I have never had such professional, kind, attentive treatment in my life. When I began seeing Dr Serneel my kidney function was at barely 20 %. As of my last visit it was 63% and I attribute it all to Dr Serneel's focused approach to getting my numbers up. She and her staff will cause you to think that you are their only patient because they are so laser focused on any and all needs you have. He was a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy and was Staff Medical Officer in Support of Operation Desert Storm. When I met him I instantly liked him. He's kind, thorough, and very patient. I've never felt rushed in my visits and I always get the impression he truly cares about his patients. When I've needed to be referred to specialists he's always selected good ones for me. I was very concerned that I would have to delay three biopsies that had been moved up due to the results of recent diagnostic tests. Walgreens and CVS was booked solid, as was MedExpress and other urgent care facilities. I called Dr. Davis's office to get an appointment, but he would not see me. His office directed me to a specific facility for a COVID test, but it was $179. It would be covered at 100% with a doctor referral. I called Dr. Davis's office back and he refused to write me a referral - claiming that he hadn't seen me since last January, before the pandemic. I inquired with Moffitt, my gynecologist and cardiologist--my PCP was the only one that could write the referral. None of them understand why I had been denied, neither does my insurance company. I paid for the test and I am positive for COVID. It's not the money that is upsetting, it's the fact that I had to look all over town for testing feeling very ill. Also, that I have COVID and have to push out three very important biopsies - the stress of all that and that I have an unconcerned PCP. Or did. I have to look for a new one now - in the midst of being sick with COVID and facing possible cancer. I am still in total shock as to how I was treated. I even called back to ask why, but the doctor's assistant was uncaring and tried to justify their response even after I explained my situation again. She put the blame on Dr. Davis. It is incorrigible and I am left devastated by the experience.

She really seems to enjoy fully informing her patients so that they aren't surprised by anything or confused by anything. She also talks you through procedures so that you know what's going on. She seems very keyed into what you're experiencing and trying to make you as comfortable as possible. I honestly felt very comfortable with her form the get go, as though I've already known her for a long time. So far this is a great experience. I was super sad to leave my previous doctor when I moved down here, but Dr. Solomon might just be the perfect replacement! They are currently redecorating their office space. I like a lot of the individual pieces, but it's not even complete and seems to be a bit too busy to me. It's very victorian and swirly! I like the thought process behind the design, but I felt like I was in a bridal salon instead of a doctor's office and it was a bit weird.

She informed me she's "sick of people getting their information off social media posts", would not listen to my concerns, would not prescribe medication that I was asking for, would not look at my current prescriptions until I literally had to hold them up in front of her (to which she said she didn't know what that was), was dismissive, and gaslit me. What's more, during my papsmear she informed me I "felt like I was 14 weeks pregnant (bloated due to pms), and I needed an ultrasound to check for fibroids. Upon reading other reviews about this provider, it appears she has a habit of tactless bedside manner. Fat shaming for example, and I don't doubt it based on how she spoke to me. As a healthcare provider I would never treat my patients with such carelessness nor would I speak so dismissively to anyone. The reason for the 2 stars is Dr. Kline's lovely nurse. Hopefully she doesn't stay working here for too long at a place that totes misinformation about women's health. Her front desk staff was also very kind. The office is difficult to find off the road. Parking is very limited. Once you do find a parking spot, the office is located in one of the facilities hidden away in a word hallway with no windows. Please don't waste your time here.
