I let them take advantage of our family…read more TLDR: I believe they overcharged us. $409 for 5 seconds of diagnostics and 25 min of labor including 3 trips to the truck (one was to retrieve a replacement pin for one that had been dropped in to the wall), and a $60 part that they itemized as $340 on my bill. I called multiple times to speak with the field manager and was not able to connect with him. We had a leak in our shower that the technician with five seconds of looking at it determined he was 99% confident on what the issue was. He started repairs at 1:46 PM and finished at 2:11 PM with everything working. Our work starting window being (11-2pm) My issue comes with the fact that I think they overcharged us for the job that they did. After writing the check and thinking over the entire interaction, I began to feel very uneasy with how everything played out. I was not given a breakdown prior to the service beginning. Only a line on a phone to sign that I agreed to the price. I was not offered the opportunity to read what I was signing (nor did I ask, which is my fault.) no shoe covers were worn in our home which now has subsequent consequences for my time of needing to get out of the spot cleaner. Only after the project had been complete was I given an explanation of what labor went on (again my fault for not asking prior to). When I initially made the appointment, I was given the price for the service call, but I neglected to ask what their minimum job cost is (still not sure of what that is). Afterwards, I called the office trying to get a better idea of why the cost was so high. My frame of reference being that we had had a kitchen faucet and a disposal replaced within the last year with Fitzgerald and neither of these items including parts cost more than $400. The lady in the office was very kind and offered to put me in touch with the field manager. He did give me a call back after a few days however I was not in a place to chat with my Twins screaming in the backseat. I did call two other times to try and get in touch with him and have not received a call back to date. Overall, I learned a lot from this experience, and I believe it's important to share so that others understand how to advocate for themselves in an area in which they might not be technically skilled. Ultimately, they are well within their right to cash my check because I did agree to the price. I however will be asking a lot more questions next time, and probably be seeking a different company. I took their marketing for face value and feel like stewardship was mishandled. Our technician rusty was great! Very respectful that we had three children napping when he came to do repairs. After the repair, he explained to me what he did. Was very courteous to me. My only qualm was that he did not wear shoe covers and our home and had to walk through our master bedroom that has beige carpet and I will need to get out our spot cleaner to clean this up.

I checked everything he told me on the internet and it all checked out as true. We now are owners of a remarkable hot water tank that has the ability to heat up 50 gallons of hot water in about an hour. I am thankful that the carbon monoxide problem was solved. We have used many different plumbers over the years and none of them recognized the dangerous code violation. I learned that he is a Master Plumber, which has more training. The entire job cost less than I had expected so overall I am a very happy customer!

I was referred to Plumb Ready Plumbing by our septic guy. My septic pump died, and had been so overfilled that our septic caused a blockage from the main line into our house. I got in touch with the Plumb Ready team, and was told that Roland would be able to make it out to me same day. He arrived in less than 2 hours. He told me the price range upfront, which was determined by the extent of the work needed. I really appreciated that. Additionally, I felt like he was someone I could trust, and he explained things to me in a very clear manner. He not only fixed the blockage, but also noted that our pipes were quite old and made out of cast-iron, and explained to me how cast iron can weaken over time. I appreciated the advice on replacing our pipes going to septic. I really appreciated the communication, the quickness to come out, and the overall service they provided here. They have done an amazing job at a fair price. On the last day at the last minute, it was discovered I have a blockage in my kitchen plumbing. Bruce stayed behind for a couple of hours until he could get it cleared. He even had to get up on the roof in the rain to knock down through the vent pipe to release the blockage.
