I wish I would have read to reviews posted everywhere about this before ever even stepping foot on their property! The amount of disrespect this sales lot has showed is actually sickening, they never return calls and if they do, it's DAYS after. The RV has been with their service department more than i myself have had it it's honestly all a joke and while it sucks, all you can do is laugh because how can so many people in a business be SO CROOKED ?!? After weeks of negotiations with my salesman Denver Gilbert, we came to an agreed upon price. Being that I live 800 miles away, and knowing how "tricky" the RV industry can be, I promptly dispatched an independent RV inspector to take a look at the coach. The inspector found various items needing repair, and after discussing the issues with 'Denver', all were taken care of. I was still skeptical as I hopped a plane to go pick up my RV, but once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only had the dealership corrected the issues addressed by the inspector, they assigned me my own RV Tech (Jessie) who spent approximately 8 hours total with me fixing any other issues that I came across during our time together. Jessie didn't complain once. After all was said and done, the dealership fixed everything that I could find on the coach and didn't even try to charge me a single penny above what was agreed upon. All in all, I found Denver Gilbert and DayBro's RV to be both honorable and customer friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Coach. read more

We have always had excellent Service with Day Bros RV in London, Ky but today was a different story, My husband had heart surgery recently and could not wash our Motorhome so I called Day Bros to get a price. I spoke with Matt and he gave me a price to get our RV washed. We are from out of town so we reserved a campsite in London and dropped our Motorhome off this morning to have it washed. The sign in the service area said a complete wash for $3 a foot and that is what Matt had told us. Well when we picked our RV up, the top was not washed. I was very upset but Matt said washing the top was extra. Why did he not tell us that today and when the sign says complete that is what I expected. I will never come back to this place for service again! I do not appreciate being mislead!!! read more

Unreal they way they do business really not fair. I was wanting an class B RV it had said sell Pending on there web site but it was in the middle of an eBay auction. I spent all weekend bidding on it on the eBay. With 18 hours left they took it off eBay. Called them to find out what happened and they sold it off the lot. I dropped off our RV and they had it for 3 weeks. they had told me that the repair would take only 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. after calling and leaving multiple voicemails with the service department and emailing them, I called yet again and finally someone answered. Matt stated that they haven't had time to start on our truck and that it would be another couple of weeks before it was ready. He also accused me of lying by stating that he had not received any voicemails. I hope to have our truck back soon as this is a business vehicle and it is limiting our income to not have it. We dropped it off during a period that we would be ok with not having it and it hasn't even been started on. Very disappointing. read more

I was a little apprehensive about buying from these folks after reading these reviews. I hate that the writers weren't as pleased with Days RV as I am. It started with a call to saleman Anthony, we made a deal on the phone. That was followed by a 400 mile drive to London to see and drive the motorhome. Everything went perfect. Got home and found a minor problem with the cab A/C. I thought, oh boy, here we go, but a with a call back to Anthony and a trip to my local mechanic the problem was fixed. Bought a 02 Winnebago Journey diesel motor home about APR 2013. Bid on RV through the eBay website. Won bid and immediately drove to this sellers location. Sales people were acceptable and the RV was basically as described. There were a few obvious problems which they took care of, There were some they did not, such as this motorhome was apparently a repo and the door lock dead bolt was damaged. The drivers side rear leveler was slow the retract and sometimes would not retract at all. The not so obvious problems with the unit was that the VP44 injector pump was periodically throwing codes and needed to be replaced. I believe they knew about it and either attempted unsuccessfully to repair it or replaced the existing pump with another defective unit. When I received the unit the pump had been either removed or replaced and the flare nuts on top were not properly torqued and shortly began to leak. The entire pump had to be replaced within six months at a cost to me of more than $4400. The Allison transmission was contaminated with unknown debris and the valve body had to be removed and cleaned, fluid replaced another $1000. The front windshield as I now know is often the case with Winnebago products leaked shortly after we bought unit. To sum up the transaction, it was obvious that Day Brothers and perhaps many other dealers do not adequately survey units they acquire to insure that their customers get a good value for their money and a reasonable amount of service out of these expensive units after sale. I'm sure it is about turning units "as is" at your risk, although that is not the conditions of sale advertised. BUYER BEWARE. Buy from from dealers that offer certified pre-owed products and stand behind their products for more than thirty days. Do not be fooled by the offer of extended maintenance contracts, as these costly insurance products are notorious for not covering various motor home problems, as they have the last word as to what and how they will cover claims. read more

We were very satisfied with the sales department. The service department also we were very satisfied. The problem is getting a hold of alive person in the office. The phone system is the most user unfriendly I've ever used. I've tried to contact them for three days and all I get is leave a message will get back to you as soon as possible. You guessed it no callbacks it's an endless loop you call please hold your phone call will be answered in the order it was received. After about five minutes voice comes on and says there's no one here to answer your call this time please leave a message. It absolutely sucks read more

Bad ending to what could have been a great experience. * Please use caution when dealing with this dealership.* Everything went well at first but once my refundable deposit was made I was unable to get a hold of anyone. My daughter had to be hospitalized for 8 weeks and after multiple attempts to reach out I was promised a call back regarding my refundable deposit which never happened. Luckily I was able to get in writing that the security deposit was refundable. I had to dispute the charges with my bank which took almost 3 months to finally get my refund back. I feel I was clearly ignored by this dealership when reaching out to talk about my refundable deposit It really made me upset because up front the sales rep Denver was very nice and seemed like an honest, good person. I still think he is a good guy. I do not have any hard feeling towards this dealership because I know they have to make money. I am just upset that I was told I would receive contact back regarding this multiple times which never happened. If I had not disputed this refundable deposit with my bank I feel that they would not have refunded me. I am not advising to not do business with this dealership, I am just advising to proceed with caution. My experience was great up until I had to reach out about receiving my deposit back. I feel that if I was able to come get this RV then the experience would have been great. read more

LIARS, DECEIVERS or INCOMPETENCE? I committed to buy a truck camper over the phone after an assurance by the salesman there were no water leaks, which is my main concern in shopping for an rv. This dealer is 652 miles from where I live and I expressed to the salesman how important it was for him to inspect the camper throughly because of the distance, and expense of traveling 1,300 miles round trip to their dealership. I left a $2,000 deposit on my debit card, and drove to KY to bring it home. Immediately opening the door to the camper, I noticed a crack in the ceiling by the fantastic fan which is not uncommon with a mass produced "sticks and staples" camper. However, above the bed by the skylight the ceiling was bubbled from wall to wall, which is a sign of being really wet. I pushed on the entire area, water came out like a damp sponge. I climbed on the roof and found rot (softness) above the first crack I saw. Same with the skylight above the bed. It was soft all the way around. This is a Lance camper, with an aluminum structure, but there is wood around skylight, fans etc. Lance is build better than most, and the roofs are very sturdy unless they are rotten due to long term leaks which this one had obviously been leaking long enough to turn the wood substructure to mush. The first three words in this review are harsh, but are applicable and accurate. I cannot believe the owner, manager or salesman that took this on trade did not notice the obvious damage to the ceiling above the bed. Long term water leaks cause serious, expensive damage and anyone who works in the rv business knows this. They were nice and understanding enough to return my $2,000 deposit on my debit card. Now they are aware of the water damage, and I would assume they will disclose that fact to the next person who inquires about the ad for this 2007 Lance 861 on rvt.com. read more

I had done business with day bros once before without much trouble, so purchased a $38,000 travel trailor for our snow bird home in Florida, Was told trailer was new and been inspected, delivered Oct 13, called monday 15th talked to Barry, there was no keys, no remote 2 of the slides did not extend out fully and problem with the airconditioner blower, Barry said he would mail the keys and the remote and have the service manager call me about the slides, I did recieve the keys but no remote and no phone call I called Barry back he said he would check with the serrvice manager to find out why he had not called, tried a week later to call Barry and he would not return my calls so finally on Oct 25 I wrote a review on google and got a call from the service manager on Oct 26 saying he got an email and that is the first he heard about any problems. Service manager promised to put remote in the mail and said he would contact a mobile service to come correct the issues with the RV. I did not hear back from him Friday so I texted him monday to tell him that it had gotten cold over the weekend and the furnace was also not working at all. He did text back to tell me he was busy but would call me before noon, well as figured that was several hours ago and no surprise we have not heard from him. I would never buy another dutchmen and certainly could not reccomend Day Bros RV as they appear to have more business than they can handle. read more
