We quickly checked it out and found our favorites! This trip, we bought some dips, chips, quick frozen meals, coconut water, smoked Gouda cheese and crackers, ice coffee concentrate, heavy whipping cream, and apples. They have their own parking lot. It seemed extremely busy and crowded. The employees were very friendly and helpful as always. They had samples out that day. I always loved sampling the newest thing. They had packages of the cooked bacon bits. They offered on top of a salad. It was very tasty!

It was a clean store and pretty packed with stuff. I figured out where the deli was and that got me what I needed. I found a few sandwiches already made which worked as this was a stop on the way to the airport. I had to cross the courtyard again (in the rain) and go find the checkout. I used self serve, so I can't really comment on much regarding that (it worked as they all do). For a Von's, it's fine. Prices tend to be a little higher than I like, but I still bought food, so that's on me. LOL. If you need a grocery store in the Liberty Station area, this place works just fine!

The prices there are very high, so we have decided membership is not worth it for us as we can't afford to spend much when shopping there and the deals you get as a member don't often apply to many of the items we purchase, so why spend the $15? However, every time I have shopped there and tell them I do not have an owner number, the cashiers seem to switch to a judgmental tone when checking me out as if I shouldn't be shopping there. This has happened with almost every cashier I have checked out with. If you only want members to shop there, simply make the place membership only instead of guilting locals into spending $15 to not feel like an outsider at their neighborhood grocery store.
