This one is, without any doubt, the WORST I've ever had. They started off great and got my pool back to blue after the last company let it just turn green. After a few weeks, however, they quit caring and my pool has been green for weeks (maybe even a couple of months). When I inquired about it, they claimed it was because of all of the plants around the pool. My backyard is landscaped but there's nothing about it that would cause it to turn green. It turned green, in my opinion, because they didn't want to spend the money necessary to keep it blue. Ultimately, I had to fire them because their pool tech started yelling at my housekeeper and got extremely aggressive. He even made veiled threats to me. I will get the money they required that I pay them in advance even if I have to sue them. My advice: DO NOT LET THEM ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR POOL. If I could give less than 1 star, I would give them a negative 5 star rating.

According to the app used to control the pump speed, it is much more efficient than I expected. I have never had a pool before, so learning how to correct the pool chemicals has been a learning experience, especiallybwith our private well water, but was able to it to get all tests to pass. First, there was confusion regarding the spa system. The contract explicitly specified a blower, yet I was repeatedly told it was a venturi system. I had to repeatedly defend and re-explain my own contract until they finally confirmed what was already documented. HOA submission guidance was also contradictory. I was initially told to reject incorrect materials, but later informed that "generic" selections would be used to gain approval. This raises serious concerns about their process, and I believe HOAs in the San Antonio area would be interested to know this approach may be used. Second, project coordination was inadequate. I had to repeatedly remind staff about irrigation sleeves under the patio, which would have been missed without my involvement. The concrete subcontractor was unaware. While I was told it was "documented," it clearly was not communicated to the field. Anything beyond a basic scope required constant oversight from me. Third, design changes were poorly handled. Adding steps was discussed early but deferred. When included via change order, the drawings were incorrect, resulting in an unsafe step height. Even when sub-contractor flagged it before the pour, no action was taken. When I raised concerns that evening, responses were delayed and dismissive, including unprofessional communication. Fourth, the spa masonry work is unacceptable. While the stone was fine, the top caps and waterfall tile were inconsistently installed, leaving large gaps and visible caulking. When I asked if the caulk line could be reduced, the mason began to agree but was interrupted by the owner, who insisted it was "standard." Corrections were later acknowledged, but the proposed fix exposed further errors. I agreed to a quoted change order, but the final price was increased. There was no accountability or effort to honor the original price. Fifth, site management and closeout were poor. Multiple requests were required to remove debris, leaving my yard in unacceptable condition, resembling a gravel pit. The pool was also turned over dirty despite repeated requests to clean it before pool school. Finally, I was concerned by the company's conduct outside the project. After anonymously seeking advice online, the owner inserted himself into the discussion and attempted to control the narrative despite not being identified. Overall, this project showed a pattern of deflection, poor communication, substandard work, and lack of ownership. I strongly recommend others proceed with caution. Update to Staycation Response: Kelley argued rather than reading the contract-poorly handled. The HOA concern is not misleading, and I did not request anything on a rushed timeline. You deceive HOAs to get approval. Claims that I requested extra work "during" construction are false; I discussed a Phase 2 patio/sidewalk after completion, and with you as well. I never berated anyone over $100, and all change orders were paid in full as shown. I have documented evidence (I'll post), including time-stamped photos (today), supporting all my statements and showing final conditions. I never threatened with a 1-star review for no-cost. Documented evidence shows how you handled this gave you a 5 to 1. You fabricate, lie and misrepresent to discredit me. They were always on time, very careful with where they set up their gear so as not to interfere with anything we had to do, polite and respectful, and always available/willing to answer whatever questions I had, giving full explanations so I could understand all aspects of the job. The crew also cleaned up perfectly at the end of each day. David, theq owner, came daily to supervise the work and make certain it was being done to his expected perfection. We were so pleased with the final outcome that we added two additional projects which David was very happy to provide and again did an excellent job! Definitely recommend this company!!!

Cans and trash and food wrappers, concrete everywhere, which is my "dogs fault." 2) I have a husky that goes outside to use the restroom and there was a butcher knife right by the side of the pool. Joe said my dog took the butcher knife and placed it next to the pool. Horizontally perfect. 3) Anything that went wrong he BLAMED 100% on me, my parents or my dog. Literally never took responsibility for anything. 4) Joe DOES NOT answer the phone when he knows he did wrong. Just call him a few times and wait a couple of days. 5) Joe never gave my parents a receipt for the job, even though he said he would 4 plus times.He even had the audacity to tell me and my parents that he left the paper outside on the patio and he said that if we didn't get it, it is our fault. He of course did not leave any type of papers. Plus if he was going to do that would he not have the decency to give it to my parents' in their hands???? I know for a fact he left no type of paper. 6) Joe said I was harassing him (I am the daughter of my parents.) because I was telling him to please not mess with my parents and give them a receipt. To this very day we still have never gotten a receipt. 7) The tiles have already cracked off, including some cracks on the plaster inside the pool, leading to leaks. (he said he would come by and fix it but he didn't.) 8) Joe took down the door of the backyard (of course necessary) and literally had it on the floor after it had been raining left with all this nice wet dirt. Its ok he has no time to have it leaned on a wall by my house or out of his way. 9) He decided to go and bring his supplies (plaster,concrete,paint,tiles etc.) through the left side of my parents house which was within OUR property line, but because the older woman next door, to my parents house did not want the grass being messed with, she got really upset and told them to use the other side. BUT Joe took the initiative to listen to a woman that has no right to tell them to go through the other side. IT IS OUR PROPERTY LINE. NOT HERS. Therefore he took the directions of the older woman next door and decided to go to the right side of the property where the pool filter was connected. 10) He took out my parents pool filter machine without even letting us know and left it in the grass like it was thrown there. 11) Joe doesn't even ask or tell my parents anything about any situation. My dad had to play investigator. 12) He removed all the water from the pool onto the public street, which is illegal in Leon Valley. Lucky my parents, nor him got a violation. 13) We had gotten Joe to re-do the concrete surrounding the pool because it was shifting and if not fixed the pool would not be salvageable. When he redid the concrete around the pool he did not set up his foundation properly. Barb wiring and the wrong type of soil. (That's a whole story on its own.) 14) Left paint stains on top of tiles and had the dripping look, where you could tell it was done very quickly. If you want a guy who blames all issues on you, leaves a butcher knife outside, trash and concrete everywhere, blames a dog took everything (concrete,knife,trash) and spread it around the backyard. Then this is your man! Have your own documentation, and be willing to be outside when the workers do their job. I was never going to write a review but my dad still tells me the issues that he has and how he is getting our monthly pool man to fix them. It made me very stressed because we have a entire year of "insurance" on the pool from Joe, so anything that goes wrong he will fix. Which he never did. Seriously this is a joke. I am upset because of what he did to my parents.My parents mean the world to me, and to see them upset makes me very sad and protective. They are older and they do not need the stress of some man who gets his money and goes missing.
