With Bee Be Gone's outstanding reviews we decided to contact David. Through no fault of his there was a little glitch getting in contact with him (Outlook problem), but once we did he came that day. Using a mirror he confirmed we indeed had a paper wasp nest. He donned his protective gear, cleared the library books out, and sprayed the nest and removed it. He explained every step of what he was doing. He next fumigated the library with a spray that will help prevent the wasps from rebuilding there. He then showed us where the wasps were getting in--a small gap in the door. He suggested putting a piece of screen across the gap, which we have done. His bill was very reasonable. Especially since no one got stung, and I understand paper wasp stings are very painful. If we have any more bee problems will definitely contact David again.

He asked us to save any that we could find. He came out and didn't even need to go into the attic; he ID'd them as mud daubers (which are harmless and eat spiders) and saw that they were coming in through broken wood in our exterior attic dormers. He suggested the repair and it was a super fair price to come out and check our problem. I'm really relieved we know what the situation is now. We had called another exterminating group over the weekend, and they came and said they saw NO nests (despite us finding an empty one) and someone else pointing out a live nest. Ok - then he parks and sits in his truck for a few minutes while I wait in my garage to greet him. He gets out and finishes his phone call, then when he is ready for me, we begin the estimate. He is telling me he would seal areas outside, then place boxes to trap mice. We do the same inside until I ask him, "Is the sealing included with your service?" He said no. I said I would need to hire a contractor, but am I supposed to be taking notes? He said yes. I told him I wish he had told me earlier - and he said it would cost $495. I asked for more details and he asked if I was ready to proceed. I told him I need a written estimate to discuss with my wife. I also told him I don't remember where he said I need to seal, so he said he would write it on the estimate. He takes out a 5x5 piece of paper and writes, "seal inside and outside." He rips the top page off and hands it to me. I crumbled it up and threw it away and thanked him for coming. I would not let this company touch my house.
