I found Symmetry Closets through Angies List. I contacted Bonnie and she responded quickly. This…read moreis a common theme for Symmetry quick and thoughtful responses. We had Bonnie do multiple closets in our apartment. She came in to measure and sent us her proposal. We wanted some changes and she was very open to making changes and giving us feedback. After we agreed on our layouts she came again to confirm all measurements. A week later Bonnie and her team showed up and worked to get the job done quickly but without sacrificing anything in quality. We love our new closets and would not hesitate to recommend Symmetry to anyone. We believe Bonnie really does care about the final product and she proved she was willing to work to make that happen (she helped do the install with her crew).

I worked with Sheree on designing two custom closets for our home in Brooklyn. The response time…read morewas good and pricing was fair. However, when it came time to install, they sent two men. One worked in our Master Bedroom, the other in the 2nd bedroom. Two days after installation, I discovered my engagement ring and diamond earrings missing from a box I had on my bedroom dresser (they arrived 1 hour early to the appointment, so I wasn't done removing and putting away all valuables). When I called the next day to report this to the Owner of the Company, I was told "Oh, well it must have been so and so, we fired him the day after your job because he was new and we didn't have a good feeling about him." There was no offer to rectify this and it's awful to know that they are employing people whom are sent into clients homes that are not vetted or who are not trustworthy.

Thanks to Gail, Lauren, Ann, and the rest of the team, everything was taken care of perfectly down to the last detail. What's more, everyone was incredibly kind and wonderful to work with which meant a lot to me during a difficult time. I'm so grateful to Done & Done and recommend them highly.

I have a reasonable amount of stuff for a single person, and as it tends to do, it accumulated after a few years. (Not hoarder-status or anything, but still.) I work a lot, and I just had no time to organize myself. A friend turned me onto this service, and I'm so grateful. I'm normally a little weird about letting random people into my place (stranger danger and all that), so the fact that it's is run by a mother and daughter was a big plus for me. It sounds like they usually deal with larger scale operations than my place, but they didn't make me feel like a small project or like I was a lower priority. I was seriously ready to just move to a new place, but they saved me a huge expense by going through what I really needed to keep and organizing it in ways that I would never think of myself. From the initial quote conversation to the final product, they were so great. I stayed home most of the time that they were there working, but I didn't feel weird leaving them alone in my house, which was nice. Eventually I moved back to California, but I ended up staying in that apartment a year longer because of the work they did. They space felt bigger and brighter once they were done . . . and done. (See what I did there?)

Absolutely love my new closets! I was referred to CT Professional Closets from a colleague of mine,…read morewho used them to redo a closet in his house. He and his wife had nothing but positive reviews from their experience, and they both still love their closet (years later), so I decided to give Ken a call. Ken was great and very easy to work with. He came for an initial consultation and worked with me on designs that would help me get what I needed from my closets - I had three I needed redone (a hall closet, a bedroom closet, and a closet I needed to rework for use with my small business inventory). Ken was even able to work with me to design a bench to go under the window in my bedroom that would add needed storage to the space. At the consultation, Ken had samples of all the different colors and finishes available and took measurements of everything so he could make an accurate design proposal. He also took the time to answer all my questions around material durability and how I could best use the space. He was very knowledgeable about different setups and offered suggestions on how to utilize every inch of space for my needs. Even taking measurements of the length of my longest coat and the height of my vacuum so he could factor those into the height needed for hanging space and a cubby for my cleaning supplies - something I may not have considered right away if I was designing a closet myself. After the consultation, he sent me a design proposal showing the proposed layouts for all the closets and window bench as we had discussed. One view was a visual mock-up of the designs to help me visualize the space, and the other was a spec view with all the measurements of the design. I was also getting the closet doors replaced (using another company) and when I discovered that the middle section of drawers on one of the closets was going to run into the new sliding doors, Ken quickly worked with me to update the design and shifted the layout of the drawers so there would be no issues getting them open. Once I approved the design and placed my deposit, Ken got the design ordered quickly with the manufacturer and was able to give me a date for installation (which was the actual date of installation). Even though I had to wait a bit to get my new closets (due to longer lead times from the manufacturer still arising from the pandemic), Ken was very upfront about the timeframes, and I can say now that the closets are installed that it was well worth the wait. On the day of installation, Ken and his team were very professional. They arrived early and got everything up to my apartment so they could start on time - which may not always be the case given NYC traffic, but thankfully worked out for me. Before they got started and brought any of the materials into my apartment, they placed protective blankets not only in front of the closets, but all the way from the front door to the closets so that my floors would be protected the whole time. I had an old closet system that was getting replaced and Ken was able to remove the old system and disposed of it for me, so I didn't have to worry about doing that myself. Installation went quicker than I thought, and Ken made sure that the system was setup correctly - my floors are not level, so he made sure the built-ins were both level and structurally stable. Also, before drilling any holes for the window bench handles, he double checked with me to make sure I still wanted the handles in the position we had discussed in the design proposal. After the installation was completed, Ken and team got everything cleaned up - even sweeping and using a handheld vacuum to clean up any small debris from the area and making sure the space was as clean as when they arrived. Ken also did a walk-through with me to make sure I was happy with everything - he offered to adjust any of the shelves if I wanted to change the spacing from what was on the proposal layout and showed me how to adjust them myself if I decided later on to move them around. He also offered to come back and adjust anything after my new closet doors were installed in case I have any issues. It's been a few weeks now since the closets and bench were installed and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Ken and his team!

CT Professional Closets does not guarantee their work and product. Ken's team (which looked like 2…read morehigh school kids he got off the street) did a sloppy job with the installation. The closets were installed crookedly and the materials were not high quality and had chips on them. When we asked Ken to fix our issues by ordering new materials, he kept delaying until he decided to just outright ignore my emails and phone calls. Is this how a customer should be treated? Ken has now decided it was "professional" to block my phone number so I can stop harassing him to finish the work that his team failed to deliver on from over a year ago. In addition, when I called him using a different phone number today, he decided to pick up the phone and then professionally hang up. Again, is this how any customer should be treated? They may be cheaper than their competitors, but Ken does not deliver on his "guarantee" and should NOT BE TRUSTED or used for any closet work.
