Another Update for Google and Yelp 8/19/26: Technician…read morefinally showed @11:20am on 8/19/26. Tech called and asked how I was doing and my reply was awful and he proceeds to say that's good. Finally fixed but just waiting for the next outage on this terrible service. Reliable should be called NotReliable. My mother's unit stopped about 3 weeks ago and it took a week and my grandsons great great grandmother's unit went out as well and they won't arrive to her for almost two weeks for repairs. Both were purchased through Reliable so pleeeeeeeease BEWARE. They don't deserve ANY star for their services and customer etiquette is non existent. Another Update: August 17, 2026 My AC has completely gone on out me on yesterday with health issues, an elderly parent in their 80's here, and a toddler grandson. Reliable states that I'm in a rural area and although the feel is like 110 degrees outside, my thermostat reads 98 degrees, we have nowhere to go. All representatives I speak to advises that we're suppose to wait from Sunday Morning on August 16, 2026 until Wednesday August 19th from 8am-12pm to actually breathe. It's okay for us to pass away from heat exhaustion in our home but illegal by law if in a vehicle. Ive politely begged to speak to someone higher and was not allowed. I've called 3 times with no real resolution for this dire situation for my elderly parent and toddler grandson. I also work from home. BEWARE, DO NOT get fooled. I was also advised that I'm in a rural area but keep in mind that they sent a technician out to get me to buy this awful service in that same rural area the very next day with no problem whatsoever. If heat exhaustion occurs, I must sue. I pay on time each month and get regular scheduled maintenance in which they recently completed. Update: Received a call from them after the review stating someone will be out to fix the ventilation in the rooms and their insurance will get back with me soon. 1:30pm Worst service I have ever seen. Spoke with someone almost two weeks after my system installation due to the system being put in my home improperly and flooding my floors walls and ceilings and no one has reached out to me to assist with any accommodations other than a restoration service. I have loud dehumidifiers hooked up to increase my electric bill (not on a generator), I work from home so the noise is a problem, no type of compensation for this huge inconvenience to come home to after returning from a trip to see my home like this with children, hardly any air coming through the vents in my children rooms causing it to be extremely hot during the day and night, and no responses via email from the one point of contact I was given 5 days ago. Floors coming up in bedrooms and hall floor with odors of mold and my kids and I have terrible allergies. I have never seen such worst customer etiquette in my life. I thought I would have cool air in every room and to move in to my next renovation project when returning home. My floors just have never been right since the flood to my home.

I discovered that my water heater stopped working on Christmas eve of all days. I left work early…read moreand wanted to wind down with a hot shower. I turn on the shower and realized it was not warming up. Went downstairs to check the circuit breaker and what do you know, the breaker was tripped. Cutting it on solved my problem right? Ehhhhh nah. I called Roto-Rooter first (see my review for them) and they kept pushing my time out till the point that it was nighttime. I didn't feel comfortable with that so I canceled with them and called Ridgeway the next morning. The technician was very timely (he actually got to my house before I did and he didn't mind one bit), very friendly and professional. He explained to me that one of my elements in my water heater had corroded and suggested that if he replaced one he might as well replace the other one. That was a good move because both of them looked like someone spilled battery acid on them. He also explained to me that my water heater was manufactured in 2004. I moved in my brand new house in 2007 and I wondered why I had an issue with that water heater in 2008. Horrible (Georgia construction laws are horrible). So needless to say my water heater is already 8 years old. SMH Anyway it took him less than a hour to complete the work and he informed me that if the water heater started acting up again I could call him back and he would replace the heater minus part of the cost of the elements so I wouldn't be out so much money. I thought this was really nice. My lesson learned here is to go with smaller, non-chain companies. You get a better experience overall. I'm sure I would have been PISSED by time Roto-Rooter got finished (and my pockets way lighter) I will continue to use them in the future!

Literally called them on the second day they were supposed to be coming out and the lady told me 2 techs just left her office. I called 2 hours later because they still weren't there and she said she didn't know where they were. This back and forth continued all day long. She assured me the owner would "try" to get there that evening because he was working in Atlanta. The whole time I stayed patient realizing this was a small business. Knowing that we had been without hot water for 5 days they stopped responding to texts and calls. That's when I called another local plumber that came out the same day and fixed the issue. This was my experience with this company.

We set the appointment for the following day, we were notified via text message with a photo of the technician that would arrive to perform the work. I have found my "go to" company for my plumbing repairs. These guys are great!

He explained everything in plain language, which I really appreciated, and recommended Archer Restoration to handle the mitigation and restoration. He even called them on my behalf, explained exactly what he had found, and made sure I had the necessary paperwork to send to my homeowners insurance claim adjuster. Kyle was knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely helpful during what could have been a very stressful situation. Excellent customer service from start to finish! Thank you, Kyle!

UPDATE 4/18/26: After documenting a life-threatening exhaust/water-heater backdrafting emergency,…read morethe responsiveness from RS Andrews has been appalling. Nick called but did NOT disclose it was his last day, as later confirmed by Rolanda. Despite on-site confirmation of a hazardous safety issue, management (Albert) attempted to schedule a fix for April 21--leaving me in a home with active exhaust fumes. He found no issues with a "proposal" written on a $0 Receipt Note, despite clear issues detailed in my email. This proves that he either did not read or does not understand his job. A $0 Receipt Note is NOT a formal company proposal. Furthermore, this document contains Critical Legal & Professional Failures - this list is not exhaustive: 1. The proposal cites a South Carolina Mechanical License (#115146) for a Georgia property, making it legally void. - WARNING to future customers. make sure the license is from GA if you are located in GA. 2. The proposal cites an incorrect service address, potentially invalidating insurance coverage. - ANOTHER WARNING to potential customers. 3. INACCURATE and PADDED SERVICE SCOPE/PRICE: Technician Jose - no longer with company either - claims 'structural joist pocket' cutting is required ($1,500), yet the basement is open and requires only brick core drilling. Many of my specific requests were omitted from scope, making it impossible to claim if not installed - even if "included" in price. 4. Legal Disclaimers in Notes: A technician is NOT a lawyer and cannot override institutional contracts. Notes claiming "no responsibility for structural damage" contradicts standard professional liability for negligent installation. 5. The company is liable for the actions/inactions of of employees in R.S. Andrews vans/outfits. People SHOULD NEVER risk exposure to flue gases while this company ignores emails for days and violates codes. I will consider reporting this to the Georgia Secretary of State. 4/1/26: I called, they told me they did not do Combustion Air Intake installations. But they do. Then, I got a call back from Nick who was kind enough to listen and tell me that they could do that work. I told him I would call back if I needed them - I was having another company come over an check - I called back twice never to hear from Nick again. I still need this done (having a window open is not a long term solution). I hope they call and help so I can change my opinion on them.
