All dates given with at least 2-3 weeks before the dress needs to be picked up. She forgot to do it then rushed it and damaged the dress making multiple snags on essentially a brand new dress that was just hung in a garment bag since she had it last and she had the audacity to say "that's just the nature of lace" Showing the dress to the shop where it was purchased they said its destroyed and not repairable. We will not be bringing any more work here or sending anyone else there to get work done.

I brought my sewing machine in for cleaning. I was told the machine would be taken apart,…read moredegreased, cleaned and oiled. When I got it home it was obvious it had not been cleaned. The motor cover was coated with blook soot (it wiped off easily). I wiped soot off the motor and it was also under the motor. The machine looked the same as when I brought it in. I took pictures for proof. I called and complained and was told to bring it back. Why would I want to go back when such a poor job was done the first time? I do not recommend this shop for machine care!

Well, I have to say I was very disappointed when I went in today. This is NOT a full-service…read morealteration shop. I don't mind that they're only open Monday through Thursday. I can make that fit in my schedule, but as soon as I walked in the door with three brand new suits that I ordered from New York, California and New Orleans....I was told she no longer alters the length of sleeves on jackets or sport coats. I was told she no longer alters the sides of sports coats, like tapering in the waist, etc.. and I was told that the only thing she could really help me with would be the hem length of the pants. Well, the largest disappointment was that she suggested that I go to a hooterite or someone else who has time for those kinds of things. So people, unless you just simply need pants hemmed, don't walk through the door. I don't know it just didn't make any sense that an alteration shop would send the guy outside the door and pass up on probably $200 of work????? I know it's not the only alteration shop in town but I wasted my time walking to the door. I'll find another place and I'll get the suits ready to go for my summer trips, but I absolutely don't recommend using this place. When I visit my mom in Houston Texas, there are hundreds of alteration shops. I guess next time I should have my suit shipped to my mom's place and then just get them altered there in short order.

I had a special/odd request to add the sleeves of my mother's dress to my dress but to make them removable, and they turned out perfect! I was very lucky to have the lace and material match to start with, but she did a great job. There were a couple things that I was worried about after the first round of alterations and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I was happy with the final product. I was happy that I voiced my concerns because she was very receptive and happy to make my dress exactly how I imagined! Be that as it may, my dress is not a Calvin Klein, nor did they warn me it could be ruined. They just took it. I wrote a letter to the manager, Vince Widener, on November 27, 2018 and have never received an explanation or an apology. Is this any way to run a business? Not only did they ruin my dress, they charged me $25 to ruin it. What kind of reputable business does this? Customer service ZERO. I highly recommend you take your dry cleaning to another business. I will not be returning. I had to rate it with one star to be able to post my back experience.
