To make a long story short I bought a new home and it needed a pressure test before they can install the gas meter, and I needed heat which meant I needed gas. I called four places and Harding charged about half what the others were charging. Their employee arrived on time and performed the test. He accidentally left the pressure gauge on and they sent a guy out to fix that as quickly as they possibly could. They were friendly, professional and efficient. An excellent quality service. If I need services in the future they will be my first phone call! read more

I was sold a dishwasher plumbing part for $60.00 on top of the $89 service call fee. Dishwasher still leaking. I finally order a new dishwasher. The installation team told me the part installed by Harding was worth $10 tops and I did not need it. I feel so ripped off! read more

Something has happened at Harding. We had another leak and called them. First guy arrived confirmed the problem and said no problem the repair guy will be out in a day or two. Two days roll by, I call to check and the one answering the phone said I'll check and call you back. Two hours roll by and the guy answering had no clue. Just said his slab guy was in a car accident and will be back in 2 weeks maybe. It sure would have been nice to at least to have offered to come back out and cap off the leaking line. Every time I turned on the water to shower or do laundry the master carpet got soaked. I finally got smart and went to Lowe's and bought a cap to bypass the leak. They have definitely lost my trust. I've always had good service from Harding in all aspects. Two weeks earlier they repaired a water main line break same day. This time my AC went out on Sat and I knew I had to wait til Mon. I called and said Tues would be earliest, but they called back and said cause of a cancelation they'd be out that day. They quickly found the issue and resolved it. AC is vey important to me as I have COPD and the heat and humidity do not help me. Now I'm cool and feeling much better. Thanks to Jacob and his partner. read more

Had another company come out and tell me I had a refrigerant leak, causing my system not to cool. They wanted $800 to find the leak and fix it. Called Harding and explained and they told me the price which was less than $200 to have a leak found. Called them out and the technician found out it was not a leak but a faulty valve causing the issue. Valve was under warranty so I just paid for labor. Only reason I took a star off is because I was told two different prices for the labor and it took about a week and a half for the valve to come in. Would highly recommend though. read more

Left my attic a mess. Wires all over the place. Back in November, I hired them to repair my heater. Two techs showed up and couldn't get it working saying something about a board needing replacement. I asked about the price and was told about $500. Ok. The techs returned saying they needed to do some other stuff. Now I'm getting suspicious so I contacted another provider who came to my house and told me to come into the attic - they left my attic a mess - wires ALL OVER THE PLACE. See pics below. I uploaded the photos to their website and Gary contacted me. We went back and forth with me telling him that I wanted someone there immediately to restore my unit to what it looked like prior to their arrival. After getting nothing from Gary who has no customer service skills, I contacted the office and spoke with Jack Harding, who dispatched one of the techs to my home that Monday evening. I was in the attic with the tech and it appeared to me (I'm NOT an HVAC tech) that he did what he was supposed to do and put all the wiring back. Fast forward to yesterday and I had an AC unit installed by another company. That tech entered the attic to do whatever he needed to do and once again called me upstairs and said to me that the wires are all over the place. I was livid. That tech advised me to contact whoever touched those wires and have them return & place them properly. I sent emails to Harding's service department email showing (again) how they left my house in November and how it looked yesterday. No response. I called Harding this morning asking to speak with Jack Harding and once again Gary speaks with me and refuses to transfer the call. He's going on and on about how busy they are and it will take 2 days for a tech to get there and look at it. Then he says he can't find me in their system. At this point, all I want to do is speak with the owner and Gary refused. When I told him two days was unacceptable, he said that I've been waiting this long, so what's two more days. Harding Plumbing & Supply Inc. did my new home septic system visual inspection 08/10/23 with an in-pipe camera, stated it appears to be in proper working order. They also came back to pumped out the septic prior to closing on 8/14/23 and stated the same as above. On 11/01/23 the toilets started gurgling and emitting odors. I immediately contacted another company who stated the noise and odors are a prelude to a septic problem, they came out 11/07/23 but was unable to run a scope due to the clogged line and had to dig up and open the septic, I was mortified to discover it was not only clogged, but backed up to the point of no flow due, the other company stated "the entire main line into house clogged by grease buildup in the pipes from years of buildup from abuse and neglect" it cost $1,700. I finally reached out to Mr. Jack Harding today 12/14/23 after my Thanksgiving/the holidays had settled down a bit to let him know that his report was inaccurate and/or his workers did not do a good job, if they worked at all; he immediately indicated there's a clause at the bottom of the receipt that stated "there's no warranty on his inspection or service does not constitute any warranty against future problems or issues". In addition, he made no effort to get to the bottom of this discrepancy or speak to his workers regarding poor or lack of services, that was charged and paid for prior to closing on my home. POOR WORK, QUALITY, SERVICE, NO RESOLUTION FOR PROBLEM!!! read more

I have NOTHING but god things to say about Harding Plumbing. They came out a few times to fix my water pressure, replaced my pressure regulator valve and even when I thought I had a problem, Danny, came back out and took a look at things for us. He was TOTALLY honest, which is such a Blessing when half the time these companies are out to take advantage of you and get you to pay for stuff you really dont need. Danny was the COMPLETE opposite! He told us what it was, could of charged us an arm & a leg like another company tried to do, for what turned out was a simple fix. He saved us a few hundred dollars that we did NOT have! He even advised me how to go about getting reimbursed for something I paid for out of pocket that my home warranty company denied. Harding Plumbing is a stand up & honest company and actually stands by their work! Their top notch service is hard to come by these days. I havent dealt with any other tech other than Danny but is he is ANY indication of what the other techs are like, Harding Plumbing will be my first call ALL the time for my plumbing needs! The previous owner hired them to fix some concerns I had prior to my purchasing the home. This company supposedly tuned up my hvac system and advised the heat was working properly at the time of their inspection & prior to my moving in but it wasn't. I ended up moving in almost 2 months later to a cold house that wouldn't heat up but instead got colder after having the heat on for more than 30min. No way it would suddenly malfunction to stop working 2 months later if no one lived in the house or did anything to prevent it from working properly. read more

Called them about a water main break between house and meter. Two techs came out and since they couldn't see water puddled they basically scratched their heads and said the line would need to be replaced. No problem, it's 17 years old and repairing it would lead to another repair in the near future. Here's where they showed how unprofessional they are, they gave the impression that it wasn't something they cared to do. They shoved a extremely high quote in my face and basically told me to find someone else. The way they put it... "here's our estimate, we recommend you get other estimates." Their estimate was $500 more than any other ($1700). I got the job done by Express Plumbing for $1200 (very professional company). Awful customer service. Was scheduled for a new garbage disposal on Thursday 5/9/19 between 3-5pm. Made myself available at home. They never called me, I had to call at 4:45pm and ask what the heck was going on. Said they may not get to me today but they would let me know. (even though I had this scheduled over a week and left work early to be available). NEVER contacted me. Then at 9:30pm YES 9:30pm while we were in bed and baby asleep, the handyman knocked on our door, like what the hell???!???! We told him clearly no to coming in?? Never let them pump if you aren't home to watch. I closed on a house 6/25/21 and moved in by 7/5/21. 2 weeks later I called a local plumber because toilet not flushing well and water running like a river under my porch. I am informed there is no line/pipe to the septic tank because it disintegrated because it was what they call "orange burg" made from paper. Yes he said that is your poop in your yard .......ewww. HARDING PLUMBING gave me a closing doc says Anthony Norris pumped a 1000 gallon tank on 6/10/21. On 8/4/21 my local plumber dug up the yard from the house to a 750 gallon tank full of water and solids, removed roots and hard packed Ga clay from the tank top. FF This week: I reached out to HARDING PLUMBING spoke to Chip, who was unable to find any record of my address being pumped around April/May/June I found the record and provided the invoice # and correct date, today he said the tech remembers coming out and pumping my tank. I tried working through my agent and the seller agent in August/ Sept and gave up because I couldn't get a response. Holidays/surgery/ life so I just took the time to reach out. I wonder how he pumped a tank bigger than what I have and it refilled in 54 days with water and solids without a pipe going into the tank and poop in my yard, and how the roots grew back so fast. But I am the one with a full smaller tank. He offered to charge me, but who hires a company that won't stand behind their work and denies the obvious, when I said no thank you he laughed. I can't prove it wasn't pumped, my plumber would not accuse another company out of professionalism. But the math doesn't add up. Now my tank is full and backing up so I have to hire a plumber to empty. read more

My unit was freezing up. Another Hvac company who I have used in the past came out. Unit is not working, we will send some one out for second opinion. Unit had not freon and you need a new unit. I called Harding and Robert had someone out ASAP. They found a leak. Pressurized and found another leak. After fixing refilled with freon. I am now one of the frozen chosen. The other company never suggested repair only replace. I got a great deal and great service. read more

Second time I used them. Call about a leak in expansion tank above hot water heater. They came the same afternoon and replaced within 30 minutes. Both repairman were courteous and respectful. The first time I used them was an emergency as I had a burst water pipe. Same type of fast and courteous service. The more surprising thing is the pricing was extremely reasonable. Giving them two stars because they did actually fix the problem! However, customer service was pretty awful. My husband made an appointment to have them come out and repair/replace two pump style water spigots in our large barn that were not working properly. One was leaking and one had no pressure. He made an appointment for noon and no one calls to tell us they won't be there at the scheduled time. Luckily, my husband was able to call and check up on the appointment as I had to leave and they said they were trying to complete other jobs in the area and make their way towards us. They were 2 hours late already! My husband told them I would be gone. They show up as I am trying to get in to my car to pick up my daughter from a camp. I show them where it all is, tell them they can get to work but if they had any major issues, they needed to please call my husband because he was waiting for their call to walk them through the issue. I was 30 minutes late picking up my very upset daughter. When I get back, the work appears to be completed. I go check the spigots and only one works and the other doesn't. Not only that, all my other water is now no longer working. I go locate the main shut off valves in the driveway and they never even bothered to put the manhole type cover, back on. It was haphazardly laying in the middle of a large driveway near my barn. To add to the misery, they never turned the main water back on and only living in the home 2 months, I didn't know how to turn it back on. I couldn't get the valves to budge! So my husband calls them back out to fix it. They said they would come after eating at a restaurant with their family... how nice. He comes out and turns the valves back on and acts like I should have known how to do that. Umm... you had one job and if you can't turn the main water back on so it works, what was the point?! Then on the way out, they dropped a massive king size snicker bar on the barn driveway I just had repaved a couple days prior and smashed it as it melted, in to my new driveway. Ugh. I don't recommend this company and won't ever use them again. read more

On Monday afternoon at 5:55, our compressor went out. Normally we have to replace the hard-start capacitor once or twice a year (it is 17 years old and eats them like candy). I called around and everybody was closed, but Harding Plumbing Heating and Cooling answered their phone. Even though they closed at 5:00, one of the owners (Jack) stayed until 6:30 to sell me the part. That's dedication! When the new part didn't fix things, it was time for a new compressor. I explored my options with several companies. Because of its age, it didn't make sense to just fix the compressor. I decided to go with a whole new unit, both inside and out. Robert sized everything on Tuesday (along with competing HVAC companies). I did my research and Harding has an A+ BBB rating, and they were hundreds less than the other guys. Wednesday morning I called Robert, told him they had the job, and on Thursday they were installing the hardware. Total time was about 3 1/2 hours. Their technicians were courteous and nice. The techs made sure they didn't mar the hardwood floors. All the old stuff was hauled away. They even offered to sweep the hallway beneath the attic stairs! I have never written an on-line review of a company, but I felt compelled to do so this time because of the exceptional service and price I received from Harding. The parts and labor guarantee was the best I saw. I will do business again with the guys at Harding Plumbing Heating and Cooling without hesitation. read more

Our electric hot water heater unexpectedly went on the fritz just as Georgia temps were dropping! I asked a few friends if they knew a good plumber located south of ATL. One friend suggested Harding stating that when her hot water heater exploded last winter, Harding was there to save the day and had fair pricing. I called them the next morning and they sent someone out the same day The service men were friendly, professional, yet so down to earth allowing me to tell them my "Google diagnosis" even though they're the pros (lol). They told me what they were going to do and how long it would take. I was informed of alternative outcomes in the event my water turned cold again (that this could also be an electrical issue). Sure enough, after my water was hot, it became cold again. I called them back the next day and was first on their route. They confirmed that I needed an electrician after performing a test.
