He explained that the type of chemical used would kill the adults but not the larvae. He is coming back in 2-3 weeks to continue treatment. If the residual pest control chemical doesn't kill the newly hatched "yellow jackets" the second chemical treatment will be applied. Justin came out at the end of March, and the service I paid for specifically included attic treatment, sealing the attic edge line, sealing exterior weep holes, sealing an entry point along the garage roofline, and attic baiting/trapping. The entire point of paying this much was not simply to put out traps--it was to identify and seal the entry points so the mouse problem would actually be addressed. Yet only a few months later, I'm once again hearing mice running back and forth up in the attic. For $1,850, I think it's completely reasonable to expect the exclusion work to last longer than a few months. Instead, my experience has been that the emphasis seems to be on returning for repeated treatments every few months rather than actually eliminating the source of the problem. I understand that no pest-control company can guarantee a mouse will never enter a home again, but when you charge $1,850 specifically for rodent control and exclusion/sealing work, customers should reasonably expect the entry points to be properly identified and secured. I paid for a solution to the problem, not an endless cycle of recurring treatments.

F(orget) all of them! Dodson Pest Control in Leesburg was 100% different. My apologies for not remembering the name of the man with whom I spoke. But he asked about my issue and gave me his cell number so I could send some pictures of what I was seeing. He called back immediately and asked for a couple more pics from a different angle. He gave me his assessment that it was unlikely to be critters or wasps etc as I suspected. I told him I could easily go up in the attic for a look at the inside and he simply told me what to look for. Turned out not to be what either of us thought. I called him back, telling him i was ready to sign for service or regular visits or whatever; I was so grateful for help, just over the phone. But he said he wasn't going to take my money; the thing I discovered was a dead nest and I could easily remove it myself if I as willing and able. I still haven't paid him a cent. He only spent 30 or so minutes of his time, including some text messages this morning. But that was invaluable to me! I'm hoping to find pests now so I can sign on with him. Please give this company a call if you need services like theirs. They deserve our business more than any other company's services I have employed in my 20+ years of being a homeowner.

Chris came out the same day I called and did a thorough look throughout my house and told me that there was no evidence of bed bugs. He recommended that I see my Dermatologist which I did. The doctor told me that it was not bed bug bites but it was eczema. I would strongly recommend calling Chris if you have any issues with pests.
