If I could give a negative review, I would. I bought a pair of shoes on 7/28/2022 for my wedding in Sept. Turns out they are very uncomfortable so I needed to return them. Due to being sick I wasn't able to make the 7 day return window and came on day 8. Manager said absolutely not and "sent an email" to corporate asking about it but she doesn't know when they will respond. My only option is for a store credit for which I have no use because everything else is purchased. Y'all! Don't sleep on this David's Bridal. I came in to find a formal dress for a work dinner with my husband. I was terrified. I am so insecure and I was worried about dressing up. I picked out the safest dress I could find. Ashley helped me try on and I was mortified. It looked awful. She asked me my Jean size and came back with the perfect dress. I would have never tried it on my own, and I was just doing it to make her happy. However, it looked amazing! I've never felt so beautiful. The in house alterations expert (Huda) then came over and helped me with a shawl to elevate the look. When I tell you I about cried in this store, I mean it. Today I went with my daughter to look at wedding gowns. The associate assigned to her was nice and seemed ready to find her a gown when she introduced herself. My daughter shared some dresses with her that she would like to try on. Off the attendant went to search for a couple of them. The appointment quickly took a turn when she just handed my daughter a dress told her to try it on and walked away. No assistance was offered to help her actually get in to the gown. The last gown my daughter tried on was the last gown she tried on because the attendant handed her the gown and said this one is a size &@, so it won't fit you, here try it on. Talk about throwing someone's self esteem out the window. There was never any clipping of straps or dresses to give the illusion of how they would fit. Never any "floofing" of a train or hem to show the entire dress. She even walked off to talk to another associate at one point. When we were leaving the associates were talking rudely to each other in front of us. They not only lost our business for a wedding gown for this daughter and her bridesmaids dresses, but for any other future weddings or special occasions we plan or attend. read more

This is the WORST David's bridal I have ever been to. I bought my dress at a David's in Tennessee and came here for alterations/to look for a belt and veil. I had a mask but my mom, who just had BRAIN SURGERY- cannot wear one due to her recent surgery. And she got yelled at by 6 different employees. One employee was so rude and we told her why and she said "ok don't make excuses" And then we brought in my dress- and when we were leaving we got accused of STEALING my own dress!!!!! The worst service, the meanest employees, how can anyone be excited about a wedding when being treated so rudely? Absolutely ridiculous. 100/10 do not recommend. read more

If I could give less stars I would. We have been here two times now with less than optimal service. First time, my best friend who is the bride, had to wait for 30 minutes to get a room. We had an appointment, but still had to wait a good amount of time. Consultant was over booked and was managing three different brides. We had to wait 10-20 minutes for various dresses. Bride tried on 4 dresses and it took 2 hours. Seating is old and crummy. Facility is dank and stains on the carpet. We went back this weekend to look for bridesmaid dresses. We had an appointment. Three bridesmaids. We showed our picks to our consultant, she stated "we don't have those" and pointed to a poster on the wall. The look book clearly states in stores and online. The styles they carry are minimal at best. Consultant took us back to the changing rooms. We ended up having to pull our own dresses, because our consultant disappeared. I was looking at some higher quality dresses and the consultant told me no, that those are mother of the bride. If she had asked what we we looking for she would have gathered that we were interested in elegant styles since it's an evening wedding. Finally, our consultant disappeared for the rest of the appointment. Our bride was fetching the various sizes for us, until we grew tired of the lack of service. By looking at the rating of this store on yelp, they need some serious help. The wedding experience is lacking, and their consultants need training on customer service. Will not be back. read more

The lady who helped me wasn't interested in what I wanted or care what dress would look good on me, the bride! I told her I wanted lace up, she only showed ONE dress (the first one) with a laced back. When she laced the back of my first dress, she kept mumbling this takes forever, the lace up is always such a pain. I've told her what I wanted and showed her some pictures of dresses I found online; none of the dresses she showed me remotely closed to what I was looking for. I kept repeating myself the type of dress I was looking for, she nodded and then left (20 minutes at a time), came back with a dress that's completely opposite of I wanted. She kept saying, "oh I just sold this to a bride the other day and it looked cute on her" or "it's our signature look." I don't care how it looks on other brides! Also, she kept repeating if you buy today we can blah blah blah or you should get it today because of our sale with discount on this and that. And you really need to get it today so we can get it alter, we get very busy very quickly... Umm, my wedding is at least 1 year away. On top of that, all the dresses she bought out were at least 2 times my size. So there were bunches of lips on my back. She kept saying oh we can alter to fit you, which would probably cost more than ordering one that would fit just right! She kept on adding other accessories, veil, necklace, gloves... when I didn't even like any of the dresses I tried on... It was a horrible experience! I will never go back to this David's Bridal!!! read more

I bought my wedding dress at the David's Bridal in Franklin, TN. I decided to get it altered at the Huntsville location since it was closer to home. I could not imagine a greater experience than the one I had with the alteration ladies at David's Bridal Huntsville! They were absolute angels and made so many wonderful memories during the stressful time of planning a wedding. My fiancé is in the Army, and could only get a week of leave two months after our engagement. Needless to say, once I found my dress the alterations would have to be rushed. Ms. Alma and her team were able to meet my very close deadline with perfect alterations, also waiving the rush order fee. I bought my dress for full price, even though it was a floor model and had a few tears in the train (that Ms. Alma noticed). She tried but couldn't get me a refund or discount on my dress because corporate told her it was too high on the market. So instead she offered to give me discounts on alterations if I kept that dress. I decided to do that and it was SO worth it! She worked miracles for me! The ladies helped me accessorize the dress for my big day, and made me feel beautiful! They had my mother and I laughing the entire time and even cried with my mom over the sentimental moment. I picked my dress up this evening, giving big hugs to my favorite ladies at David's Bridal. I am so thankful I went here to get my alterations done! read more

Horrible service. My sister in law is getting married. She went to get a dress ordered, but when it came in, they had ordered the wrong dress. She had to get the dress in store altered to get size. We went to pick it up today, but they had "put it in the wrong alteration line" so it wasn't ready. The wedding is less than three days away. read more

I took my sins GF prom dress shopping today. As I had recently located here, I had no idea today was the prime day for prom, balls and other formal events. Needless to say we walked into storm. The lady at the reception desk was a bit frazzled and was turning away brides... but I insisted that we were looking for prom and didn't need much help other than a fitting room when we were ready. She looked at me skeptically and we were off. During our search, we met Tiara.. she was fantastic! We had multiple dresses to try on. Tiara found us a room and helped us with sizes and suggested a dress that we both looked over. My sons GF looked amazing in this dress. It fit her like a glove! I had a really bad experience with this location. There was another appointment booked at the same time as mine, and since they beat me to the welcoming desk, I stood there for twenty minutes until they left and I was finally allowed to sit down. The consultant (I do not remember her name) handed me a catalogue and told me to pick dresses I liked. There was no discussion and she did not ask me any questions. I asked if I could look at the actual dress racks and was told no. After picking several dresses, I was told I was only allowed to pick three. She also told me (AFTER I had chosen) that only plus size dresses would fit me. She had not taken my measurements or anything; she had made that assessment based on my appearance. Once I marked my choices, the consultant pulled dresses while I was in the changing room. I was given shapewear and told I wouldn't be allowed to try on dresses if I didn't use it, despite my initial refusal (I will not be using shapewear at my wedding). I also had to wear heels and couldn't try on dresses barefoot. I am unaware if this is store policy or not, and if it is, I understand; it was just presented to me in an incredibly harsh manner and it made me very uncomfortable. I asked for no short dresses to be pulled, but one was pulled that I hadn't seen before. I put it on just to move the appointment along, and the consultant oohed and aahed at the dress, which I disliked. I wanted to take it off quickly, but I was told, "but it looks so good on you! Don't take it off yet!" I then put on one of my picks, which I liked, but the consultant told me I looked horrible in it. She tried to usher me back into the dressing room before I could even see the back of the dress. At this point I had had enough and asked for the appointment to end. I left in tears. This was my first wedding dress shopping experience and it made me absolutely terrified to go back to another salon. I felt like my weight was the focus of the appointment; I was never asked about my wedding or fiancé, was pushed to conform to the consultant's ideas, and wasn't even allowed to look at dresses on the rack. On David's Bridal website, it says walk-ins are welcomed. I walked in today at a decent time when it did not look busy to look at Wedding dresses. I was told to wait for someone to come help us. Once the person who did the appointments and wedding gown shopping appeared, she asked me if I had an appointment. I told her no that I saw that walk-ins were welcomed and wanted to simply look at wedding dresses to get an idea of what I wanted. I was told I was not allowed to touch, look, or try on wedding dresses without an appointment and that I could only be looking at the dresses if I had a personal stylist helping me. A personal stylist could only help me if I had an appointment. I would give them no stars if I could. Why could I and my wedding party (my mom and my fiancé's mom) not just look at what styles I would like to try on at an later appointment?? I got the feeling I was not welcomed and I felt like the whole, "you can look at clearance though" was inappropriate. I get it if I can't try on by myself, but I just wanted to look after realizing I needed an appointment. I got my dress elsewhere and am so glad I did! read more

I recently bought a wedding dress online from a different company, I am currently in the process of trying to return it since the fit and look were not what I wanted. I decide to walk in to David's without an appointment this evening and Ke'Andra asked if I needed any help. I told her I was just browsing, but mentioned what I was looking for. She started helping me find a few dresses and took her time finding the perfect accessories for "the one". Everyone was so kind in there, I really don't understand the low reviews I've seen. I'm not an easy to fit person either, I'm 5'10 and a size 16, and didn't want sleeveless. I'm glad I stopped by today and can't recommend David's Bridal and Ke'Andra enough! read more

She had an appointment but we still ended up waiting at least 30-40 minutes for her consultant to help her. She got the gown she picked out online after trying a lot of other dress picks from her consultant that were not at all what she was looking for. We also looked at bridesmaid dresses, but they all seemed very low quality and cheaply made. Not worth 100 plus dollars. Even though we could've gotten a discount on bridesmaid dresses since the bride got her dress there, we still chose to go somewhere else. Overall, not the best experiences here. read more

I took one of my bridesmaids in there to try on dresses and the lady told her to hurry up and try on dresses because she had more work to do in the back. She then just left and started helping someone else. Once the manager came over to help, she was a bit nicer but she ended up leaving to help someone else also. I was very displeased with the service and a little upset. All except one of my bridesmaids live out of town, so David's Bridal would have been ideal for my wedding party but I wouldn't dare step foot in another David's Bridal!! First of all let me start off by saying I live in New York.....I cannot begin to describe to you how these ladies especially Trisha and Maryann went above and beyond for me!! The dress I needed for my sisters wedding was discontinued and the style and my size was nowhere to be found at all!! Except this little gem way down south in Alabama!! I called and she went out of her way to dig in the back room and an hour later I got a phone call telling me she found it and would be able to ship right to my house!! Amen!! Went there today to help pick out a dress for my sister. We walked in not knowing where to look, what to look for or even the colors. The women that helped us were incredible. We told them our budget and what style she preferred , and tabitha spent time with us and found some beautiful dresses that were what we were looking for. I feel like she gave us 100 percent of her attention and then some. An hour or two later my sister found a dress she fell in love with along with a sash. One of the things I like most about tabitha is she didn't try to talk us into a higher priced dress, and she made us feel like friends of hers and not just a store's profit. My daughter needed a dress for a special occasion and we ended up having a good experience at David's. Lawanda could not have been more helpful. She spent so much time with us and kept working until we found the perfect dress. We had gone the day before and met with a different consultant who was not quite as helpful and had misrepresented what could be done to alter one of the dresses. Thankfully the next day we had Lawanda, who virtually had the entire staff helping us find a dress that was even better than what we were hoping for! read more

She came back 15 min later and said "sorry guys, I'm going to get the next dresses for you" and we turn around and she's helping someone else with shoes... This happened 2 other times and when she came back again she said "sorry guys, we are busy and that's just how it goes." So we left and went to another shop. I don't know how they sell a single dress with that kind of service. I don't care how busy you are, we made an appointment a month in advance therefore we should have been her top priority. I was terribly disappointed at the service we received a David's Bridal today. I regret purchasing my dress from them now. I bought my dress a few weeks ago. I went to pick it up today and the lady asked if I wanted to try it on...I said sure and she put it in a dressing room and disappeared. I had one of my bridesmaids and one of my flower girls with me who were also interested in purchasing today. After that, we could not get ANYONE to help us. The store was not busy at all- so much so that there was someone sitting at the front calling other brides on the phone to ask if they had already found bridesmaids dresses. They missed on two sales that were right in the store. We found the type of dress for the bridesmaid and flower girl and will find them elsewhere to purchase. After I tried on the dress I wasn't sure what to do so I went to the front counter before I left. The lady said, "Uhh...did you sign for this dress?". How could I sign for something when all of the sales people were no where to be found? Very disappointed in customer service. I suppose once you buy the dress they are done. I will be cancelling my alterations appointment with them and buying my veil somewhere else as well. read more

My stylist was very sweet and helpful. I was able to find just what I had envisioned. However, when I was in the fitting room, I asked my sisters to go look around and see if they saw anything more in line with what I was looking for. I seemed to have an issue explaining what I was looking for to the stylish. When my sister and aunt approached the dresses a very rude lady (not my stylish) began to yell at them. She rudely informed them they were not allowed to pull dresses, that was why I had a stylish and insisted they return to the fitting area. Again, they were only trying to find something more in the direction I was thinking due to a block in communication. It was around 7:30 p.m. we had all worked a full day and driven an hour for this appointment. Ultimately, it all ended well but I was upset with how my family was treated. read more

I called the Huntsville location Wednesday 7/18/2018 was told I would be able to return a dress from a previous wedding party unfortunately I was lied to over the phone because I have brought the dress in Sunday 7/22/18 to get in store credit and I was told they are not allowed to do that. I feel that if this is what was told to me then they should honor that. Might I add that the dress was NEVER wore it's still in the plastic I picked it up from the store in. The manager working now is no help what so ever she didn't try to figure out who told me that it could be returned or anything just was very happy to let me walk out the door as a angry customer. I am the maid of honor for my best friends wedding. We went in ( a little late too) for our appointment on a Saturday and the place was very busy. Micha was our dress consultant. She had picked out a few different things for my bride to be to try on and after the first one asked questions about what she liked and didnt like. She did the same with the second. And by the third one my best friend literally shimmied out of the dressing room in what would end up being her wedding dress. I also felt like we weren't being pushed to buy something super pricey because she encouraged her to get what felt right and this particular dress what several hundred less than the first one she tried on. She then found The perfect accessories, double veils, a gorgeous crystal and flowered headband and a necklace to accomplish the whole look. She looked so beautiful and while Micha actually got all of this accomplished within a short amount of time it was due to her skill and not because she rushed anything. She even let her try the dress with alternative flourish before putting her all back together again to ring the bell. She seemed as happy as we were to have found "the" dress and commented how she hadn't stopped smiling since she put it on. She is very good at what she does, quick, efficient, with taste and class!! The lady who was supposed to be helping us informed me that your dress size and jean size are the same thing handed me the dress and walked away. I have broad shoulders, DD's, and narrow hips. Dress sizes are never the same for me. She was very rude. I advise others not to use them. read more
