It was 4:45 on Thursday, I called ahead of time, David said he could take walk-in's. $30 for a cut. Great. David was super sweet and reasonably priced. I sat down, we chatted, nice guy, but cuts ends off ends with an electric razor (I did ask for dead ends to be cut) not cutting sheers, he didn't even part hair in the middle, just cuts my unevenly parted hair. Nowash, no style, literally 5 minutes and done! I wasn't looking for the salon experience, $30 is cheap but a razor and not cutting even hair parts - BIG no. I've seen the sign for $19 haircut many times while driving down Kanan and we finally decided to stop and try it out when my 11 year old needed a haircut. We pulled in the parking lot and the business name is David's Beauty Supply, which is a bit confusing. We walked in and were greeted by the nicest guy ever (David). He was extremely personable and friendly. He spoke to my son and asked how he wanted his hair, and continued checking with him till it was perfect. David was talkative and friendly the whole time, what a great experience. We left there saying to each other "He was the nicest guy ever!". I found this place in the paper and saw he had a deal going on for New clients $25 for any hairstyle. So I decided to go get some more highlights done to my hair I had previous ones but my previous hairstylist went Mia on me so I decided to give him a chance. Anyways when I got there I told him exactly what I wanted It only took him an hour to do everything including highlights wash and dry now please tell me how that doesn't sound right I specifically told him when he was done there some spots missing can you fix them he kept telling me oh no it's OK just do your hair this way it won't even show. I get home I wash my hair I blow dry it and I notice there's a bunch of spots missing so I called him and asked him if he could fix it I go back he fixes them but then again I noticed when I get home there's tons of spots missing as you can see down below this was the 2nd time he did my hair. I called him and got into an argument with him because I wanted him to fix my hair the way I had wanted and he basically told me you get what you pay for not only did he screw up my hair horribly but he was so extremely unprofessional it was disgusting. If you care about your hair i highly suggest you don't go there. I would literally pay the extra money to go to somebody that's gonna do exactly what I want and do it the right way. read more
