The place was overly crowded and a lot of younger teens were trying on prom dresses though. They took up quite a few of mirrors and space that should have been for the brides to be. Other women trying on dresses felt the same way. TIFFANY was so rude and lazy from the beginning, she was rushing them to pick a dress and gave her a few options because TIFFANY was in a rush to leave and always with an attitude. Last thing TIFFANY did was to talk crap to another associate about my fiancé and her mom because my fiancé was taking her time to look and decide. How unprofessional is that ? DO NOT GET ALTERATIONS HERE. I'm super lucky I'm only a bridesmaid and not the bride. I previously left this business a positive review for the help we received while picking out the bridesmaids dresses. The alteration experience was awful. I went to get the dress altered a month and a half before the event they had me pick it up a week before the wedding and hadn't touched the dress and did minor hem alterations while I was sitting in the waiting room. The cost was outrageous for what I received they kept the dress to fix the sleeves that were coming off my shoulders. I told them to please make sure not to raise the shoulders too tight as it would be cutting off circulation into my armpits. They didn't listen and now I'm going to have to have it fixed by an outside party at a rush fee. I never leave negative reviews but I was completely ripped off. read more

Completely ridiculous experience at this location. I made an appointment for my two Maids of Honor who were visiting from out of town (I had limited time with them and I wanted to maximize by trying a David's Bridal!). I had confirmed my appointment multiple times. We arrived a little early and were greeted with such lackluster energy which is disappointing because you want it to be special and were distractedly told that we wouldn't be served until our time. There was no waiting area so we just flipped through dresses for a while. By the time it was a few minutes past our appointment time, I had to go and wait at the front counter because no one came by to get us. None of the three employees at the desk acknowledged me while I waited, and luckily then a fourth appeared and just asked and took the call sheet. That turned out to be the consultant who helped us who very kind but also helping the one other person with an appointment so she had a lot of running around to do. These were the most egregious moments: 1. When our consultant brought us to the fitting rooms, she only gave us one dressing room -- which I did not want to force my two bridesmaids who don't know each other as well to try on together, so they had to take turns. I had explicitly made the appointment for two people so I was shocked they didn't reserve two stalls. It was also a week day, so not crowded at all. When I asked if we could just use another stall, the consultant said she had to ask at the front. The management told her no, because they "didn't know who else would be coming in." So, for the next hour, my bridesmaids took turns trying on dresses while the one other customer left and the other 9 stalls remained empty. Even better, two girls came in asking for a walk-in and the front counter refused them, told them they had to make an appointment, but then refused to accept a new appointment.... even though the store was empty besides us and one other client. No one else tried on anything else in the entire time we were there. 2. Not only that, but our consultant was also managing her own go-backs and running around being kind and a good sport. The other employees of the store were literally doing nothing (and as our consultant was the only person of color working there, this seemed extra apparent). I watched three older white women who worked there literally lean on a display case and compare flip flop styles, not caring at all that I was going and fetching sizing for other dresses for my group or that my bridesmaids were literally just sitting and waiting around for each other to take turns. 3. At one point I asked for help finding a style, and one of the older women couldn't find it and said, "well I'm pretty sure it was discontinued so that's why I don't have it here." Found it on the website a minute later, so .... that's just not true? So either your employee is completely unversed or a liar. Not great. 4. This location had such a small array of sizes and colors for each style available that my bridesmaids could barely try on any true options to compare. Since David's Bridal is one of the largest bridal retailers and for one that boasts such an impressive array of styles and colors, I was seriously shocked at the just sheer limitation of options available to try on in person. We left our appointment early and of the 10 employees we passed, only one said anything to us. Overall, totally ridiculous. I'd read online that this location seemed a little worse for wear in reviews but it didn't seem any worse than any other large retail store reviews. But this was next level. So disappointing, and will certainly not be pursuing this location and now not likely online, either. I recommend you take your time literally anywhere else. Oh and the best part -- the next day, I got an automated email from David's Bridal saying, "Regarding your cancelled appointment -- you missed your appointment, do you want to reschedule?" The five star review is for Lida specifically. She helped us pick out the perfect dress for my mom (mother of the bride) and she was so awesome! Very down to earth, funny, and accommodating. However, outside of the experience with her I won't shop at David's bridal again. They allow men in the dressing area (which is super awkward since you have to go outside of dressing room to see yourself in a mirror), and they have an extremely strict return policy (no returns, only exchanges). We spent nearly $500 in store and when I got home I saw an email that they were having an online sale, so I put everything in the cart that we purchased, which happened to be in stock and we could have saved $72. My friend is getting married and isn't sure of what type of dress she wants, plus she wanted to look at colors for her bridesmaids. This place is PACKED! We could barely fit through the door. My friend has to fill out a long application, where they proceed to question her about her size in front of everyone. Once we pass this phase we have to pick out three dresses that she wants to try on and wait at some podium for our turn. Once this lady comes up to help us out, my friend is now questioned about her bra size...etc, again in front of everyone. We are assigned a wedding consultant who I thought was suppose to help us out. But I guess with me being there she was off the hook. I thought my job was to cry at how pretty my friend looks in her dresses and take way too many pictures, but no, I had to help her try on the dresses. It wasn't a problem, BUT, talk about the world's most complicated process. I couldn't figure how to lace up some of the dresses and then the 200 buttons on some of the dresses caused the arthritis I didn't know I had to flare up. Once we narrowed down the selection and wanted the consultant to make a note of these dresses for future reference, she was no where to be found (but she had no problem bursting in on us any other time). I feel like this whole process was too hectic! There weren't enough consultants, and too many people just standing around for this small space. The prices seemed to be good, but the intense process we were faced with would deter me from buying a dress here. After being bombarded with a crowd of catty girls inside the store, you leave and are gridlocked in traffic. Ugh I don't think we will visit this particular location again. read more

Sadly, David's Bridal completely ruined my first experience trying on wedding dresses. I made an appointment a month out for a Saturday for my 5 bridesmaids and me to try on dresses for my wedding in October. We arrived and it was a zoo. Why they would make that many appointments at the same time baffles me. We arrived about 20 minutes before our appointment because I called ahead and asked if we could come early. The woman on the phone said sure we aren't that busy....what?? So I filled out my piece of paper with my information on it and just started walking around. Finally, someone came and gave me an extremely quick tour of the store - basically just pointing at the different areas and told me to pick out 3 dresses and take them to a particular dressing room. That in and of itself kind of stunned me. I told the girl I had no idea where to start and that I hadn't ever done this before. She said just pick what I like and someone would come over and help me. After about 30 minutes of wandering around and choosing some dresses and going back to the dressing room, my mom decided to go ask why no one had come to help us yet. Apparently they had double booked the woman supposed to be helping me and she hurried over. She told me to choose a bridesmaid and go try on the first dress. We all just kind of stood there in shock. None of us know how to get into a wedding dress or tie it up/whatever. So me and one of my bridesmaids go on in and attempt to get me into the first dress. She couldn't figure out how to secure the back so I just came out anyway. The woman helping us was gone again - helping someone else. Everyone ooh-ed and awe-ed as I held my dress to keep it from falling down. This continued with the next few dresses and finally the woman comes back and talks to me about my wedding day and all that jazz. She had picked out another dress for me to try - and was actually present for the next few dresses. Still didn't help me get into any of them but still. I started feeling faint because I was shoved in between two other brides trying on dresses with barely room to look in the mirror - at one point I had to share my mirror and I needed some water. THEY DON"T HAVE WATER BOTTLES HERE!! WHAT THE HECK!!! I was made to walk over to the bathroom water fountain in my dress to get some water. Thankfully, one of my bridesmaids went over to Starbucks and bought some water bottles for everyone. Ridiculous. Then it was time for my bridesmaids. The woman dissapeared again so the girls went and grabbed some dresses and tried them on. After about the 4th dress, the woman came back and spoke to us and then tried to get me to buy a dress. I wanted to laugh honestly. There's no way I'm giving David's Bridal my money after that awful experience. So overpriced and they obviously don't give a crap about customer experience. read more

I can't even. The original associate who helped us was sweet and tried to make right a series of wrongs by the Huntsville David's Bridal location. Unfortunately, all her hard work was undone by Rachel, a snotty, crass little worker who made it a point to make checking out a living hell. For starters, she kept saying my bridesmaid was trying to squeeze into her dress. Keep in mind the first girl sized my friend and made sure everything fit correctly. Of course, little miss Rachel felt the need to keep implying my friend was too big for that size. WHO DOES THAT. Rachel's fatphobia alone is enough to make this a solid one star experience no matter what else happened. The icing on the cake, however, is her refusing to sell us the dress without paying more money for it. After insulting my friend and causing us all kinds of grief with her scowl and rude behavior, now I have to pay this woman more money? I should have walked, but I needed the dress. Now I'm fighting the company over it because no one should ever be BULLIED by someone else at a store as a paying customer. I would NEVER recommend David's Bridal. They're rude. They're mean. They're fatphobic (ironic when they're known for carrying a wide variety of plus-sized gowns). If you want customer service, you're better off talking to a rock. They won't return your phone calls or your emails, much less give a crap when you complain. I've made it known that this place hates anyone larger than a size two and will continue to do so in the hopes that they learn you can't ridicule people for who they are. Kiss it, jerks. read more

Maybe you get better service as a bride, but I doubt it. I had been dreading my trip to David's as it was so freaking far away and I knew it wouldn't be a luxurious experience. But I don't want to spend $350 on a bridesmaids' dress, so I'm glad my friend found one here for us to try on. I figured on a Monday afternoon it wouldn't be too crowded but I was wrong. Not an available staff person in sight, I spent about 15 minutes browsing the racks of cheap chiffon and stiff satin in search of the dress I came for. I eventually found it, grabbed my estimated sizes, and wandered around aimlessly looking for a fitting room. After another 10 minutes, I finally found a saleswoman who showed me to a tiny room in a packed dressing area. She opened the door for me, and that was it. Quelle service. They don't have mirrors in the dressing rooms which means you're forced to parade about so the saleswomen can try to sell you on something that isn't all that flattering. Luckily they were all too busy helping other women on my trip that I was spared a sales pitch. I did have a question about when a new line came out and the woman at the register was *totally* clueless. Sorry, honey, eggplant and olive satins are NOT from a spring line, I can guarantee it. Ugh. Third stop for dress shopping with the girls and we came here, due to the reasons listed below and the fact that it's right down the street from where I live. When you think of bridal dress boutiques, what's the first place that comes to mind? Yup, David's Bridal.. thanks to their commercials with images of more-than-happy brides, the jingle that gets stuck in your head for days, and advertisements of their low, low prices. Maybe that's why everyone and their grandmothers were here last Saturday. I guess it doesn't help that prom season is near. It was a cluster**** to say the least. The store was completely packed, dresses everywhere, and it was incredibly disorganized. I got a headache just standing there, soaking in my surroundings. I mustered enough strength to peruse through the dresses though, for the sake of finding "the perfect dress." If the store is as crowded as it was for me, IMMEDIATELY get yourself put on the waiting list for a dressing room as soon as you arrive. There's going to be a longggg wait. I only found one dress I liked enough to try on. As aforementioned, the wait was long enough as it was, but it was actually extended because the assigned consultant left for lunch and we had to wait until she came back. Finally walking back to the dressing area, I didn't think it could've been worse. I shake my head now just thinking back on it. There were mirrors EVERYWHERE, except for the most important place -- the dressing room itself! The entire area was completely mirrored from floor to ceiling, not to mention all the doors to the dressing rooms were the same way. It's really trippy! There's an elevated "stage" area where you can go up and basically parade around for your friends/family/significant other and that was interesting to watch in itself. The dressing room itself is TINY and as mentioned, does not have a mirror inside. Other people were standing outside of dressing room door, waiting for their girls to come out to critique the dress, which made it even more claustrophobic-like. There was an area of chairs where others were sitting though. Please, please just chill there and have the girls come to you! The consultant was pushy and definitely wanted to make a sale. She was also.. overly eccentric and animated and made us feel a little uncomfortable. I'm not surprised it didn't work out. read more

I purchased a bridesmaids dress from this location. The initial visit was problematic as there was way to many people in the store so much so we were two to a fitting room. The manager was vocal about overbooking appointments and asked us to literally not stand with our group. To top it off the girl who pulled dresses for us not only pulled dresses that were not available by the wedding date, she was unhelpful in pretty much every aspect. After finally buying a dress it is not a month later and it has been more than challenging getting anyone to be helpful on the phone pertaining to alterations. The Kennesaw David's Bridal was super busy, the sales associate helping me did not allow me and my Mother to search for the dresses ourselves because she insisted that she pick them out. My Mother had to help me get into the dresses because the sales associate helping me was too busy with other brides (even though I made this appointment more than a month in advance). I hardly had room to look in a mirror because so many other people were standing in the way. My sales associate never fully understood that I was looking for something simple and continued to push me to purchase bling and other accessories. I did not have a good experience. I visited the BuckheadDavid's Bridal and had a 100% better experience. Don't visit this location, simply head to Buckhead and avoid this particular David's Bridal. read more

My review is an average of my experience with buying a wedding dress and accessories here, and with the alterations department: 5 stars for choosing a dress 1 star for the alterations process Picking out my wedding dress here was great! They have tons to choose from, and the consultant I worked with helped me pick the perfect gown within an hour and with only a few dresses (I'm a very decisive bride). It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of silhouette, color, etc. And, most importantly, price. My dress came in about two weeks later, and all was well. Also, they did a great job with the accessories and it was nice having a "one stop shop" instead of driving all over creation looking for different things. When I came to get my dress altered, I thought coming back to David's would be the best choice because they work with wedding dresses all the time. Although that's true, I figured out they are more about quantity over quality there. Thankfully, I didn't have to get any major alterations done: take up the sleeves (I'm more on the petite side), take up the hemline, and bustle it for the reception. When I came to pick it up, my dress was ready, but not perfect and what I imagined it would fit like. The bustle and hemline were great, but they had taken the bodice up too much and it was way too tight. The proportions of the dress were off, and I had trouble breathing while they argued and told us it wasn't too tight. The cups of the top were too high on my chest, and the waist was hitting an inch or so above my natural waist. And, the zipper was pulling too much, and the cover wasn't laying flat. And, when we tried to point this out to them, they argued and said, "It's a wedding dress. It's supposed to be tight." Um, sure, probably so. But not so tight I can't breathe. We felt like we were pulling teeth to get them to admit they had messed up, and we ended up leaving unhappy. You'd think after we paid for alterations they would be more willing to admit their mistakes, and value customer service more to fix the issues free of charge. Alas, they didn't. So I took my dress to a really good alterations shop in Buckhead where I've had other garments altered without issues. They took one look at me in my dress, knew what was wrong, and are currently fixing it. Bottom line: great place to buy a wedding dress and accessories, but alterations didn't listen to my concerns and now I'm literally paying for it. And, make sure you do everything in advance so you have time to get everything done. read more

Man o man, I love David's Bridal, and more specifically, Lila at the Kennesaw / Town Center location. Went this past weekend so my mom and grandma can see the dress I had previously put on layaway. I didn't tell them that I had a dress on layaway so Lila had me try on a few dresses before letting them see my favorite. Well, her planned work b/c after about 4 dresses in, I put on my "fav" dress and my mother loved it. SUCCESS. She then let me try on, what felt like, every sash in the store to make sure that I found the one I loved. She has the patience of a saint. I am sooo incredibly happy with my dress and will be picking it up next month. Though all of the employees I encountered were lovely, Lila really is the icing on the cake. I bought my dress here last night. It's absolutely stunning. ..of course. ;) Anyhow, I had Whitney helping my mom and I last night and she was great! I think she knew that I would go back to the initial dress I mentioned and I did. She was extremely sweet and very kind. I'm not a typical bride, ( crazy-over the top-demanding-try on every dress), but if you were, I think she'd be your girl. I rang the bell. .. something I had no idea I was suppose to do..lol fun! It was the end of the night, the process was fast, they answered my questions, I opened a David's bridal account, and I left with the $99 preservation box kit thing. .. the one that keeps your dress for 30 years. Again, never heard of that, but cool. For a wedding dress, veil, preservation kit, plus tax I was out the door for $1400. Not bad. .. not bad . Pretty average. The good thing about David's is they offer a variety of sizes and virtually anyone can find something to try on here regardless of their dress size. Being a thicker gal I have run into problems at other bridal stores because their sample sizes stop at like 8 which just doesn't work for me. I have shopped at David's several times over the years. I purchased 3 prom dresses here in high school and I don't even know how many bridesmaid dresses - too many to count! I have never shopped for a wedding gown here but I have been with several friends who have gone here to try on dresses. This isn't like Klienfeld's or anything so don't come up in here looking for the worlds best service. You are going to have to do a lot of the work yourself. Plan to pull your own dresses and come prepared with an idea in mind. Also, make an appointment if you don't want service because 90% of the time it is like pure chaos in this store. Anyway, shipping times are pretty accurate on ordered dresses and they have always come in before the anticipated arrival date. The dress quality is ok I suppose. I have never worn any of their dresses except for the occasion for which I purchased it but none of the dresses unraveled or anything. My one experience with their alterations department was a nightmare and I'd never use their service again. They all but ruined one of my dresses. It was a chiffon overlay dress and they hemmed the chiffon shorter than the satin layer underneath. It looked ridiculous and had to be redone. Because of their screw up the dress ended up being a little bit too short but I'm a short person and it wasn't that noticeable. The way they handled the whole problem was ridiculous and even tried to blame it on me for wearing the wrong bra...mmmm hello I was wearing the same bra when I was fitted and when I came in to try it on post alterations. They didn't offer a discount or refund on the alteration services either. With so many alteration options in Atlanta I don't know why anyone would use them for this - I know I won't. . read more

Plan to just spend the whole day here and if you are planning a wedding you really can't afford to give the time this place sucks out of your day. Navigating this store and their selection takes a lot of effort and patience (but it might pay off). Also, they try to up-sale you on everything. Shoes, slips, hair accessories, purses, etc; which is very annoying. They continue this attempt to sale via email so beware. The Ugly: My alterations cost nearly $300 bucks! Actually zero stars. The worst experience doing business with a "large" operation with a horrid return policy. This place has kept the dress and about $1000 of ours and will not allow a refund whatsoever, despite the cancellation of the event due to COVID and a dress that has NOT been altered and will no doubt go back on the floor. Lashanda, the store manager, hung up on me when I tried to discuss this. She had said previously that she could do a return or store credit if the dress hadn't been altered. Well guess what. She researched it and the dress had NOT been altered but "corporate" had decided no refund anyway. Do not use this company. They totally take advantage of brides with stars in their eyes and create total stress for an otherwise great event. One more thing. If you look beyond the good reviews you may notice the reviewers have either no history or very limited history of reviewing. The bad reviews are filled with precise info. First off, I never went here to find a wedding dress, so I have nothing to tell you on that front. But for my wedding I have four bridesmaids in three states, and the easiest place for all of my bridesmaids to go to is David's Bridal. I asked each girl to pick out whatever dress they liked, that was cocktail length, in the color provided by me. I think they all appreciated that they could pick out something that flattered them, and that they might be able to wear again. So one went off to her store in Brooklyn, the other to her store in Memphis, and my sisters went to this location in um, metro Atlanta, this week. I will say the place is a nightmare on weekends, the sisters went on a week night, picked out the styles they liked, and put their dresses on order with little hassle. I will say this- make sure your bridesmaids order their dresses four months early! One bridesmaid's dress is due in March, and the sister's dresses are due in mid April (wedding is May 1st) so that is cutting it close for them. I told them that they can buy whatever shoes they would like, but David's has a pretty decent selection of styles that can be dyed to match the dresses if you are more about a uniform look. So far it's been a good experience for them, I will update if anything terrible/amazing happens in the meantime! read more

I have bought both my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from here and both times had an excellent experience! Lila helped me find my wedding dress. She was so kind, attentive, and picked out great dresses. She kept me well within my budget and made me feel comfortable sticking with the styles I liked. She provided options with each dress, like sashes and add on sleeves. I am so glad she helped me and would recommend booking an appointment with her! Savannah helped us pick out the bridesmaid dresses and she was so helpful! She was really knowledgeable on fabrics and color options and answered our crazy amount of questions! I realize Covid19 has caused many issues relating to weddings etc.. but what I DID NOT think would happen is to have my dress returned to me without ANY NOTIFICATIONS, email, text etc.. I returned home after being gone for 2 months during the quarantine period, to find my wedding dress in a box sitting on my FRONT PORCH!! Seriously?? No contact with me that they were sending it to me?? Not only was it sitting on my porch in a box all crumpled, but the Alterations WERE NOT DONE! Again I paid a hefty fee for alterations, and they were not done. I emailed the DavidBridalCares, got a reply right away that the "Store Manager" would be in contact with me, that hasn't happened. I'm VERY Disappointed with the Kennesaw location. Another thing to remember, when you book your appointment to try on dresses, they only give you 1 1/2 hours, so keep that in mind when shopping. I was still trying on dresses, trying different accessories with different dresses when the attendant said, "Your appointment time is up." Really?? Oh well, I guess that made me pick quickly or decide to walk.. just remember that when making an appointment to try on dresses. Yes I did receive a notification from David Bridal as soon as this was posted.. but still NO ONE will answer the phone at the Kennesaw location and I've already put into my credit card company to get my refund on the alterations that Were Not Done. I have two daughter who often need formal dresses for a variety of occasions. Once again David's bridal came to our rescue just like a knight in shining armor We started at the David's bridal at Stonecrest Mall, Lithonia, GA they didn't have much of a selection but once we described what we were looking for the associate said she would call another location to see if they had it in stock. The Kennasaw location verified the dress had just come in never been tried on and we drove an hour to pick the dress up. The staff at both locations were simply wonderful. The smile on my daughter's face was priceless. My only recommendation is that David's bridal stock all stores with the same merchandise each time I need a dress I have to drive from Conyers to Kennesaw which is a one hour drive each way. read more

I think that a place like David's Bridal can be a hit or miss. Fortunately for me, both times that i went, I had wonderful service from Lila. Although I did not end up getting my dress from here...really none of the dresses here impressed me much...Lila was wonderful. A word to the wise...maybe if you don't expect too much going in then you won't be disappointed. Yes...I know that wedding gown shopping is a big deal...but you have to think of this place as a Wal-Mart. For more personalized service, you should try a small bridal boutique. Despite what other reviews say, at least make an appointment and check them out. After going to 7 other places, I finally gave in and came here and ended up finding my perfect dress! My consultant was absolutely wonderful and made me laugh and actually enjoy the experience. She also picked out the perfect veil that sealed the whole deal and gave me the overall look I had been searching for. I wasn't impressed at all with one of the seamstresses and in fact I used another place for alterations, so I can't really speak about the alterations there. But I was impressed with the managers and the ladies that worked there. The store isn't elegant, but they have a great selection and good prices. Hands down the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I've gone in circles with this company's "customer service" chat line that every single extension on the customer service phone number sends you to and therefore can never speak to an actual person. I've been informed my dress has gone from 12 weeks time needed to cut make and send, to 14, 18, now 20 weeks. I am floored. How in the world can you have such a drastic change on a dress for a WEDDING?! And you're supposed to be in the wedding business? I have never been so disgusted by a company in my entire life. My dress purchase was great. I found the dress I wanted and it was in my price range. I love it! I took it in for alterations earlier this month and scheduled a pick up for final fitting after alterations for 5/31 at 7:30p. I arrived right on time and was escorted back to the alterations area. The lady that was there went and found my dress and put me in the fitting room. I tried it on and it was too tight in the rib area. When I told the lady helping me she said that she was just a CSR and she couldn't do the pinning. She said there was no one there who could do the pinning tonight. From what I could hear from the other fitting room, the girl ran into the same problem. Now I have to go back NEXT WEEK for another alterations appointment and then wait on it to be completed again. Things could have been made easier if there had been someone in alterations to do the pinning. I don't understand why you schedule people for appointments that don't have anyone there that can help. I'm very frustrated about this and would like to speak with a manager about it. Now I have to worry that my dress won't be back in time for my wedding *UPDATE* I was hoping to update and say that everything was wonderful but I can't. I was able to call them the following day and Wanda told me to come in that evening. I went in and felt like I was inconveniencing the seamstress who helped me (Bibi). She had a chip on her shoulder that day. We pinned the dress and I made an appointment to come in the next Friday to get it. Today I went in to get it. Bibi was the one who was there today. The dress was too loose in the top. Instead of saying "I can fix that really quick and you'll be on your way!", she was extremely defensive about her work. I was not upset about the alterations because I suspected it was just a simple fix. She went on to berate me saying that it was my fault. I think she just didn't understand what I was saying at the pinning session. She said "I'm going to have to charge you because I've already worked on it 2 x's and this was your fault ". It's hard enough not having a mom to go with me to these appointments like everyone else does, but then to have her all but yell at me brought me to tears. My dress now fits like it should, so that's great. If I could do it over, I would go somewhere else. Somewhere that I won't be yelled at as a paying customer. read more

I went in for my first wedding dress try on ever and Candace was by far the most helpful, personal, and comfortable person to work with! All my friends even said they were so happy we got to work with her! After only trying on a handful of dresses I found THE ONE!! I hate crowds and LOATHE shopping with other people, so I made an appointment for a Thursday afternoon, by myself (I've heard weekends are a madhouse, much like the rest of the retail world). My associate was named Mickey and she was amazing. I have no idea how she magically read my mind and knew what would look good on me, but I'm going back tomorrow to put money down on a dress for layaway. And bonus: The dresses didn't need altering as they fit like a glove! I consider myself a budget bride and I have no desire to check out boutiques or anything "exclusive" as for me that reads "expensive." Granted, the dress I want costs $600, but for layaway you only need 25% down and you can pay it off in 2 months. PLUS, right now they have a sale going on, and a 0% credit application. The tiaras and veils aren't cheap so I plan to buy mine online, but otherwise, the prices are reasonable. I can't vouch for all David's Bridals, but the one in Kennesaw, GA is great! read more

Awful experience. I went to pick up my daughters veil today, the day the last payment was due. I was told that the layaway was cancelled today and that a check would be mailed to me. Allison, the supervisor, told me that the payment was due on the 26th, not the 28th. I argued this and she just smiled and stated she could not change anything. It was as if she enjoyed telling me this. I do not recommend using David's Bridal. They just lost a lot of money from me. I will no longer be purchasing bridesmaid dresses, my dress or have any alterations on the wedding dress there. It is not surprising that they are in the middle of bankruptcy, with such poor customer service, it's just a matter of time before it catches up with you. read more

Had a great time here looking for two bridesmaids dresses with my bridesmaids. Hannah A. was helping us out and she did a really good job. She was very willing to run back and forth to grab us the dresses and sizes that we needed. While we found some great bridesmaids dresses, the prices were a little higher than we were looking to spend. But my girls were also high school and college-age so our budget was pretty low.
