Archdale, N.C. Fast version: I highly recommend Davis Roofing Company service for anybody thinking of having a roof replaced, big or small, and any potential shape. They were able to do everything that I expected from my roof nightmare. You would never have known they were there after the job was complete. They didn't leave a trace. Professional in ever manner. Extended Version: For people that like to read Quick and prompt response after initial call to request quote. Phone call until person on site, 3 hours. I spent 4 days calling multiple companies to conduct my personal consciences of total cost. Out of the other companies I called. Davis was the only one to get up on the roof and physically and visionally inspect it. The roof was in total disrepair and had structural damage from neglect, from previous owners. Davis addressed all the issues that I knew there would be, so I was confrontable trusting them with the job. The quote was very reasonable and was subject to change due to the extent of the damage that I knew to be there when the existing roof was to be removed. Once an agreement was reached for the job, work began two business days later. Day one was removal and as expected roof, and structural repairs were needed. Davis took care of all the repairs immediately, as agreed upon. The removal was done swiftly and non-stop. Heavy tarps were placed around the perimeter of the home for anything that may or would have fallen from the removal process that did not fall into the dumpster of the truck. Day 2, Once the roof was repaired and replaced, the new roof was on in hours. Everything was clean looking (Old silicone and metal removed from house and chimney areas) and looked amazing. If not for wood repairs and replacement, the job would have been completed in one day. The next day the seamless gutters were installed, and I came home to the finish job. All equipment and waste were packed up and gone by the end of the second day. Honestly if I had not known a roof was being replaced, I would have never known anyone had been there to begin with. Everyone during the process was straight forward and professional from start to finish. From the initial phone conversation, on-site inspection/quote, job site manager, and explanation of guarantees of future services of job (which I do not feel like I will have to call upon) I highly recommend Davis Roofing Company service for anybody thinking of having a roof replaced, big or small, and any potential shape. read more

They are a great company who give back to the community. I approached them with a small job for a metal roof and the removal of skylights that were leaking. There was a bit of a hiccup and delay in scheduling. I did need to speak to the owner. He got right on it, took full responsibility and his team came out and went above and beyond. read more

Davis Roofing, in Archdale, just installed a complete roof on my house this past Friday the 15th. they were prompt in getting old shingles off and preparing roof for new shingles. They did a very good job, setting up, removing old shingles, installing new under-lay mat, and new shingles. They were very professional, and courteous. Job done in one day. Very good job in cleaning up after work was done. They went around the house with a magnet and got all the roof nails. Blew all debris of porches, and steps. Except for a new roof, you couldn't tell they had ever been there. Well done Davis roofing! read more

The roof was put in by Davis Roofing years ago without issue and was happy with them. Called for roof inspection recently as it has aged and leaked. Was told the leak was fixed. Paid for roof to be fixed, roof and gutter leaves cleaning. The gutter was not cleaned. Called again and finally came back in about two days to clean. Left one side of the gutter as is knowing my complaint was about the gutter not cleaned. The employee took pictures shows the cleaned gutter but not taking the side where he did not clean. Need to replace roof in a few years but this employee has ruined it all for the company! read more

I wrote this company a very fat check for a roof roughly 12 years ago. Architectural shingles and the whole 9 yards. The roof now has a leak. So I thought that the logical step was to call the roofing company who put on the roof. I was wrong. They treated me like dirt. Three full days after I called to tell them the problem and they said they would send someone out I had no call and no visit. When I called them (after three days) they told me that they were scheduling two to three weeks out and I MIGHT have an estimate by the end of the 5th day. Why didn't they tell me that when I first called? I called other companies and got appointments for the next day. Ridiculous. read more

They were fast. Getting the roof done in one day. But I have kids and I keep finding roofing nails all around the yard. New and old.

I contacted Davis Roofing when I had a roof leak in my bedroom (I had recently purchased the home). Very nice representative came out, and I decided to go ahead and have the whole roof replaced --in addition to the specific area of concern/leak being fixed-- to avoid additional expenses later. At the time of the visit, I asked them if I needed new wood, under the shingles, and was told 'no'. The first heavy rain after the entire roof replacement, my bedroom leak was still leaking, and in addition, I had several leaks which previously had not been leaking. I called Davis Roofing, and they were very curt, and would not help me (I see another review like that, and am actually amazed that there are not more). They would not take my calls, would not send anyone out. Basically, they said that they did not stand behind their "work", but that the "shingles" had a 20 year warranty. I have actually prayed for them, and for others who do business with them, that they do not experience the same treatment. Roof work is expensive for the consumer, and everyone deserves to have it done right, and to be treated with courtesy in follow-up, if it is needed. read more

I just wanted to let everyone know about a company that you may one day need. Davis Roofing in Archdale, NC. I had some roof leaks and was worried about maybe needing to replace the roof. David Powers came out to my house and gave me the report: excellent condition, maybe last me another 14-17 years. There was only some minor dry rot around the vent pipe causing the leak. This was good news since a company had looked at my roof two years ago and told me there was hail damage and the roof needed to be replaced. David Powers is an honest man and I would not dream of calling anyone else to replace my roof when needed. I am so thankful to add this company to my home maintenance list! read more
