When I made the appointmen, I was assured that Dawn had experience with grooming Labradoodles and that she had "special" equipment to accommodate the needs of a senior dog....she had "special " equipment all right. When we got home, we noticed Bailey was bleeding; I called the "groomer" and was told, "oh yeah, I must've nicked her." Dawn has groomed my family dog for years. our elder dog was a bit grumpy and Dawn had an amazing way to groom. nails and make Zoe' happy and and calm and always be cared for. Worst groomer I ever come across. Her husband was rude on the phone. She traumatized my 4lb Yorki. She either hit him or dropped him. Grooming skills suck. She forgot to cut his nails she also didn't do his ears. Please save your pets, choose someone else! read more

Not the greatest groom I've ever seen, but she was attentive and empathetic when I told her about the bad experiences my dog has had at big chain groomers in the past. She made sure to make my dog feel comfortable and prioritized my concerns - the dog's comfort and stress-aggravated heart murmur - when giving me advice about what grooming options would be a good idea for us. We had a positive experience and my dog was relaxed and happy at the end, which is more than I can say about PetSmart. read more

I needed a cat groomer in Nashua for my mother's cat, who was very matted, and had never been to a groomer. I was fairly apprehensive, and the first few places I called said they did not do cats. My mother has dementia and gets quite anxious/angry at times, so how the groomer handled my mother was every bit as important as how she handled the cat. Dawn was wonderful on both counts. Neither the cat or my mother showed more than a few seconds of distress at any time, and when there was any hint of distress, Dawn immediately adjusted and smoothed things over beautifully. The trailer she uses is small, but seemed well-stocked. The "mobile" part was a bit of a misnomer, since we had to go to her, but it worked out OK. The price was less than the original quote, so that was another plus. I would definitely go back if needed. read more

It got to a point where taking my cat in a crate to the groomer was too stressful for him so I decided to search for a mobile groomer. There's not many groomers in general that will groom cats and Dawn doesn't specialize in cats but she was kind enough to take us on as a new client. She didn't bat an eyelash. She was up front with me, told me she'd do her best and it has been about 3 or 4 years now and she still comes to the house for Moe. She does a great job under the circumstances of our cat getting feisty and skittish in his old age but she does great. So grateful that she was so willing to take us on. read more

Came on time, but expensive and has no clue how to groom cats. Not a professionally trained cat groomer. Cut our cats 'choppy' with chunks bare while in other places kept long hair. Thinned out tails way too much. Also did not wash and shampoo the cats as was agreed at reservation (but charged as such!). The reason given was that she could not use washing equipment and airconditioning in her 'cart' at the same time (by the way, she needs the customer's power supply as has none herself!) The fact that this mobile groomer arrived in a 'horse trailer' type of vehicle instead of a professional pet grooming van, should already have alerted me that this is an amateur, but I had decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. I called Dawn since my pet has trouble going out to a groomer and being left in a cage waiting for us with god knows how many other animals have been in it and have they been cleaned in between. You get what you pay for Dawn came to out house to cut my dog. It has been the best experience for us and our dog. We have used her ever since. I watched her cut out dog in our yard he does very well with her and she is very accommodating.Our dog has no problem being groomed with Dawn and that is what is important. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed with this business. I put out several calls to try to get in touch with a groomer in my area for this was the first time needing one. They got back to me and I made an appointment for 4 days away. In the meantime several other groomers got back to me and I told them I was all set. Comes the night before the appointment they called and confirmed my appointment for the next day. The day of the appointment 25 minutes before she was supposed to be there they called and cancelled. We called them back and rescheduled for the following day. The time of the appointment came up nobody's there we called them to find out what was going on and they said she was running a couple minutes behind schedule. Well she didn't show up for 25 minutes after the appointment time. And I told her to leave. So as far as how she Grooms the dogs I can't give you that but she's definitely unreliable. read more

Dawn cut our Wheaten Terrier Annie's hair for years. Annie was a very difficult dog when being groomed but Dawn was always so patient with her. She always made Annie look beautiful when she was done. :) read more

Dawn handled our 90 pd lab with efficient and caring hands. Our lab is 9 years old, anxious and very talkative. She has arthritis with past tplo surgeries. Her last grooming at a well-known doggie resort was a disaster! Without broing you with details, she lost most of her tail (it looked as if something sharp had knicked her) and her underskin was bright pink from the brush. Dawn was fabulous - our girl actually jumped back IN to the trailer after her grooming was finished! We are so happy to have found this dog lover! read more

I have been using Dawn for at least five years. My dog is very timid and she is GREAT with him. In fact, she even allows me to come in while she shaves him to calm him. I get an up close look at how she operates. Dawn is patient, her truck is clean and she minimizes the dogs stress. I would and have recommended Dawn. At home dog grooming is a bit more pricey, no matter who you use, but worth it if you are rushed for time or have a timid dog like mine that does not like the car. I always tip her when she is done because I am that satisfied. read more

So they called to confirm our appointment the night before (Thursday) for Friday. 25 min before he calls and canceled ‍ Said an emergency came up... I gave them benefit cuz things happen and rescheduled for today at 2! So 2:05, 2:10 Nothing! I CALL and guy says "yep she's running late"! 2:15, 2:20, finally at 2:26 She pulls in I say "Nope, We are all set"!!! I used this service twice. The first time she came on time and I stayed in the trailer while she groomed my dogs. The grooming was expensive. This time the actual grooming was pretty good. Dawn does not have a way of holding the dogs on her grooming table. She pushes them against the back wall. The second grooming was AWFUL. I have Yorkies. She forgot to clip their ears, which are suppose to be shaved at the tips. Their hair was cut uneven all over the body and she never trimmed their belly area She forgot to cut their nail and had to take them back to do it. When I bathed them the following week all of them had left over shampoo still in their fur. One of my dogs cowers now when put on the table. Not sure if he fell or she hurt him. In short, she's not professional. Her grooming trailer is a small horse trailer that is very dirty and kind of falling apart. I will never use her again. You shouldn't either! read more

Dawn arrived on time and with what we saw as a very professionally equipped trailer. This was our toy poodles first grooming and she did a great job. So good in fact that our neighbor who saw her in our driveway came by and asked to have their toy poodle groomed as well. On time, professional, great with Maggie and our neighbour's dog! OMG can't believe the bad reviews. Dawn is so awesome with my 2 little dogs, one peek-a-poo, and other shitzu mix. Both my dogs have anxiety and she is so so great with them, talking to them and calming them down. She has never been rushed to get out of here and always pleasant to chat with. We have had her for for so many years and she always wants to make sure the cuts look good etc....never had to have her fix something. I personally would never use a pet store to groom my dogs with all the germs and potentially contagoius sickness they get from places like this. She is very pro active in cleaning up and disefnfecting before leaving to go to next client. Gizmo & Rhemy luv U ! read more
