At this year's service I was told the the membership would cost me $399 + 250 for 5G monitoring. The technician did the best she could to explain the reasoning but really could not explain why my wifi monitoring needed to be upgraded. Edgar knew right away what the problem was and I elected to take the hardest repair route - replacing the leaking duct that was installed by others. He did a fabulous job, extremely knowledgeable, and nice to work with. Kudos to Davis and Green hiring good people. He needs some new boots, give him time to stop at the shoe store. read more

We love these guys! D&G's technician Hunter Bise has done a couple of jobs for us in the last month and both times he & his helper were punctual, knowledgeable, polite & very professional. One job was difficult (installing underground wiring & a new breaker box) and one was simple (installing 2 ceiling fans) but he did both jobs perfectly & quickly. Davis And Green has been horrible to work with. Their plumbers have been very rude and one of them pushed us to give a five star review before the work even started (His name was Earl). We have called them multiple times to fix their shoddy plumbing. We just want them to fix everything they've done poorly so we can be rid of them. They also installed the metal crimps too far at the ends of the pex pipes which is not within regulation. We will NEVER use Davis and Green for anything again. We also had a different contractor help their truck out of the mud in our yard and they were rude to our contractor. They have been rude, unprofessional, and incompetent every single step of the process. Unfortunately we have dealt with many terrible companies during on renovation but Davis and Green has been among the worst. I can't speak to how their other departments are run but steer VERY clear of their plumbing. We dealt with multiple of their plumbers and they were all bad. I suspect the "4.9" stars for this company are from pressuring customers. Here is a picture of our sink two-ish months after they installed it. We paid a grand for this high quality sink installation. It's leaking from 4 or 5 different places and we have not heard back in over 3 weeks. read more

He answered my questions, then went to work checking our system. He was very thorough. Everything checked out great! He even dug a small trench for our HVAC drain. Quoted a price which turned out to be low. Manager calls technicians on lunch and tells them to requote and make it double the original estimate. They may have saved themselves a few hours by not completing the job but they also just lost a customer. Good call. read more

I had a new HVAC system installed that was dual fuel. On a routine checkup I was told my thermostat was causing an issue - so a new thermostat was installed (turns out that wasn't the issue either). The new thermostat is incapable of switching between gas and electric fueling and it is not programmable. I didn't select this thermostat - it was installed by the technician. When asked to replace the thermostat I was quoted $1,000 to replace it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The technicians are nice and their response time to my issues was great, but the level of quality by technicians varies greatly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And to quote $1000 for a $200 thermostat when the incorrect one was installed in the first place was inexcusable. Davis & Green has been servicing my generator with the annual maintenance the last 10 years. They are always very polite and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My power has been out going on 20 hours now. The generator decided to stop working in the middle of the night. I did a service request online early morning and followed up with a phone call after they opened[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Conner was here before 11, serviced the generator, and got me back up and working. I was so pleased when I heard it fire up and start running on this 90 plus day. First time I used Davi's & Green, and I will be using them again!! The technician was super knowledgeable, explain the issue, walked me through the repair, and handled all the paperwork. These folks provide a warranty for all of their work. More importantly, they provide prompt service. The work was done right the first time! Amazing service, Nick and Clark were very courteous and helped me to understand how to manage the issue going forward as well.

Requested Davis and Green to install new gas range. Technicians arrived and removed the old gas connection. Convert the range to propane by removing the natural gas "spuds" and installing propane spuds (5 for the cook top, 1each for the broiler and oven). Cost. between $600-$700 dollars. Arrived shortly after 3 PM and left around 5:30ish. read more

I had an error code on my generator. There is one fix for it, flip the switch on the back. I called and explained the error code. Instead of telling me on the phone, they had a technician come to me house to tell me for $89. I doubt that $89 means more to them than it meant to me. read more
