Float's are allowed even though website says otherwise I seen so many the past few times going. When you get there , there is a pool you'll visibly see but as you walk further down you'll see the very BIG spring/river fed swimming pool. If you bring things it has to be in a cooler, no glass, no styrofoam and there is a no tolerance rule on alcohol they will absolutely kick you out, no refunds. We brought a wagon (seen parents with strollers) and a small cooler for food and things. (Sodas, veggie tray, fruit, snacks) the workers WILL CHECK COOLERS so be weary! If you get there early there will be picnic tables available, you can also bring folding chairs and tables, if you don't bring either they allow quilted or picnic blanket. Please also know the water is EXTREMELY cold, 63 degrees, so if you bring little children I would recommend going to the kitty area that doesn't fully submerge them and that is tolerable. Life guards are everywhere so no worries there. The slide is also not there anymore but for a bit older kids there is a something they can swing off of that you'll pass when coming in. There's really something for all ages. THE WATER IS CLEAN!

Two play areas for kids -- one geared toward younger kids, one toward older -- a splash pad, pool (with kiddie and wading areas), volleyball court, basketball court, grilling areas, and more. Our kiddo loved the younger kid play area and splash pad. I liked that you could go and not even go into the pool area, but simply just hang out at the splash pad and still benefit from things like the restroom and snack bar (although it wasn't open yet the morning we went). Definitely plan to go back and explore it more fully on our next visit to the grandparents!

Billy has done a wonderful job taking care of the pool, the maintenance, upkeep of the playground and surroundings (bbq grills & parking lot). Very impressive. We were swimming in their outside pool this weekend with 20+ lanes. You could see all perfectly from the stands and a nice cool breeze blows over the trees while you watch. Plenty of room to spread out. The meet ran a little longer than anticipated, so I would recommend the meet organizer allows more time in their schedule or reduce the number of 10 minute breaks between events. Otherwise, everything else was great. I look forward to my kids swimming there again. Definitely worth the drive to San Antonio for a swim meet.

We have been all over the state of Texas for swim meets. This is the worst of them all. The…read morefacility is built as a greenhouse and with 112 heat index in Texas you can imagine how miserable everyone is. Then to add insult to injury they will only allow clear bags and no chairs. No outside food and beverages of any kind. They make you pour out any beverage you bring and yes, even just ice! No other facility is ran this restrictive. I hope they never have another event here unless they change their policy.

The parking lot is shared with yellow school buses, that took me way back to 2014 when I first got my Class B CDL. I started just like what they was doing, learning to parallel park and recite the air breaks. The new hires was all in the engine learning the air breaks, where the oil stick was or what ever they are required to learn now. Back then we didn't need to know that...thank heavens. Learning to recite and perform the air break test was the hardest obstacle for me, whew I'm sure glade that's over. I started with school buses and now I drive motor coaches.
