Although we were outside of his service area, Jim still took the time to help us. After getting a $1,400 quote from another company, we contacted Atlantic. Jim spoke with us over the phone, diagnosed the issue right away, told us exactly which parts to buy from a local home improvement store, and even gave us a realistic idea of what a local handyman should charge to install them. He said he'd be happy to walk us through the repair over the phone if we decided to tackle it ourselves -- all completely free of charge! We hired Jason to assemble a high quality aluminum pergola that we purchased online after doing…read moremuch research. Although the manufacturer indicated this was a DIY type assembly, the instructions convinced us otherwise. It was definitely a two man job and required the right tools. Jason brought a partner and did the assembly on a pretty cold day in January. They arrived on time and did a great job, including securing the pergola to an new concrete patio slab, hauling away all the packaging materials and cleaning up the job site. We are so glad we hired Jason and would definitely use him again. Jason is professional and reasonably priced and we definitely recommend him as a handyman based on our experience.
