Nope. The assigned adjuster (Josh Goldstein) regularly had taken weeks (and even more than a month on multiple occassions) to respond. Not an exaggeration and have plenty of text and calls to attest to this. Instead of effectively fighting for me, they got in the way of me being able to resolve or negotiate with the insurance company -- as they were not effective advocates. I worked with Peabody, Massachusetts office. In general, my recommendation is that you talk to your insurance agents before signing up with them or any public adjusters. Once you sign up with them, your hands are tied and you are completely reliant on them to negotiate with the insurance company.

Mr. Mason was extremely affable and explained the process clearly. He took a lot of the anxiety out of the experience, because he was soft-spoken, optimistic, and organized. I liked him too because he looked like Casey Affleck; my husband was impressed that he knew stuff about the Scottish Premier League. The professionalism of Corrigan, Bennett and Belfort was highlighted on the day of the hearing, when our well-prepared and calm Mr. Mason went up against the disorganized and nervous lawyer for the company. The next day--and the hearing didn't finish until 2:30pm--we got notice in the mail that the company had lost and that we got to keep the unemployment. I was actually going to give the law firm five stars anyway, but getting notice so fast after Mr. Mason had advised us that that particular judge was usually very fast just affirmed his skills. I was on my second back surgery, have severe neurological issues (for over 10 years) and was still being denied LTD benefits, from the SAME company that had been paying me my STD. I was a litigation paralegal for over 20 years, but had no idea what to do, or where to turn. My husband is also disabled and was nearly killed in a horrific accident in July of the same year.
