I saw Dr. Philippe for my three-month check-up and to review my blood work. He is always very informative and takes the time to explain everything clearly. He makes recommendations he believes will benefit my health and has a very pleasant bedside manner. The worst problem is the billing department. 2 of the most disrespectful gas lighting people I have ever spoke with. I had someone speak to Carrie from my insurance company. Later that day when I spoke with Carrie she tried to gas light me saying she never spoke with this person. The person told me Carrie's first and last name and gave me the phone number so that I could contact Carrie myself. This person does not know Carrie I guess this person pulled Carries name out of her backside. I know that this person spoke with Carrie because Carrie gave her the same b.s. runaround and excuses for all these charges that I owe because Carrie did the same thing to me. I have dual insurance so there is no charges to me yet I recv'd 6 bills in January of 2025. These bills were from January 6, 2024 to June of 2024. Hmmm over a year and now I get bills with no explanation. Carrie then transferred me to Sharon another gas lighter. Sharon started telling me stuff that I supposedly said to Carrie things that I never said. Sharon then started saying things to me trying to make me think I was crazy, saying that I did not know who I was calling. I asked her if she knew Carrie as Carrie was the one who transferred me to her. Sharon said she did know Carrie but then stated to me that she was the wrong person. Both times I have been here I had a good experience. Staff was nice and efficient. I'll definitely be coming back here.

The Clearwater location has good staff but Dr Ngo is bipolar to the second power. Though he is good at what he does he can become disrespectful at times to patients he thinks he can talk down to. On the other hand he berates his staff in front of patients which is not a good way of doing business. The staff tolerates his behavior my guess is because this is a right to work state. I feel he's aware of this which is a shame. One day Dr Ngo will say something to the wrong person and not like what their response is. For every action there is a reaction. I had an appointment for follow up check at 9:15 am, arrived at 9:05 am, got vitals checked at 9:20 am, and was told the Doctor would be in shortly. At 10:05 am, I stuck my nose out of the exam room to see what was going on. I was told the Doctor was running a little late and would get to me when he could. I thanked them for their time and left. I have not heard from them and suppose I won't. Not your normal good experience. read more

I went to this location because they have treated my daughter and it is close to our home. The office is very clean and the people working there are so nice. I had a very bad cough/congestion and wheezing in my chest. I was really feeling awful and nothing over the counter was working. The doctor listened to me and after examining me I was given an antibiotic. I feel so much better now and would recommend this office! read more

My first visit to Healthnow in Pinellas was as a walk in for urgent care in 2015. They were in my insurance and the closest facility so I gave them a try. Was pretty satisfied with the whole experience and Dr. Ngo is now my primary physician. When my insurance changed to Florida Blue I was very glad it was accepted there. Dealing with illness and the healthcare system is never easy or fun. Compared to my experiences at other places they are a big improvement. Grateful that they are around.
