I contacted the owner the very next day, explained the situation, and requested to be released. He spoke with me at length and said he would call me back--but never did. Despite multiple messages, I never received a response, and we were left stuck in the contract. To make matters worse, the contract auto-renews. It also took several requests before they finally provided us with a copy of the agreement. Based on my experience, I found this company to be unresponsive, untrustworthy and unethical. Finally, I tried to look up their business on the BBB of Denver. They are not listed. All flags I think you should consider before you move forward.

Initiating the project through the Yelp platform went smoothly and I was able to schedule service within a week. There were some communication delays as it got closer to the day of service. I had questions about the weed killer I'd purchased and wanted to know what the crew size would be. It took longer than I wanted to hear back and I expressed my frustration via text. Alex promptly offered to come over to my house and meet in person to answer my questions. JCB Landscaping is a family business and they had been celebrating their daughter's graduation, so the comms delay was understandable to me. The service was bumped to the next day when their trailer filled up sooner than expected. This was a minor inconvenience because my husband and I had been planning to go to a museum, but stuff happens ‍! The crew did an amazing amount of work in just a few hours, and the front and back yards looked very different: without all the weeds including many monster thistles, there were spaces for the eye to rest, and it was possible to enjoy the individual types of plantings.
