Brought in a very pricey pair of hiking/fishing/hunting pants that were too small for my husband. The proprietor did a fantastic job of adding 2" to the waistband and more room at the sides as well. They now fit perfectly. We weren't in a rush for them, so the two-plus weeks time for pickup didn't bother us and we will definitely return if we need anything altered in the future. read more

Brought an expensive 1 of 1 dress in that she has worked on before and nice work tailored with no issues. Dress is never worn and now needed another alteration to fit for an event coming up. All dates given with at least 2-3 weeks before the dress needs to be picked up. She forgot to do it then rushed it and damaged the dress making multiple snags on essentially a brand new dress that was just hung in a garment bag since she had it last and she had the audacity to say "that's just the nature of lace" Showing the dress to the shop where it was purchased they said its destroyed and not repairable. We will not be bringing any more work here or sending anyone else there to get work done. read more

My husband bought a neoprene vest for our hunting dog that didn't end up fitting well. We called ahead to make sure that Jenny was able to work with dog vests, in which she responded yes. When I brought the vest in, she said the dog couldn't come in. So we took the dog out, but because she didn't want to go outside, she changed her mind and allowed our dog in.. We described the issue with the vest and what needed to be done (cut chest area so it doesn't chafe the dogs armpits, and "dart" areas to tighten neck). She accepted the job and said it would be an easy fix, $45. I came back after the weekend and noticed that she didn't even get the vest close to what I asked. When cutting the vest, she mistakened the bottom for the top and cut too much off the shoulder and not enough of the chest region. She even stated that she had it upside down when fixing! So I re-explained the issue and again she said it would be an easy fix. She didn't even come to measure the dog... I had the dog sitting outside the door... She goes to the back and makes a few cuts, and tells me to try it on the dog... she didn't even come out to look at the fit. It was still not what I had asked. She gives me a chalk to measure my dog... she goes to the back and again makes some choppy cuts. I told her I'd have to show my husband but that I would pay her for now. As you can see in the photos, she did a HORRIBLE job. My husband doesn't think it's worth bringing it back because she didn't care enough to check out the outcome of her work. If she doesn't like dogs, then tell us that so we can take our business elsewhere! I'm so disappointed in her work and will NEVER come back nor recommend anyone go there! read more

I dropped off a sleeping bag and winter coat, both needing new zippers. It took about 5 months to get my coat back and another 2 months to get the sleeping bag. The sewing on the coat was coming undone within a week or two after I picked it up. I had to be proactive call them to remind them to get this done. I must have caught them on a bad year or something. I can't recommend this tailor. read more

Absolutely do not go here! Horrible service and mediocre alterations with high prices. I took my wedding dress and three bridesmaids dresses to her and she blew off 7 out of 7 return appointments. All of my bridesmaids were from out of town. She tried to tell us that a final fitting was not necessary for any of the dresses, which three of them had to have additional alterations to fit correctly. After missing the 7 return appointments she asked for final payment before anything was completed. read more

I can't remember the tailors name, but she was great. I had an emergency and had to get my bridesmaid dress hemmed. She did it with a two day notice. I was so grateful. Price was a little more than I wanted to pay. But then again, I didn't give her a lot of time to work with. read more

I dropped off a suit jacket to have sized and altered and was told someone would call me to come in and get fitted. While waiting for this call and not hearing from them for a month, I returned to the store to retrieve my jacket, only to be told she hadn't started it yet but could get it done in time for the wedding. Here it is 7 days until the wedding, and I just made another phone call to find out what the deal is, only to find out she forgot again and says she can get it done 4 days before the wedding. Through all of this, I have not once been contacted, I've always initiated the calls. I don't know if she is over-busy or just very forgetful but unless you want to have to babysit someone, I truly would not recommend this business! read more

I went in to have some measurements done for a custom suit. While the woman working was friendly, 10 minutes and 15 dollars later I had a list of measurements that I doubted the quality of. Sure enough, I had to have several of them redone. I was glad the suit-makers caught the inconsistencies, or else this would have been a much more costly mistake. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more
