The staff knew the inventory and were all nice. It is always worth exploring for items you need and items you didn't know you needed! It is a welcome alternative to sterile chain groceries who control every inch of shelf space stock from their central computers.

The food was still good and our service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive and even mentioned that business has been slow and encouraged us to leave a review, which is why I wanted to share our experience honestly. I understand that costs increase and businesses sometimes need to adjust prices, particularly with a change in ownership. But nearly doubling the price of a longtime lunch special without a noticeable increase in the main portion really changes the value. We got the CSA boxes from Marin Sun Farms for a couple of years and though convienient, we were not impressed with the taste of the beef. Holding Ranch beef, has, so far, been the best tasting beef so far. Also the quarter cow price is very acceptable.
