I went into David's Bridal looking for a wedding dress. I am decisive and had cash in hand to make the purchase. I had a list of dresses to try and was organized with my shoes, slip and robe for the appointment. I was on my own, as my family lives far away and I didn't want an entourage. To start with, I followed the consultant around the store looking for dresses. Then we went back into the furthest, darkest change room (of about 15 rooms) and I got ready in my slip and bra. I was ready a long time before the consultant returned to help me. She was sweet, but didn't make an effort to talk to me or ask about styles or likes. Once I had the dress on, I emerged from the room but never made it up to the mirror area to see all sides, there was another bride-to-be with a screaming baby and a strange man sitting out there and I didn't feel comfortable trying to hustle her out of the way for a look at the gown that felt pretty average. This happened over and over, I waited a considerable amount of time for the consultant to pull gowns - there was no seat in the change room, so I was standing in there for extended periods of time in my underwear, listening to the crying baby. Maybe I should avoid stores like this more for the other clientele than the badly beaten up sample dresses or dimly lit change rooms and hospital green carpet. Nothing about this store made me feel special or excited. The only dress I liked was over $1000 which is more than the one I found at a small, local boutique store. Needless to say, I walked out with my $1000 and am not going back! Since my visit I have had phone calls and text messages telling me I won a honeymoon, if I buy timeshare etc. I have also had calls from Mary Kay. I don't like my information being sent out to other parties and I didn't like Davids Bridal at all. Yuck! read more

Terrible service from the start! The store is unorganized and the staff, well there just aren't any kind words for that. After waiting about 10 minutes I was finally assisted, the lady grabs two dresses off the rack and says " you can try these one, one is smaller and the other larger and we can go from there". It seemed pretty standard so I went with it. She brought me to the dressing room and pointed to the front dress saying, "this one is the smaller one." I put it on and it fell right off so I looked at the tag...... SIZE 18. I know I am curvy but DAMN.... I am no size 18. I looked at the other dress she brought SIZE 20! I almost started to cry. When people look at me do they think I am that fat? Incase you are reading this and think I am full of shit, I am a comfortable 10/12. I may not always be happy with it but I am comfortable. Moral of the story I ended up trying on a 10, which she seemed reluctant to give me and you know what?! IT FIT! I felt that her attitude was demoralizing and rude, especially for someone working in a woman's dress store. I mean come on. I guess that's why they look to be the "Dollar General" of wedding dresses. I ordered my dress from the internet , I refuse to spend one penny in that store. read more

This place sucked! They were 20 minutes later when we had made an appointment at 630. The women that was supposed to help us went off and didn't even help us! She didn't even know what she was doing! Terrible service!!! Would not recommend anyone to go here!!!! read more

Jewell at David's Bridal is amazing!!!! She took her time with me and really helped me find the perfect dress. I have a small budget so I bought a clearance dress and Oh my it is beautiful! She found my size and ordered it for me from another store and also helped me with accessories and shoes. I have to say I walked in doubting I would be buying a dress from there (bc originally I was planning on buying a very simple dress) and walked out SO HAPPY I had found the dress of my dreams (and I didn't even know it lol) and all within budget! I rate this store a negative 5 stars, I wish I would have researched this store. Davids Bridal has been the biggest disappointment, I would not recommend this store to anyone. The first visit they set me up in the computer and assigned me a sales rep who meet with me for 2 hours and I pick a dress only to find out on the second trip the girl did not record any of the information. and the second trip they assigned another sales rep who takes 1 hour to find the dress. the 3 trip I find out those sales reps no longer worked there and the dress I have ordered will not look like the dress I chose.....ugh. I now have another sales rep. who I haven't seen in 2 weeks. I move on because I have already paid this store $400.00 that is nonrefundable and choose a different dress for $500.00 more. Now I find out today that one of my bridesmaid dresses came in messed up. we have 8 weeks before the wedding and they claim its not enough time. I would not recommend this store to anybody planning a wedding. It truly has been a nightmare. I rate this store a negative 5 stars read more

David's Bridal has really terrible service. The woman was rude when I ordered my bridesmaid dress, giving me a hard time about when I ordered it. I ordered it at the end of August for a late November wedding. The girl on the phone was very snooty and chastising! I didn't order early, certainly, but I ordered in more than enough time. Then they never called to tell me my bridesmaid dress was in the store. I was worried and called them. I can call, that's fine, I know how to use the phone, but why couldn't they call to tell me my dress came in? I find them to be discourteous, completely snooty with absolutely no reason to be, and would not recommend them unless your standards for service are low. They are the McDonald's of bridesmaid dress stores. As long as you keep your standards at a certain level (super low), you won't be disappointed. read more

experience #1- I am 6ft tall and so is my sister. I brought my girls for my wedding to try on bridesmaids dresses. The sales lady said that ALL of the dresses come in extra length. Then after trying on dresses for 30 minutes I we decided on a dress that all of the 6 bridesmaids liked. Of course, this dress did not come in extra length. Keep in mind that my girls were not let free into the store to choose dresses to try on. I let the sales woman bring the dresses to my girls because I had simple requirements, extra length and satin. That is all we needed. I swore I would never go back. I brought my girls to Alfred Angelo that same day and they all bought their dresses there. experience #2: I ordered a bridesmaid dress for a wedding that I was standing in. I called the store 3 weeks prior to the wedding to check on the order status of my dress. I wanted to make sure I had time for alterations to be done. The saleswoman told me that my dress was in for a week and that nobody called me to let me know. I asked about alterations. The lady said that if I would have called yesterday that alterations would have been done in time, but because I called on this day I was going to have to pay a RUSH FEE of $40 to get my alterations completed in time. experience #3: I swore I would never go back to David's bridal yet I was asked to be in another wedding. I tried on a knee length red dress that fit great. It was the floor dress but I decided to pay layaway on it so that I didn't have to go through the hassle of ordering it. I payed on it every two weeks until it was paid off. Since the dress fit just fine I wasn't going to need alterations. I paid off the dress about a week before the wedding. I put on the dress about 30 minutes before I have to walk down the isle with the other bridesmaids and I feel something hitting my leg. The security tag was left on the dress. I didn't know what else to do. The bride told me that since the tag was on the inside layer of fabric just to cut it out of the dress, so I did. Ruined the dress from ever wearing it again. I called the store the very next day to let them know that they had left a security tag on my dress. I didn't want a refund but just wanted them to be aware that their security tags are useless if they don't actually beep on the way out the door. I also wanted them to check other dresses they sell a little better to make sure I was the last person who had this problem. The lady on the phone was very rude. After telling her my problem, she told me "ok" and hung up. experience #4: I am going today to try on my bridesmaid dress for another wedding I am in. i called yesterday and conveniently my dress had been in for a month now and they didn't call me. I'm glad I called to check. This wedding is in 2 weeks and I plan on getting my alterations done somewhere else. My 5th experience will not happen. I have given this place more than a fair chance to change their ways. read more

I went into David's Bridal on what seemed to be a busy Saturday. Although, they worked by appointment, I was still met with a friendly face. I was just looking, I am not even engaged yet. As I was looking, one young lady checked on me. Tara, told me that if I needed anything, please ask anyone. She actually stated "we are all super friendly. Ask anyone for help if you have a question!!". I thought o myself, that is a lot of faith in her coworkers. Next thing I know, I did have questions. I did not see Tara but Heather was cleaning in the wedding dresses. At that point, I had tons of questions. She was so nice. And seemed to know everything!! I showed her one picture of a dress I was thinking about and she showed me five that was better!!! I know I will be coming to book an appointment with her. Tara was right, everyone was sweet!!! Everyone was smiling. I bothered several other people. I was so pleased, I made sure I grabbed Heather and Tara's name as to tell of my experience. A+++ read more

My mom, sister, and I went into David's Bridal seeking a prom dress for myself, but my sister has an upcoming wedding next year, so we just decided to look for both in one trip. We set up an appointment and only had to wait about 30 minutes to meet our bridal consultant, which isn't bad, so we were looking around for prom dresses while we waited. They had a wide variety of prom dresses in a wide variety of prices. I found a prom dress I really liked, got right in the dressing room to try it on. The bridal consultant was ready for us, so another employee asked if she wanted to hold my dress until we were done. She was very nice. Our consultant, Natasha, was very sweet and helpful. She put everything together very nicely and worked to get us the best deal possible. Natasha told us everything we needed to know and was very informative. We end up leaving with a prom dress for myself, and a beautiful wedding dress for my sister. Highly recommend. read more
