This was a stupid mistake! I haven't had an accident that was my fault for all of my life. My neighbor parked across from my driveway. Perfectly legal but not a normal spot. I even thought to remember his truck was there & have a backup camera but was distracted by my granddaughter asking me a question & well, it was good I wasn't going fast but the damage to my bumper & his door was over $4000k!! Bummer!!! My neighbor (friend) was so sweet about it he apologized for parking there! lol. & didn't want to even claim it but we insisted & both used Davis Auto Body. & like the other reviews, Jason was amazing! & things went seamlessly. Took my vehicle for an estimate from an accident. They took photos, left me a voicemail they needed additional photos. I make an appointment, show up and the gal at the front cannot find anything regarding my previous visit and asks if I went to the shop in Atascadero. Really, like I don't know the difference between Paso and Atascadero. Then she wants to know what additional photos are needed. How do I know? The voicemail says additional photos and to schedule an appointment. They take the additional photos and tell me they will get back to me the following day before end of business. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing from them. I call to find out the status of the claim only to have that gal in the front yell at me that I need to contact my insurance. I explain what I was told, however that didn't matter. So I contacted the insurance company of the at fault party, they refer me to another body shop, who contacted me right away to schedule for an estimate. I ask for clarification because I thought that is what Davis Body did. Come to find out, they didn't follow through with the insurance, just wasted my time. Would not recommend. read more

When the car rental agency messed up my reservation and sent it to an office 15 miles away, Eric, the manager, drove me there without being asked. When I picked up my car it looked better than it has in years...they did a great job on the repairs and then detailed the car inside and out!! Very organized and professional. I annoyed Edger with all my insurance problems and constantly calling with questions since it was my first time dealing with an insurance claim - he was amazing. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS! Have been here on multiple occasions (two different vehicles) and Jason Moore is extremely dishonest! Repairs on both vehicles were done extremely sub-par (paint is the only thing done properly), and Jason refused to do the repairs to an acceptable standard since he had already been paid. Jason Moore is going to make Davis go out of business, and I hope the owner notices how far down hill his shop has gone since Jason took over day-to-day operations. read more

After having some lady slam into the side of my van I was devastated that I had to drive around with dents and scratches. I've heard nothing but great things about Davis so I gave them a try. They are literally the NICEST people and they help me a lot. Even with a ride to work and they even dropped my van off to me. When I got my van back I noticed the work right away, it was gorgeous. Well no one wants to have to be using a body shop but if you need one Davis is great. Jason was a pleasure to work with and so was Ann in the office. Plus my car was done earlier than predicted and they did an amazing job looks like new and was finished sooner than expected, but their service is amazing. Had a damaged fog light on the driver's side from an impact with a small animal, regrettable, and a dent to the passenger side between the front wheel and the door where another driver backed into my car. After a prior visit for an inspection and estimate I took my car in last Tuesday. It was ready on Friday as promised and both repairs were outstanding. You would never know there had been damage. Throughout the process the staff treated me with the utmost courtesy and consideration. Although I was presented with a bill for $500, my deductible, when I went to pick up the car, I explained that it should be covered as the accident was not my fault. The owner (or manager) got on the phone immediately and contacted my insurance company, which had previously failed to update Davis Auto Body North. The misunderstanding was immediately resolved. The fog light, which had a separate case number, appeared to have been overlooked during repairs based on the paperwork so there was no charge on my final bill and it appeared that I might have to return at a later time. But when the owner/manager took me to my car it was obvious that the fog light had been fixed, and I was graciously told that this repair was on them due to the mix-up. Of course, I hope I never again require the services of an auto body shop, but if I do I will certainly go to Davis Auto Body North. Absolutely outstanding staff and service!! . read more
