even let me know prior to his arrival that he would be arriving in 30 minutes. I appreciate the good communication. Once he arrived, he identified the problem--wrong size spring installed by the previous homeowners. He also explained that the springs on my Other door, while not broken in half, were on their way out and also the wrong size for my door which is why they were stretched and misshapen. Showed up on time. Proactively and politely explained how I could insulate the door myself. He showed me where to place the weatherstrip on the exterior and charged me a $35 service charge. I spent the time and found a much more effective (aesthetically pleasing) way by placing strips on the inside. Read good things about them, so called and made agreement with them to purchase an Amarr 12' door through them. A door (Clopay) was delivered (Late) and it was in December with very bad weather and unfortunately our contractor installed the door Immediately before we caught that it was the wrong door. We contacted the company but since it had already been installed, we did not require the door be removed and replaced. The Clopay door is adequate but not the special door we ordered and paid for. We were very disappointed and felt David Z did not put out any effort on our part. read more

Thank you for being honest and straightforward on what i needed with my garage door opener. I dealt with many people on a daily basis and when i met David, I just felt that I could rely on him. I sensed it that he could be trusted. It may be cold outside when i asked for supposedly an estimate only, but when he gave me the price of complete installation including parts and labor, I just said to myself go with it. I just don't have the time to be meeting others to get an estimates and probably be in the same ballpark when it comes to pricing. David offered me a very reasonable price. Upon installation David noticed there was a very minor dent in one of the panels and brought this to my attention.
