I came in thinking I had a nail in my tire which was causing it to go flat. They could have told me there was a nail and charged me for that but instead they were honest told me there was no nail, they sealed the tire just in case and changed my valve. I was looking for an honest place (in this business good luck with that), I ended up going here on a gut call after looking at yelp for a few minutes. I went for an oil change, which i didn't really need and they pointed this out. They had me right there as a customer. Told them my tires were slipping a little, they rotated and told my tires were good. I don't hide my ignorance when it comes to cars, and they did not try one bit to capitalize on that or me. So I just decided to change my own oil for my 2013 Tundra after having it changed at this place last and found that they used the wrong filter element, it was 1.5" too short so the oil just went around. Anyone who has a vehicle that requires elements instead of traditional spin-on filters knows that the fit of the element is extremely important to force the oil through it. Basically I've been driving around for 5,000 miles (paid for full synthetic, who knows what I got) with no filter. I'm extremely pissed off but I guess it's my fault for assuming that people are honest and competent.... the tires I got at the same time were a decent deal but I would stay away from any type of engine service at the Davie Tire Outlet!! read more

I just had a front wheel bearing replaced on my 09 Land Rover. They did a great job and were the least expensive anywhere. They are in a very convenient location in Davie just about a mile west of the Turnpike on Orange Drive. They have repaired flats for me in the past using a patch not a plug and have balanced tires as well. Great owner and good crew working for him. DO NOT EVER GO TO DAVIE TIRE OUTLET!!!!!! They get ZERO STARS from me - but that's not a choice. Brought 2 tires to them to be installed. I was given a reasonable written estimate ($34). But when I went to pay, suddenly the price increased by $20!! That's nearly 60%! They charged me $10 per tire for bringing my own! I always buy my tires online, then have them installed. I have NEVER had a fee for doing their work - saving them time from finding and ordering the tires. I did that part! When I questioned Owen about the charge, he was rude and said he didn't know I brought my own or he would have told me about the charge. WHAT??!! Then how did he give me an estimate?? What exactly did he think they were balancing and disposing of? I even told him where the tires were in the car because they weren't together. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more
