This is one popping place In Missouri City / Sugarland. How did I not know this place existed. One thing I love about MoCity is all the gems that are just buried unsuspecting that will blow your mind. There is no billboard or web article acclaim - but when you step inside you are transported to warmth and love on 100. This place is no exception. Such a cozy feel, the baristas are so kind and accommodating, actually smiling - can you imagine that?! They genuinely take interest in you. Here is the set up. There are so many chairs and tables, it feels like you're in a massive well decorated living room. Ample space to spread out and work or study or read scripture. Speaking of reading scripture - if God made coffee on Day 6 it was because the two new humans made him exhausted. That's why he needed rest on Day 7 teeheehee. I had a matcha latte. It was wayyyy to sweet for me. Considering I do not have a single sweet tooth in my mouth and usually drink my matcha plain. They were kinda and gave me a coffee on the house with free refills. My friend had me pick up coffee and breakfast here while we were in the area. It has been on my list to check out. I got there right at Saturday opening & a customer was already there studying/working. The brick wall and forest wall mural with indoor dim lighting gave a cool and chill cafe vibe. The employee was welcoming and friendly while I made my final order decision. I got the matcha latte with oat milk (vanilla syrup is used) & jalapeño sausage & cheese kolache. My friend got a Texas latte & sausage breakfast sandwich. My friend said the latte was energizing & the sandwich was perfectly filling. My matcha latte was little too sweet and creamy for me so I'll probably just need to make little adjustments for my preference next time like almond milk and less syrup. The kolache was a very good serving size and only wish I had a stronger jalapeño taste. We definitely need to come back for another visit soon! read more

You can either order online or at the register and they give you a number stand then afterwards they will call your number you will have to go pick it up. It looks like they're low staff so the service is delayed and there was a line when i got there. I did notice they had someone that came in as a regular and got better treatment than any other guest. The atmosphere reminded me of a library or cozy like a home. They had tons of seating and more towards the back. The decor had plants, books, dresser, couches, and lamps. There was patio seating too outside. I ordered the Texas latte iced. It's one of their specialty lattes and when I received it the coffee was still warm, the ice wasn't mixed in the drink. After I mixed it myself it did have a nice flavor to it. I believe it has Carmel in it. I mostly tasted the milk more than anything and I got it with oat milk. I also tried the kolache brisket with cheese. The kolache was a big size this was more than enough to call breakfast. The outer layer wasn't soft it was more dense, firm, and overcooked. The brisket meat was also a little tough and dry. I had to really use that bbq sauce they gave me to help me finish it and I barely could taste any cheese. Overall, I really liked the design and the cozy vibes I got. However, the food and drink was not up to par. I actually wanted to give this place 2 stars because of the vibes but based on the quality I cannot. read more

The coffee and the pastries are absolutely delicious. The ambience is casual, cozy and comfortable. Today was my third visit and usually the customer service is very pleasant but today, the poor cashier must've been having a really bad day. And she let us all feel it. I approached the counter to place my order. She never said one word. I said the hellos and the intro and my order and paid and she never spoke a word. I hope her day gets better. Bless her heart. Thoroughly enjoyed my drink here and service was friendly! I ended up trying the taro latte and it was delicious! A bit pricey since I added the oatmilk, but overall it was worth it. Next time I would like to try lavender. You can have it with or without espresso, which was nice. The only downside was the loud talking, but I guess it's a good sign when customers are on a first name basis with baristas. But that made it difficult for me to focus, so I left early. I ordered their matcha latte because it was a starred item on their menu. I had let them know I wanted it less sweet and got 75% sweetness. It is still beyond sweet, I taste no matcha at all it's like if you've ever eaten a vanilla pudding. Just milk and sweetener. Do not order their matcha. read more

day 6 coffee is one of my favorite cafes to go to! the interior is so cozy, with comfy couches, armchairs, and a fireplace that makes it the perfect place to study or catch up with friends. i come here all the time, and it always feels welcoming the service is sooo friendly and warm, which really adds to the experience. however, i do wish there were a few more outlets, especially for longer study sessions their hot lattes are amazing, very rich and creamy. the vanilla + lavender syrup combo is so good overall, rlly good vibes, great drinks, and a spot i'll always keep coming back to! read more

I rate coffee shops primarily for their coffee not the shop atmosphere. The actual expresso drinks here are good for those who appreciate quality coffee. I typically get a vanilla latte or cappuccino but decided to try a vanilla cortado. The person taking my order was knowledgeable & able to quickly explain the difference in a cappuccino vs a cortado. With equal parts expresso & milk, the cortado was a perfect coffee/milk ratio to enjoy the coffee without all the extra milk. The adjustment of only 1 shot vanilla instead of the standard 2 shots, created just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. I enjoyed my coffee so much I came back 2 days later for a 2nd cortado. The coffee shop does have a cozy, chill vibe. I ordered a to-go coffee but the great background music made me want to stay. read more

Came here recently to meet a friend for coffee and was so impressed with how cute this spot is. Plenty of tables and comfy seating available. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a group over the size of 5-6 people, but perfect for smaller groups. I tried the matcha latte which was truly delicious. I found Day 6 coffee to be just ok. I really enjoyed the interior (especially the back room, where it felt like a nice cozy home), however the coffee was quite mid. I ordered an iced lavender latte and my fiance ordered an iced cappuccino. Both espresso drinks tasted over-extracted with that slightly burnt flavor. It was honestly a but underwhelming. Maybe with a few adjusments, Day 6 coffee could be more enjoyable for me. I think in the future, I would visit Day 6 again if I needed a space for a meeting or to catch up with friends, however, I would not make dedicated trips just for the food or the coffee. read more

Found my new regular spot! Perfect for getting work done: free WiFi, plenty of tables, and not overcrowded like other local shops. The staff was very friendly as well. I had the apple cinnamon muffin and it was perfect!! So rich, so fresh and so moist. My latte was perfectly made too. Very cozy place. The back looks like someone's living room. The fireplace works btw it's electric and super warm. The walls have plenty of outlets. Front of the place has a pretty decent amount of seats. Always packed though, we got lucky finding our seats. The kolache is kinda pricey. I got the jalepeno sausage kolache ($6) + light mocha latte ($5). My bf got the cheesecake latte (forgot how much) Kolache: 8/10 super spicy for some reason, but good flavor. The bread part isn't usually kolache bread, but still good just different. Light mocha latte: 9.7/10 nothing special but a great classic. Cheesecake latte: 6.5/10 So SO sweet. Tasted better when the ice diluted the drink, but still really sweet. Worth a try though, I like that they have variety in food and drinks. read more

In Sugar Land for the weekend and wanted to try a new coffee shop so I came here to Day 6 The very first thing I loved about the place was the Ambiance! They have a bunch of nice plants by the front and a great lounge area in the back! I ordered the Iced Caramel Latte, Iced White Mocha, Chocolate Croissant, and the Brisket and Cheese Kolache The Latte and the White mocha were both great and for $5 each it was not a bad price. The chocolate croissant was good too and the chocolate tasted great! The only thing I'd say against it is that it was a bit flat and very messy. The kolache was alright, good size, but the flavor wasn't really there. Also was a bit expensive at $6. Overall I had a good time! Wish I could've spent time in the lounge area but it was very busy. Great service, Matthew is very friendly! Day 6 is a great place to remote work or study, there is a back area that has extra seating and a good vibe to chat with friends or even read a book. The tables along the walls have outlets but they get taken pretty early. They offer a variety of breakfast options and are vegetarian friendly. Lots of drink options as well! read more

Decided that this word be my Friday WFH space and I was not disappointed. It was nice and intimate as I selected a sofa in the back. The lighting was low and perfect, music was great and the space was very clean. The menu has so many things to choose from. I ordered the regular drip coffee, 2% milk and French vanilla syrup addition. I also order a sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich. Everything that hot and fresh. My order came out fast and soon after I was done, they were there to clean up everything. I will definitely be back. I now see why they have a constant flow of traffic all day. read more

Was visiting home and searching for coffee shops nearby and found out that Day 6 took the place of the bakery that used to be in this plaza. The shop is pretty cute and spacious with seating towards the front as well as in the back. I ordered an iced lavender latte w/ whole milk; I was afraid it'd be too sweet which I feel can happen with lavender coffee drinks, but thank goodness it wasn't overwhelming - I'd say the perfect level of sweetness for coffee in my opinion. It cost $6.50 which is a bit much, but the cups are quite big so in that sense, the value is better than a lot of other coffee shops that charge the same amount for a smaller size. Overall I think a solid coffee shop choice in Sugar Land! read more

This place is sooooo cute. I love the cozy feeling. This was my first time and I had a boudin kolache I normally don't order kolaches but this one filled with rice and boudin sausage was surprisingly good. I also had their signature coffee; Texas Latte. Which was really good too. But what got me the most was the ambiance. Theres also a back area, thats way more exclusive.
